Well I love the method you're doing and I know it'll turn out great, but if this is princess luna, it won't count, remember, the spotlight must be your OC.
Like I said, not this picture :3 And even if me actual picture is disqualified for being too much Luna, I don't care cause I worked really hard on it. Yoshi, and others who may read this, winning #mlpcml13 isn't important to me. Getting the recognition that it's the best work I've done, this year, is ^-^
What do you mean by not this pic? And I'm not saying that winning is the best thing to do, but at least have that mentality of wanting it, it's hard to explain. If you always tell yourself that, then what goal and journey will you have. You're a great artist, you just need to keep telling yourself that you can and will get better each drawing, and someone giving a prize to whoever performs the best is a great motivation.
Oh, right. I'm not entering this picture into the contest. I just wanted to show the style I've used on the actual entry. I can't post a WIP on that as it's finished, and waiting for the due date. I appreciate the praise, and I think I've recently made another leap forward in my skills, but still I don't compare to some of the other incredible artists out there. If I win, I'll be over the moon (waving to Nightmare Moon as I go), but if I'm not even mentioned, I'll feel no loss, or sorrow. :3 I mostly don't care what others think of my art on colors, only a very select few, and so I'm happy to repeat myself that I don't care if I don't win, but believe me that I'd be overjoyed if I do ^_^
Colors can be a really great place, especially with supportive artists like yourself, Ringo. I genuinely hope that most people will take away a sense of accomplishment in their entry this year, I know I have ^-^
