Hello everyone,
This is just my thank you comment for entering my first contest.
Wow, I didn't expect so many entries coming up fast today, and holy cow, they all really do stand out, as in drawings I can really see in This Week's Best good, wow.To a lot, I just keep staring at, laughing, smiling and telling myself "Oh man this will be our hardest decision ever"
I'm so very proud of you all, and as much as I want to drop a real comment explaining every detail you put in, it'll have to wait until the results, I informed Davidsfire and Kshame/Saio to hold on their comments. Me, I just wanna burst with so many words, really I do, a whole lot, but like Rainbow Dash in the episode "Flight to the Finish" I gotta hold my fangirl-ism attitude and be professional bleh. XD
Any entries after the 21st will not count, same goes with entries less than four hours and camera icon users, but will have an honorable mention in the results for giving it their all.
Right now we're waiting for all the entries to come in, and once my two judges are online, we will discuss them all individually and choose the top winners together, plus more prizes to any other entries chosen by the judges themselves, including myself.
Reminder, if you have any WIPs or announcements, please delete them so the viewers can enjoy looking through the tagged gallery of complete entries only! Even if you want to keep your WIP for I don't know what reason when your gallery should be clean, just remove the tag, it'll be easier for the viewers to see all the amazing art.
And for everyone else, both the entries and just viewers, please take the time to drop a like and comment on all the complete entries for all their hard work and making it throughout this difficult contest of starting artists, regular artists that draw for fun, artists that's name and OC are very well known, and artists with a lot of art experience. No matter in any of these ways, if I love your art to death, or if you're my best friend, these factors will be put aside and we'll just look at the art itself, so no "but I'm your best friend, I deserve a higher place" comments will work.
Results date will still not be announced, I do want this animation to turn out to be a little entertaining and building of excitement, plus try to see the order of how to announce these, with the top ones being last.
I hope you had a whole lot of fun doing this and maybe treat each drawing after this like you are entering this contest and give it your all. If you have anything to say after reading this long comment, just leave a comment in my gallery. Like I said, I seriously can't wait to talk about these along with Davidsfire and Kshame, wow, a lot I can't stop staring at. You all learned many new things and pushed yourselves all the way, now keep climbing that endless mountain, every huge leap is an achievement for yourself and a big smile for your followers.

Oh no no no!! This is very bad news that I'd hate to tell you, but you used a photo reference. Im so sad on the inside so much because your entry was a top entry, I was so very excited for yours. When I saw that camera icon, I just dropped, because me and the judges must follow the rules when the two animations said "no photo reference whatsoever"
Im having a very hard time writing this, because you're one of my friends and most fave artists with your silly positive attitude and adorable ponies, but as a judge that has to follow the rules along with the other two and to be fair to the rest of the artists that entered, I'm going to have this entry disqualified....*cries on the inside*
(please don't hate me or be sad, I'm sad as it is, and if you do, I'll still love and keep following you)

All i can say on this piece is whoa and amazing with all the amount of detail, the effects and a good use of the color theory and complementary colors..... but unfortunately I need to agree with Ringo on this one and we got to disqualify your entry because of the little reference icon. It does pain me to do this for this amazing piece you made. You were one of my top ten but now I got to see this go sadly.... but you have so much talent young lady and as a Judge I need to follow the rules of the contest. However, please don't give up drawing or be sad because of this little this. You have the talent to go far and use that to go even further, so please do not stop drawing and you are one of the artist I want to see more of and don't let this decision cloud you and get you down so keep your chin up and we know that this talent resides in you and its time to show the gallery how great of an artist you diffidently are.

Yo, Ringo! Cut her some slack-- She used like fifty OCs (and other various media references), so you can't blame her for just wanting to get the colors correct.
Imo, the no reference-icon requirement is a bit ridiculous-- especially in cases like this where it's obvious she didn't trace.
If you MUST penalize her, just knock her down a couple of points, but don't completely disqualify her entry. It'd be a shame to see such a lovely entry disqualified just because the artist wanted to be accurate...

Beatle, this is gorgeous c': It's amazing how much time and effort you put into this, and I cannot thank you enough for adding SilverFire into it ;u; I hope you can work things out with Ringo, because I think this would certainly be a top entry, if not First Place caliber.
