Frostedstar spotted a mouse bounding over the high snow. He tensed, ready to pounce.

Lightningstrike huffed and layed down in the snow, melting into the pure white ground.

Loudstorm leapt out of his hiding spot and pinned a nuthatch by its wings. He delivered a swift k!lling bite. *I wonder if Foxclaw, Frostedstar, and Pinefur are done hunting...*

Foxclaw purred in delight as he played with a leaf that had drifted to the ground. He suddenly remembered that he was supposed to be hunting, and stood up to scent the air.

Sweetfur was sorting herbs in her den, mumbling quietly to herself.

Riverstone was frolicing in the snow childishly. She giggled playfully. "ooh I wonder where father is at?"she said quietly "he hasn't congradulated me yet has he now?" (aka foxclaw ewe) Riverstone searched for foxclaw in the warriors den.

Pinefur waggled his rump as he readied himself for the leap. "I'm gonna get CHAAAAWWWWOOOWWW!" He whirls around, the dove flitting away. Pinefur waggles his paw, now bleeding due to a blackberry thorn stuck in his pad. "Owwie..."

(I adore the new cover, it's brilliant! And yay, I'm on time for once! *happy dance*)
Rabbitkit burst out of the nursery, breathing in the nippy air. Her stump of a tail thrashed playfully, and she stretched her developing muscles. Her white teeth showed in a big grin as she trotted to the elder's den, listening for sounds of snoring. When none could be heard at the moment, she padded in, smiling at Morningfinch. "Hello, Morningfinch! Do you have any stories? Any fleas that need crushing today?"

Bumblewhisker strode out of the warriors den filled with pride. She did her best to have her fur stand out from the rest. *I have the most lovely fur in the Clan. No. The entire forest!*

Morningfinch groaned. "What I need is peace and kit-free quiet." He plopped on his side and stared meanacingly at Rabbitkit.(Right?) His tail twitched in annoyance.

mosskit sulkily mumbled as she looked around at her fellow clanmates. *where was krestllekit?* she thought, and she padded to the nursury.

(Purple dots mean they have a mate/have mated. @hallo, not yet. She just became a warrior, and please refer to their parents as their actual name. ^w^)

Sweetfur, feeling quite hungry, limped out of her den to get some fresh-kiIl. Her stomach bulged out at the sides, and the tabby hoped that it wasn't too conspi.cuous.

Frostedstar wriggled his shoulders and sprung upon the mouse. He swiftly k!lled it and carried it to the spot he left his finch.

Rabbitkit smiled, stretching. "Aww, c'mon, Morningfinch! I just want to hear a story; how else will I become a better warrior, without your wisdom? You've fought a ton in your life, right?" Her small claws dug into the ground in excitment.

Lightningstrike spotted Sweetfur and padded to greet her. "Hello Sweetfur."

Loudstorm picked up the fresh-k!ll and headed towards their meeting place. He sat and waited for the other hunters to arrive.

Windfur stood atop a large boulder, scouting the border for any susp.icious activity. Seeing none, she hopped onto the snowy forest floor and trotted back to camp. "Pine... huh?" She turned her head this way and that, trying to find Pinefur. She shrugs and continues walking.

(no prob tak ;3) Riverstone saw thunderheart and replied "hello men-thunderheart how are you feeling?" She walked over to thunder heart and sat with her. "I was looking for foxclaw have you seen him?"she inquired.

Cheetahblaze sneezed as one of the dove's feathers fell on his nose. He picked up the dove from the fresh k!ll pile then took it to the entrance of the warrior den.
Proudly, Bumblewhisker was looking around the camp for her son, Pinefur. "Now where is Pinefur?" She called off the search and decided to groom her plush, soft fur.

Foxclaw caught the scent of a pheasant nearby, and he raised his tail happily, *That bird could feed half the Clan!* he thought. He dropped into a hunter's crouch and creeped toward where he saw the bird, a female pheasant, pecking at something on the ground.

Morningfinch sighs and rolls onto his belly. "Get me some fresh k!ll and I'll consider it." He watches Rabbitkit intently.

Sweetfur smiled at Lightningstrike, "Hello Lightningstrike. It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" she mewed, gazing up at the clear, sapphire sky.

Frostedstar unearthed his previous k!ll (another mouse) and gripped it inbetween his jaws. He bounded through the trees and in the direction of Loudstorm's black and white pelt.

Kestrelkit woke from an unexpected nap. She yawned and noticed that Rabbitkit had left. Stretching, Kestrelkit trotted out of the nursury. She looked around camp. *If she's anywhere, she'd be at the elder's den!* She walked over and sat down next to her sister. "Good morning!" Kestrelkit said cheerfully.

Skykit sat outside, enjoying the fresh air. *I'm gonna be an apprentice soon! Then I'll be one step closer to being the best warrior ever!* He smiled determinedly. Then Skykit got up and looked for something interesting to do.

Foxclaw suddenly leaped at the bird, sinking his claws into it's flesh. It struggled wildly, screeching loudly and pecking the spotted tom's thick pelt. Eventually he broke it's neck and began dragging it to the hunting squad's meeting area.

Pinefur limped into camp, licking his mortally wounded leg, yowling, "Yoweeee!" (XD Pinefur, you need a spine.) He looks around for Sweetfur. "I need help! I'm bleeding out!"

"good evening lightningstrike!" she diped her head politely and searched his gaze to see what the powerful warrior would think of her. She shyly glanced away but returned her glance at him. "its a really nice day!"

Rabbitkit nodded to the elder. "Sure thing, Morningfinch! What would you like? I think I just heard some cats get back from hunting, so there should be a lot." She stood, ready to head to the freshk!ll pile, happy to hear a story and help one of her superiors. She had always loved the stories and wisdom of the elders and senior warriors, not to mention their outspoken personalities.

Lightningstrike grimaced at the black kit. He hissed under his breath and yanked a mouse out of the dwindling fresh-k!ll pile.

Rabbitkit smiled at Kestrelkit, licking her sister's bed-head. "I was going to get myself and Morningfinch some breakfast; you should come too! Besides, I hear Pinefur screeching for a medicine cat...."

Sweetfur rolled her eyes, "Hey Lightningstrike, would you mind sharing that with me?" she asked adowably.

"what will make you like me?" she squeaked, as if not hoping for a negitive responce. she lowered her eyes and shuffled her small paws. "well i er,........" she mumbled quietly.

Morningfinch grunted. "An octopus." He cackled to himself, obviously pleased at his stupid joke.

Lightningstrike just grunted as he stomped through the snow.

Loudstorm flicked his tail at Frostedstar in greeting.

Frostedstar dropped his mice and meowed, "Hello, Loudstorm. Have the others arrived?"

She looked at sweetfur, knowing the beautiful she cat would never shoot a negitive response at her. She thanked her in her head, knowing she shared a special bond with her because of her accident.

Cheetahblaze sunk his sharp fangs into the doves flesh. He took in the warmth of the juices, happy to have a decent meal. *It is leaf-bare.*

Bumblewhisker walked around the camp, swishing he tail back and forth. Her solid yellow eyes looked around the camp for any witnesses of her beautiful pelt.

Riverstone smiled back at thunderheart "well i have mixed feelings since sylphapaw is still an apprentice. Its just really strange i have always dreamed of being a warrior"she replied shyly. Rivestone stared off into the distance *poor sylpha i wonder how she is doing* "well bye thunderheart i have to go check on something" riverstone said quietly. Riverstone left thunderheart and headed towards the medicine cat den.

She sighed loudly as lightningstrike lumbered off, and sniffed the winter air. the faintest traces of spring far away sent her into a daydream. a moment later she shook her head clearing the veiw.

Windfur sat in the snow, playing with her tail like a kit. She flicked it away, then pounced on it and repeated that until she was thuroughly dizzy. But at least it was better than being bored.

She flicked her tail. "how are you sweetfur?" she mewed, watching her intently. Mosskit blinked slowly apreciating the warm sun above her head. She flicked her ear in response of listening to a conversation nearby.

Foxclaw eventually arrived at the meeting spot, dragging his pheasant, "Guys I her," he meowed through the feathers.

Sweetfur sighed, then padded over to Pinefur, "What's wrong?" she asked, tilting her head.

Rabbitkit smiled cheekily at Morningfinch's joke. "Fine, you get the squished prey at the bottom of the pile, then!" She strutted out, barely stumbling over herself. The past moon had been full of practicing balance at all possible times, and the reddish she-cat had improved much. When she reached the pile, she picked up a mouse for herself and the largest squirrel she could carry there for Morningfinch. *Bugger's lucky I respect him...* She chuckled at the thought, trotting back to the elder's den in confidence as she didn't fall once. Once there she dropped the squirrel between the grumpy elder's paws, making sure to make it's tail smack his muzzle. She sat across from him and she tucked into the mouse, smiling at Morningfinch expectantly.

Loudstorm shook his head, and mumbled something through his bird.

Frostedstar tilted his head. "Let's wait I guess."

Lightningstrike plopped down unhappily. *Stupid kits won't leave me alone. I'm not their mother.*

mosskit saw bumblewhiskers action and she rolled her eyes muttering a negitive discription of the warrior under her breath. "thank starclan that upstuck cat can look away from herself to see her clanmates for once-" and the rest of her words were unhearable to any ear.

she said that near lightningstrike, and licked her forpaw. "hey, uhh.......well, er.......why dont you like kits?" she said trying to start up conversattion.

Pinefur nodded slowly and showed Sweetfur his paw, the blood already clotted and the small thorn imbedded into the angry tissue. "It hurts..."
Morningfinch nods and starts eating his squirrel. He starts speaking, his mouth full of the delectable rodent. "Wheb I wash a kut, I wash," He swallows and takes another bite, "Lesshh annoybing than you."

Riverstone walked to the medicine cat den taking long strides. She entered and sat next to the limp body of her fellow clan mate. Riverstone spoke softly and said to sylphapaw "please get better soon". She crouched down next to riverstone and layed there quietly.

Sweetfur flicked her tail, "Okay, hold still." She gripped her teeth around the thorn, then pulled it out. She spat it out on the ground, looking at the large blood-covered object.

Foxclaw looked away, his ears growing hot with embarrassment.

Frostedstar twitched his whiskers, then meowed, "You may return to camp if you'd like. Please take my k!lls with you."

Loudstorm happily obliged and jammed the two mice into his jaws and padded off.

Lightningstrike glared at Pinefur and angrily ripped a piece of meat from the mouse corpse.

Rabbitkit smiled wider, taking her own large bite of prey, purposefully imitating Morningfinch. "'hat jush meenth yo we'nt as funt." She swallowed, then her eyes lit up. "How old were you when you became an apprentice? What was your favorite part of training?"

Pinefur looked away from the thorn, feeling a bit queasy. (Did I say that he hates the sight of cat blood? XD) "Thank... you" He limps off towards the direction of his birch tree to clean his wound.

(Hey Tak, when will we have the gathering?)

Foxclaw picked up his kiIl, along with some of the others and went back to camp.

( @Tak: Ooooo, Lighteningstrike is so JELLY! It'd be hilarious if he started choking, either by accident or to get Sweetfur's attention. Just saying. XD )

Frostedstar noticed Foxclaw and smiled. "I'd expect nothing less from a senior warrior like yourself." he meowed eyeing the tom's prize. "It's best if we head back with Loudstorm."

Loudstorm reached the camp entrance and dropped his load into the small prey pile.

Sweetfur watched the fluffy tom go, then looked over at Lightningstrike.

Morningfinch rolls his eyes and spits out a bone. "Six moons, like most cats. And I liked leaving the elders alone. I suggest you do the same." He frowns and goes back to eating his prey.

Lightningstrike followed the not-fit-to-be-duputy with his multicolored eyes and wished for Starclan to send a strike of lightning onto the tom. Lightningstrike snorted at the irony.

Rabbitkit smiled and stood, stretching. "Alright, I know when I'm not wanted. Thanks, Morningfinch. Even if you don't really like me, you're one of my favorite cats. Thanks for the story!" She picked up her mouse and walked into the clearing, then towards Pinefur, who seemed to be in pain and distress. She tilted her head in confusion, but left it alone, instead simply sitting beside her father, fur brushing his slightly.

(he's not jelly, he's jam. XD no he just despises Pinefur. XD)

After a while riverstone stood up and stretched realizing that she had dozed off. She looked back at sylphapaw and sighed leaving the medicine cat den. Riverstone saw fox claw enter camp with a giant female pheasent. "Foxclaw !" riverstone shouted bounding towards the senoir tom.

She stopped grooming herself then looked around the camp for anycat to talk to. *It'd be nice to have a lovely conversation.* She looked around even more them frowned. *Where is Pinefur?*

I won't be able to rp right now because I'm going to a relatives house for dinner. My mom didnt fix the Internet for my 3ds still too. If the rp is still going in a few hours I will try to join

Loudstorm noticed his favorite warrior boring his eyes into Pinefur's pelt. Loudstorm shook his head and grinned slightly. He padded over to the boiling tom and sat down. "Keep at it and you'll set his fur ablaze." he joked.

Morningfinch, for a very, very breif instant, felt a bit guilty. He shook it off and continued eating.

Pinefur smiles as his kit sits next to him. "You're too sweet for Morningfinch." He stops licking his paw and chuckles. (XD Pinefur isn't terribly fit to be deputy. He's a bit of a pansy.)

Pinefur sees Bumblewhisker looking around and ducks down. "Oh no... not her.... she'll coddle me to death...." He sticks out his toungue and starts licking his irritated paw, pretending to be a different cat. (Which is kinda hard when no other cat looks like you. XD)

(Naw gurl, he likes being deputy. He's just not really into the whole fighting part of it. XD -Tak)

Rabbitkit shook her head at Pinefur, a thoughtful look on the small kit's face. "I think he /wants/ to be nice, he just doesn't know how. 'Cause he's old. He's so smart though, and I love his stories." She looked at Pinefur nursing his paw. "What happened? Did a snake bite you, but it's poison wasn't strong enough to hurt you, because you're so tough?" (She thinks her father is a hero. XD He needs a confidence boost sometimes.)

"I wish it were possible, Loudstorm." Lightningstrike retorted, still glaring at Pinefur.

Loudstorm raised his eyebrows and meowed, "Why do you hate him so much? You never were this way when you were my apprentice."

Punefur grins. "Yes, it was eight tail lengths long and it's fangs were huge. I didn't want it to hurt you or momma, so I fought it. Luckily, it only got my foot." He licked the top of Rabbitkit's head, hoping his story wasn't too extreme to be unbelievable.

Bumblewhisker turned her head and recognized the white and brown tom. She smiled with delight. "Pinefur!" She padded over to the deputy and began licking his head.

Pinefur frowned as he was smothered in licks. "Heh... heeey Bumblewhisker..." He glanced at Rabbitkit. Now his story would seem a total far,se and he'd be seen as less than an idol to his kit. (Pine, quit bein' so paranoid. XD)

"Hey, Bumblewhisker, did you hear what Pinefur did? He k!lled a giiiant, poisonous snake to save Sunstripe and me and the clan! That's why his paw's ble.eding. Isn't he so cool?"
