Pinestar opened his eyes, then yawned. He sat up and stretched, his muscles stiff with the cold. He stepped into the entrance through the hole that lead to his den, then entered the main area of the camp, feeling the snow crunch beneath his white paws.

Rivertail watched the water flowing in the back of the medicine den. It's subtle trickling made the cold den a serene place. He restrained from touching the clear liquid, if he went outside... his paws might become frost-bitten. He turned away from the entracing stream and left the medicine den. The snow was sparkling like stars outside, and the sky pink.

Snowtail stepped out of the warriors den and padded over to her brother, she greeted him and they began chatting quietly.

Sorrelpaw opened her eyes as the chill of the leaf-bare breeze had reached the apprentices den. She sat up quickly, looking outside.

(heello!) The snow around him gave a sudddn crunch, and Sunpelt's eyes flew open.
" I fell asleep outside the camp again! " he reallised witha jolt. Shaking the frost off of his golden pelt, he bounded off toward the camp.

"Pinestar, you said you were making Dewpaw a Warrior today, correct? Well, I'd love to take him on his first patrol as a Warrior," she mewed.
Pinestar smiled, "Of course, Snowtail. I'm sure the young tom would enjoy that."

Bounding into the camp, Sunpelt skidded to a stop mousetails away from Pinestar.
"G-good morning," he mewed.

Pinestar twitched his whiskers in amus.ement, "Hehe, fell asleep during your 'night hunting' again?" he chuckled.

(waiting for Pinestar's reaction...)
Sunpelt dipped his head in greeting to his clanmates, then looked around. " Anything i can help with? " he asked.

SH.IT! I'M HERE!

Rivertail wrapped his long (it's huuuuge XD) tail around his paws, and watched the camp. Silverkit was bouncing in and out of the nursery, and Snowtail was chatting with Pinestar. He could sense an underlying excitement crackling in the camp's atmosphere. Someone was becoming an apprentice today.

" Well..." Sunpelt dipped his head uncertainly. " The cold got the better of me, and I don't even have anything to bring back." The warrior seemed a bit embarrassed, half wondering what would happen next.

Sorrelpaw bounded out of the den and onto the cold snow. "Snow!" She mewed. Sorrelpaw batted at the lightly falling snowflakes. She had always acted like a kit, full of no worries.

Conifertail yawned and stretched her paws. She sighed and squinted at the sun. She trotted out of the warrior den and trotted over to her leader. "Morning Pinestar.. Its bright today huh?!"

wait xD Sun?! I meant The Snow touched her nose and she jumped slightly xD

Pinestar smiled, "It's fine Sunpelt. Why not go and eat? Ar sure is a big help when it comes to knowing where the best prey is."
Snowtail bounded off to play with Silverkit, since she enjoyed kit's games.

Sorrelpaw fell over as she turned her head to see Dewpaw. "Yyou bet two mice I do!" The young apprentice stood up, her dark blue eyes looking at the tom.

Can i have a kit that Conifer finds in the woods?! It'd be her nephew.. But she doesnt know..

" Thank you! " Sunpelt was just about to pad away when he noticed that Conifertail had joined the group. " G-good morning," he mewed.

Rivertail stood up when Snowtail left Pinestar. His tall lean figiure allowed him to quickly go through the falling snow and slight wind. He dipped his head to his leader. "How goes it, Pinestar?"

Conifertail turned her head to look at Sunpelt, She smiled and nodded. "Good Morning Sunpelt.. How are you today?! Enjoying the snow!?" Conifertail shivered as a snowflake touched her nose

( sorry about all the stammering, Sunpelt is not only shy, but pretty embarrassed right now too. XD )

Pinestar smiled at Conifertail, "Yeah, it is bright today. Especially with it reflecting off the snow. Also, would you mind organi.zing the dawn patrol?" he asked the calico she-cat.

He turned to Rivertail, "Quite swell. Although it IS a bit cold. How are you?" he meowed.

" Yes," Sunpelt replied. " It looks beautiful outside, but the snow sure is cold! "

Snowtail flicked her tail, "How about we play 'Catch the Kittypet?' I'll be Pascal, and you're the fearsome warrior!" she sat down and, talking funny, she mewed, "I'm a fat kittypet who loves taking food from the Clan cats."

" Oh! " Sunpelt perked up immediatley, forgeting that he had not yet eaten. " A patrol? I'll help! "

Conifertail dipped her head to Pinestar and nodded. "Sure! I'll call a meeting and organise a patrol" She bounded up to the high rock and mewed. "All cats old enough to hunt, gather round" She smiled and lifted up her left paw in a proud manner. "I need 4 or 5 cats to come on a patrol with me"

" I will! " Sunpelt suggested. " I had a look around earlier this morning, so I know where we might need to check. "

Rivertail smiled. "That it is Pinestar... That it is." He watched the camp becoming full and alive. "I am well, though I will be needing catmint soon. It is green cough season."

Pinestar nodded, "You could try taking some from Pascal's garden. The lazy kittypet should still be sleeping."

Snowtail squealed, "Oh no! Not the ferocious Silverkit!" She moved away from the kit, but made herself mive like a fat kittypet.

" Hm? " Sunpelt noticed the medicine cat. " That might be a problem, " he mewed. " I don't recall seeing any of those herbs for quite a while. Do you know where we might find any? The dawn patrol could go look."

Starclaw groggily trotted out from the warrior's den, his jaws parting in a yawn. His green eyes searched the area for Conifertail. Once he spotted the deputy, he shook off the last of his sleepiness and darted over to her. "Good morning," he began, "may I join the dawn patrol?" He asked the deputy hopefully.

(Sorry, pan caught on fire.)

Snowtail looked over at her apprentice, "Hm? Yes, Dewpaw?" she mewed, continuing her game.

Flowertail sneered in disgust at Snowtail's games. Flowertail thought their game was very disrespectful to kittypets... and to her kittypet friends she used to know.

Silverpelt was standing on a thunderpath. it was dark outside, and the thunderpath seemed to snake on forever in both directions. Then, on one side, two lights started coming towards him. they got closer and closer until... Silverpelt woke up in a panic! he was just drea.ming again. He started grooming the white furred. scar on his grey and black pelt out of nervousness. Was he ever going to get over his trauma?

( @Sonic I lit a towel on fire yesterday... almost burned my house down... ene )

Rivertail nodded to Pinestar. "Of course." He looked at the light grey warrior. "Icywind, thank you. I will need your as'sistance... But first, I need to eat." He purred a little and walked to the fresh ki// pill. He selected a rather skinny vole, it was still slightly warm. The tom brought it back to the others and began eating. "You can hunt on the way to Pascal's if you'd like, Icywind."

"Well..." Sunpelt felt lost among the crowd of cats. " I guess I'm not used to clan life yet... But I love going on patrols, so I guess it'll be ok. "

Snowtail yelped and fell over, "No! Please, have mercy! I won't take your prey again!" she mewed.

Conifertail smiled at the 3 catswho offered to join. "Come on then! Anyone else?" She wandered around the camp sniffing the ground. "Hmm.. I smell.. Wait.." She ran towards a bush and yowled. She dragged out a huge rat. "Oh no.."

Pinestar saw the rat, "Conifertail, where did that come from?" he meowed.

Sorrelpaw looked around the camp searching for any sign of Finchpaw. "I'm bored!" The apprentice groaned then fell to the snowy ground.

Leopardkit wandered around in the forest. His eyes were barely open. He mewed franticly. He was abandoned.. He was terrified

" Pinestar? " the warrior turned to his leader. " Could i help get that catmint? " Sunpelt was very eager to help, almost as if he was trying to fix his mistake.

( @Oakfur The Clan's just mingling right now. Nothing important yet, except that Conifertail's gathering a patrol.)

Conifertail pointed towards the bush then fell to the floor shaking. "No.. No.. Not again.. Pinestar when i joined.. you promised me.. this wouldn't happen again!" (She was forced to take her kits to another Clan, due to a rat infestation!)

A gold splotched, white she-cat snaked out of the warriors den, glancing around the camp. Everyone was waking up. Shinefur gave her pelt a brisk shake as a chill began to set in. Her eyes then fell upon the nursery. Silverkit and Snowtail were playing some game. With a flick of her tail she dashed over to them and breathed, "Oh no! Silverkit! What's happened?" wanting to play along.

Sunpelt bounded over. A rat... suddenly a shiver racked his body. " T-that... this isn't good... " he mewed. " I've seen these before... "

I might have 2 cats n a kit.. if thats okay.. But maybe a Kittpet? Can i pleeease

Pinestar flicked his tail, "Of course you can. But first..." he leaped up onto the fallen log, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather around the Fallen Log for a Clan meeting!" he yowled, raising his brown tail.

"I could help with the catmint too." Flowertail said.

Silverpelt stretched and left his den. he heard faint mewing somewhere...

The warrior shook himself abruptly. " Don't worry, Conifertail. It's probably just a single stray rat. " he mewed loudly, wanting to comfort her.

The kittypet would be called Tiger or Mist or Bruce

Snowtail nodded, "I promise, oh fierce one!" her attention shifted over to Pinestar, and she sat up, looking at him, "Hm... I guess Dewpaw's getting his Warrior name," she mewed.

The warrior shook himself abruptly. " Don't worry, Conifertail. It's probably just a single stray rat. " he mewed loudly, wanting to comfort her.

Shinefur and Starclaw's attention was immediately cast to the leader that stood upon the Fallen Log. Both siblings darted to the log, eager to hear Pinestar's announcement.

Conifertail shook but pricked up her ears when she heard a faint mewing. She rushed to Pinestars side. "Um.. Pinestar.. I hear mewing from the forest.."

Sunpelt nodded. " I hear something too, " he remarked.

Pinestar whispered to Conifertail, "We'll check that out shortly..." He then looked at his Clan, "Dewpaw, come here please," he meowed.

Sunpelt sat down beside his clanmates. He could feel the tension and excitement coming off them in waves.

Sorrelpaw heard Pinefur's yowl then bounded over to the Fallen Log, batting at snowflakes in the process. She rested in the cold snow, eager to hear what was going on.

Conifertail crept back down to the clan and stared at the bush. She urged to go towards it but decided not to. "Theres rats in there.. I can sense it.." She whispered to herself. She watched as Dewpaw walked up to Pinestar. She sighed and thought to herself 'I wish I had an apprentice..'

Sunpelt took the moment of silence as an opportunity to look around. The bush the rat had come from seemed to be still, but despite the calm there was something that made his fur raise.

Dewpaw padded up to his leader, feeling excitment rise in his chest, "Y-yes Pinestar?" he squeaked.
Pinestar smiled, "Dewpaw, are you willing to defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
The apprentice nodded, "Yes sir."
"Then," Pinestar began, "I call upon our ancestors to watch over this young warrior. Dewpaw, you shall be known as Dew(insert whatever name Rainbow chose here, since I can't remember it.), we honor you for your courage and kindness."
The new warrior touched his nose to Pinestar's shoulder, then turned and looked at the Clan, smiling brightly as they chanted his new name.

Conifertail pricked up her ears and snarled, She trotted over to the bush and stuck her head in. She fell backwards in shock. "ARGH! PINESTAR! RATS. AND I MEAN LOTS OF THEM!" She tapped the bush and loads of rats appeared.

Sunpelt grinned as he joined the clan in chanting. He felt himself relaxing, filling with joy. ' This is where i belong, ' he thought.

"Dewpelt! Dewpelt!" Sorrelpaw chanted as loud as she could. The mews of the Clan rang in her ears as they continued to chant. *That'll be me one day!*

Conifertail tried not to panic. "Patrol.. Come with me.." She needed to get out of the camp, before she broke down.

Suddenly his mew changed to a yowl of hor.ror. dozens of shiny, slea.zy bodies poured out of the bush, sliding like a black, oily river across the camp. his body shook as he remembered his first encounter with rats.

" Coming! " Sunpelt bounded out of camp after his deputy.

Pinestar smiled warmly, then saw the rats climbing into the camp, "AuroraClan, hide the kits! Warriors, attack!" he yowled, leaping onto a rat. He snapped it's neck, then screeched in pain as several climbed on him and sunk their fangs into his flesh.

(Hey, I don't know if I should be in this RP...there are too many people, way more than I'm comfortable with. I won't be able to keep up... D:)

Finchpaw pr.icked his ears toward the flurry of yowls and screeches to see rats pouring into the camp.
Finchpaw yowled as he lunged at a rat attacking Conifertail. K!lling it in a swift bite to the neck.He lunged with unsheathed claws towards the rats. * O *

Seeing his leader beset by rats, Sunpelt whirled around and leaped into the fray. sna.pping at the rats, he ran to help Pinestar.

Rivertail shouted the new apprentice's name. "Dewpelt! Dewpelt! Dewpelt!" He could still remember when he had gotten his medicine cat name. Smiling a little, he walked towards the two warriors who would accompany him to Pascal's.

Snowtail hissed, jumping in front of a rat trying to get in the nursery. She raked her claws across it's face, grimacing at the blood that sprayed from it's eye socket as it flailed and squirmed while it died in the snow.

When the rats flooded out, he ran like a blur to the medicine den. He hissed and batted the disgusting creatures away from his stashes. "Vermin!" He yowled.

" Wait up! " he called to Conifertail, throwing a pair of rats off his back. " I'll be right there! "

Sorrelpaw's eyes widened as she saw the rats emerged from the bush. Panicking, she ran up to the apprentices den, hiding cowardly.

Dewpelt's excitement turned to fear as the rats poured into camp. He began attacking them, trying hard to protect his Clan-mates.

In the face of battle, all of Sunpelt's shyness dissapeared. The very fiends that had haunted his dreams since many moons filled his vision, and he was not ready to see them destroy his life again. " D.ie! " he screeched.

(I don't know if you'd let me back in or something later if people are cut or something...I just don't like big RP's. ;m;)

Eyeing Snowtail, Finchpaw whirled around and bounded across the camp towards the nursery. Finchpaw made a swift leap at a huge rat nearing the nursery while raking his claws across its back. Dodging when it squealed and s.napped at him. Suddenly the rat made a quick snap to his shoulder, yowling in pain as bl.ood seeped from the wound

( oh... ok then. see you later. )

Pinestar shook the rats off of him, then attacked more. The number of rats was dwindling quickly, and he struggled to continue fighting. Suddenly, a rat sunk it's sharp fangs into his throat and he slipped off the Fallen Log, slamming head first onto the cold, hard ground.

Suddenly a huge shape hit Sunpelt from behind. Larger than the other rats, this one had huge fangs and a gleaming pelt. " Run! "Yowled the warrior, feeling his vision dim.

Snowtail told Finchpaw thank you for the help, and continued to attack the rats.

"Pinstar's in trouble!"
Finchpaw yowled in pain.
His wounds were burning, but he refused to feel anything but the numbness of his bites.

He hurt, Sunpelt realized. He still couldn't see, but at least he was alive. Groaning, the warrior pulled himself to his feet. Suddenly through the haze that obscured his vision he saw his leader laying on the ground, the snow around him stained red.

Rats were climbing up the log to the apprentices den. Sorrelpaw backed up into the den as the rats got closer to her. She found herself up against the wall, nowhere to run. The rats neared the apprentice. Looking for an exit, a rat had leaped onto her, biting and scratching her shoulder. The other rats followed the ring leader and attacked Sorrelpaw. Sorrelpaw yowled and shrieked with pain. Forgetting what her mentor has taught her about fighting she kicked and squirmed to get the rats off of her only to have little success.

pinefur droped the snow hair quikly. And fought the rats. (sorry I had no idea what was going on)

Pinestar's jaw twitched as foam and blood dripped from it. His neck had broken and he lay there dieing.
Snowtail yowled in terror, "No! Pinestar!" She darted over to the tom, tears running down her face.

" Pinestar! " a few leaps and the warrior was at his leaders side. " Hurry, get Rivertail! " he cried.

Dewpelt continued fighting, breathing heavily as the rats, injured and bloody, began leaving the camp.

Pinestar made odd gurgling noises and his legs twitched awkwardly as he felt his life draining away.

" N-no... this can't be... " this all was happening so suddenly, joy was turning to terror, pain and fear, and his leader lay before him, di.eing. Sunpelt didn't know what to do.

She saw pinestar dieing she started to run towards pinestar. then she got atacked by a very big rat. pinefur fought back and twisted the rats neck. She ran as fast as she could to pinestar. Then she stodd stairing at pinestar dieing and she began to mope abouve him. Say you did youre best.

" Maplepelt... " Sunpelt suddenly realised something was wrong. " Why are you smiling? "

Dewpelt hunched over Pinestar, "P-Pinestar! No! Please... d-don't go..."
Snowtail gritted her teeth, "Pinestar..." she whispered.

Oakfur walked over to snowtail Saying he died for his clan he died cause he cared. He'll be protecded in starclan And live amoungs us up there.

Desoriented, Sunpelt shook his head. did it matter? did anything else matter now that his leader lay di.eing before him? just moments before pinestar had been forgiving him, strong and kind, and now this?!

Pinestar awoke in StarClan, looking down at his Clan. He frowned, "Oh no..." he turned seeing a ginger tom looking at him, "Greetings, Pinestar."
Pinestar flicked his tail, "Firepelt, let me go... my Clan needs me," he meowed.
Firepelt shook his head, "You must wait, Pinestar. Your body must rest for several moments."

" and that makes you happy?! " Sunpelt hissed. " What's wrong with you!? "

Rivertail ran out, and in horror he saw his leader dieing. He began to shake and he ran back to his den. He quickly grabbed cobwebs, goldenrod, and burdock root. He brought them to the leader, and went back for wet moss. He quickly cleaned the best he could and applied pressure. "You're not losing a life, Pinestar!' he hissed. He chewed the goldenrod and burdock root into a poultice. The bleeding slowed, he applied the concoction. He trembled as he put on the cobwebs. Rivertail settled his tail on his leader comfortingly.

" not now... " the warrior muttered. " there's still a chance! get some cobwebs! " he yowled.

Rivertail choked when Pinestar's heartstoped. "He... he's gone."

The rats finally began to retreat. They rushed out of camp as if a dog had came.
Sorrelpaw's shoulder and flank bled hard. Exhausted, she walked down the log.

Finchpaw rasped his tongue over his scratches and bites for a few heartbeats then joinec over with his Clanmates as they sat, mourning the dying Pinestar.

Pinestar sighed, "Firepelt... I NEED to get back there..."
Firepelt rested his tail on the bicolored tom's shoulders, "Soon... very soon... you're almost ready."

(This is actually making me want to cry)

" what!? " Sunpelt shook. " b-but... how can that be? how? "

Rivertail turned away. /I wasn't fast enough... I failed him./ He bit his toungue, not wanting to look at Pinestar. His ears flattened, he was disappointed with himself, he didn't just fail him, he failed the clan.

Oakfurs face was then covered in teardrops she was in so much pain to see him there dead.

Pinestar felt StarClan pulling away from him, "Firepelt... I'll see you again, hopefully not for many moons..." he opened his eyes, laying in the camp. He coughed loudly, sitting up shakily. He rasped, "Are the rats... gone...?"

Conifertail bounded up to the gathering, shaking, traumatised and hurt. as the realisation hit her, her whiskers began to tremble. " pinestsar... no! this is my fault, i shouldn't have left... "

Dewpelt sniffled in sorrow, then looked at his leader sitting up, "P-Pinestar!" he squeaked.
Snowtail licked her brother's cheek, "Yes, they're gone..." she mewed.

" yes... " Conifertail wrapped har tail over Pinestar comfortingly. tears streamed down her muzzle. " yes, they're gone now, its alright. " she mewed.

Rivertail looked back, he was here again. He didn't believe in Starclan... but he thanked them anyways. "That they are, Pinestar... That they are."

She saw one of pinestars eyes open and heard him cough Oakfur was so happy to see pinestar breath

Pinestar coughed again, "Good... is anyone hurt badly?" he asked, sitting up straighter as he felt his strength returning.

Finchpaw gasped as he heard his leader rasp his words.
Tucking his paws under him he sighed deeply.
"They're gone..for now" He snarled. "Thank StarClan, you're back!" He meowed.

Sunpelt said nothing, he just stared at his leader, eyes filled with wonder and terror. he was ble.eding, and one of his eyes was a paler, milky color now, but he didn't seem to notice.

Sorrelpaw lumbered over to Pinestar, wondering if he was okay. "Pinestar! Are you okay?" She mewed.

Oakfur looked up and saw it snowing. and thanked starclan so much.

Turning to Rivertail, Conifertail mewed quickly, " he's alive, but he still needs treatment, and so do the warriors. can you do anything about it? " her eyes were large with unwept tears, but her voice was steady.

(Wow, Colors just derped.)

Rivertail sighed when Conifertail stated the obvious. "Of course I can. I /am/ the medicine cat." He said tartly. His tail flicked and he went to his den. Before entering, he said loudly, "All those who are wounded, please come. Severe cases first."

Pinestar sighed, looking at his Clan, "You all fought bravely, and I'm proud of you. Even in the face of my demise, you continued to protect the others," he dipped his head, "And for that, I am grateful."

shaking, Sunpelt got to his paws. he could only see with one eye, and his head pou.nded. suddenly, a wave of pain washed over him, and he collapsed unconcious at the medicine cat's paws.

Than she looked back down to the surface. She than started walking away. Her eyes geting very thin to tiny slits. She was very furious. She continu to walk but faster. But then she fell Uncontiuos.

Snowtail's muzzle had a cut on it, but other then that she was fine. She swiped the blood off of her face and mewed, "We'll have a tough leaf-bare with all of these rats around... hopefully they've learned their lesson."

" thank you... but... " Conifertail hesirated. " " Imsosorryitsmyfaultishoulhaveprotectedyou! " she gasped in one breath.

Sorrelpaw limped over to Rivertail. She sat down, making sure to reveal the deep flesh wounds on her shoulder and flank. She sat patiently and calm despite the matters.

( woah. this rp is pretty intense! )

Pinestar touched his nose to Conifertail's, "Don't get upset. It's too late to change the past," he meowed.

Rivertail was gathering honey and burdock root when Sunpelt collapsed in his den. His eyes widened and he set to work, plastering the warrior's leg with the new honey/burdock poultice. He studied the warrior, and noticed his eye. "Sunpelt, I know you like me, but please don't become me! (refering to his one blind eye)" He lapped som more poultice on his eye gently, and covered the wounds with cobwebs.

( yeah... i totally understand rivertail, and im not surprised. )

Snowtail nodded, going toward Maplepelt, "I'll help."
(brb, taking the dog out.)

Rivertail nodded to Maple(?), and procceded to aid the injured with moss, burdock, honey, and cobwebs in paw. Almost the whole camp was coated in rat and warrior blood. /Someone needs to clean this place./

Conifertail's eyes widened slightly. " i-i... thank you. " she managed.
Sunpelt slowly managed to open his good eye. " sorry, " he rasped. " i'm sorry to bother you like this. "

She let out a very soft meow knowing that no one was going to come to her aid. she tried to get up but she couldnt.

Snowtail nodded and followed the brown tom briskly.

"That was..so tiring.."
Finchpaw puffed, clambering over to the apprentices den quietly and heaving onto his soft bed of moss. Taking one last look at his clanmates cluttered around the Medicine den efore drifting to sleep.

Conifertail stood up slowly. she managed a shaky smile. " let's get you to the medicine den, " she mewed to her leader.

Rivertail was cleaning and applying when he realized he hadn't seen Rainsong in the line. "Sunpelt, you've never bothered me, so why would you now? ^^" He turned slowly, and she was bleeding out! He rushed to her and applied pressure to her leg. It was a while before it stopped. He gently dabbed her gaping wound and carefully applied the poultice. She was probably in shock and dizzy- when she woke, he'd give her some poppy seeds.

Dewpelt, with only a bite on his tail, decided to help Rivertail treat the Clan.
Pinestar stood up and breathed deeply, padding toward the nursery to check on the kits.

"Could someone get me some poppy seeds? Get lots, /everyone/ needs them!" Rivertail yowled.

Snowtail shrugged, "I dunno. We should probably get oak leaves, they make good bandages," she mewed, picking up some of the fallen leaves.

Oakfur felt her being draged she saw one of the queens draging her. She then noticed that she wasnt alone. but then she noticed her leg. she saw all the blood flow.

" heh, " Sunpelt smiled. " thank you for the help. " he pulled himself to his paws, stagering slightly. " i'll go see if there's anyone else in bad shape. " he slumped against the wall of the den, but picked himself up again and managed to pad outside.

Oakfur felt blood flow down her body. She noticed one of her ears missing.

Pinestar saw the kits, afraid, but not injured. He sighed in relief, then padded back into the center of the camp.

Rivertail flicked his tail on Dewpelt's ear playfully. "Congrats, Dewpelt. I apologize for the rats." He smirked. "Could you apply pressure to Oakfur's wounds? I'll be there shortly."

And saw her paw twisted. She knew she might have to be in the med cats den for awhile.

((I wont be able to post for a while, my mom took my 3ds for the rest of the Quarter at school... so I might try to post online at school :3))

" EVERYONE! " Conifertail called. " we need to get organized! someone should make sure we're all here and treated! i don't want any hurt cat lost. "

Dewpelt nodded, "Okay..." he obeyed Rivertail's commands and helped with Oakfur's wounds.

She mewed very softly to Riversong She wundered if she could here her. She was very glad that someone was helping her.

" Oakfur! " Sunpelt saw the hurt warrior. " that looks bad, " he mewed.

She felt dewpaw's paws on her body. she looked at dewpaw telling her thank you.

Snowtail cleared her throat, "So... Maplepelt, any she-cat's you've got your eyes on?" she mewed, looking at him with a sparkle in her eyes. She was only bored, and didn't know what else to talk about.

( huh... i think oakfur is the only one really badly hurt right now... or did i overlook something? )

She tried to lift her head but she just couldnt her eyes began to close. she tried to keep them open.

Rivertail nudged the passed out Rainsong. She was out cold. He looked around for capable warriors. "Conifertail, could you please bring Rainsong to my nest?" He applied cobwebs and went to Oakfur. He cleaned his wounds, and applied lots of poultice. Her ear was missing, and lots more. "Could you also bring Oakfur in?" He only had /one/ nest left for the injured.

Sorrelpaw limped away from the medicine cat den. "Rivertail's too busy." She distanced herself away from the crowd of cats. The blood on her wounds had hardened as she laid down.

She was still living she could tell but her heart was very slow.

Sunpelt staggered into the center of the camp. he was determined not to be weak, but the warrior felt his strength ebbing away with every step. " help... " he mewed weakly.

Lazily, Finchpaw padded out of the apprentice's den. Blinking the sleep from his eyes he yowled in triumpth (blehh :p)
"My first battle wounds!"
He meowed proudly.
He padded into the heart of the camp, hoping he could prove to be useful.

Snowtail flicked her tail, "Hm... I dunno... I guess I do like one tom... although I doubt he'd like me," she mewed, scooping up more leaves.

" I'm on it! " Conifertail quickly brought the two cats to Rivertail. She then glanced around, wondering where Pinestar was.

Her body was very warm. her eyes blinked one at rivertail. but then she closed them again.

Pinestar heard something entering the camp, he growled, the fur on his back bristling.
A gray fox-like creature entered the camp, looking around.

( man... Sunpelt... what have i done? i made you faint again... xD )

The white-and-gray she-cat felt her ears grow hot, "Er... um..." she stuttered.

" Pinestar? " Conifertail spotted her leader and ran over to join him.

Her heart beated even slower. she tried so hard to keep living.

Rivertail rushed to Sunpelt. "Sunpelt, you are staying in my den tonight. I need to watch your eye and leg." He grabbed the warrior and slumped him over his back. He slowly brought the golden cat to his den. "You need to ley off the mice." He teased to the weaken warrior. He layed Sunpelt down in a nest. "I'll be back when my work is done." He grabbed some poppy seeds and limped out. He distributed them, two a warrior.

Pinestar sighed in relief, "Greetings, Ar," he mewed.
Ar the raccoon nodded, "Hello meester Pinestar. Your keeties... they hurt. Vhat happeened?" he asked.
Pinestar huffed, "Rats... the little bast.ards attacked the Clan, and caused me to lose a life."

Sunpelt's ear twitched, but he was too tired to even answer.

" hello Pinestar, Ar. " Conifertail joined in. " What news? "

her heart at this point. felt like it was gone.. but she still felt it beating a little just a little

Finchpaw tasted the air for a moment. Bristling as he saw Pinestar talking to a strange greyish animal.
"I guess he's.. friendly?" Finchpaw mewed under his breath.

Ar sat down and wiped his muzzle with one of his paws, "Ah, hello Mees Conifertail. Meester Pinestar, Pascal ees taking food from joo ageen. He take mouse earlier. I try stop heem, but he no leesten to me," the raccoon said.

Sorrelpaw gazed around. Seeing that the crowd was dying down she hardly stood up and limped to the den where Rivertail spent his time in.

Rivertail returned to his den, he could feel something was wrong. (Med. cat senses are tingling!) When he entered the den, Oakfur was barely breathing. "Oakfur! Hold on!" He grabbed thyme and clotsfoot and gently rubbed them on Oakfur's muzzle. "Oakfur, you need to eat these." /You have to make it./

Snowtail flicked her tail over Maplepelt's muzzle, "Hey, we should take these leaves back to camp now," she meowed, changing the subject.

" Again?! " Conifertail exclaimed. " and now, with so many hurt, it'll be hard to stop him... "

She opened her muzzle a little and ate the things she was given.

" Oakfur, you need to eat these. " Rivertail's mew woke Sunpelt.
" What's wrong? " he asked blearily.

Pinestar sighed, "Pascal..."
Ar tilted his head, "The mudders, dey okie, yes?" he asked.

Snowtail smiled slightly, hoping the Clan was alright.

She felt scared now "were will i be going" Oakfur said

Dewpelt licked Oakfur's ear, "You'll be fine... just rest now, okay?"

Peering her head in she mewed, "Rivertail?" She made sure that her tone was gentle and sweet or he wouldn't help her. *Learned that the hard way...*

She then relaxed and shut her eyes for a well deserve nap. her body became very warm.

Rivertail stiffened when Oakfur asked where she would go. He didn't want the clan to know he struggled with his beliefs, being born a rougue... He made himself relax. "Oakfur... you... you would go home, to Starclan. Starclan is everything everyone says it is. It is a beautiful place," He said /I've never been.../ "Filled with those you love, and all the prey you'd ever need.... but I'm not letting you go there. Not now."

Aaaand ma phone is going to.. I'll read along as best I can- though. When's the next rp?

Pinestar nodded, "Yes, the queens are fine, so are the kits."
"Dat's gewd. Anything Ar can help veeth Meester Pinestar?" Ar asked, tilting his head.
Pinestar nodded, "Do you mind checking out where those rats were nesting? And, if you could, please make it to where they won't come back."
Ar nodded, "Yes Meester Pinestar. I do zat now," he replied before scampering off to check the rat's nests.

Oakfur began to cry. not in pain. but in love and thankfulness.

"Rivertail?" Rivertail turned to see Sorrelpaw. "Yes, Sorrelpaw? What can I help you with?"

Snowtail placed the oak leaves at Rivertail's paws, "Here you go!" she mewed.

Rivertail smiled at Snowtail and he curled his tail unintentionally. "Thankyou, Snowtail. These will really help with infections!"

Sorrelpaw stepped inside and showed Rivertail the injured side. "Can you treat this somehow?" She was scared. Could a medicine cat heal flesh wounds? *This is Rivertail, he can do anything!*

The she-cat grinned, "No problem Rivertail," she mewed.

She fell back to sleep. with a very low purr

Pinestar padded toward the others, not wanting to get in the way, but checking on his Clan-mates.

Rivertail's eyes widened a little when Sorreltail showed her flank. She wasn't in pain with such a wound. She was in serious shock. "Hold on, Sorrelpaw. I'll fix you up." He gathered nettle, more burdock, oak leaves and honey. He chewed them up and applied them to her side. Rivertail put his last cobwebs on her, and gave her two poppy seeds and thyme. "I want you to take my nest tonight, I need to keep watch on you as well." He studied his supplies. They were unbearably low, and it was leafbare. He swallowed his choking fear, maybe he could replinish them tomorrow.

"Of course Rainsong." He smiled at the silver queen. "Give them some thyme to calm them, and they should be alright." He pawed a few leaves of thyme to Rainsong.

WOAH! What I miss?! I'M SO SORRY! My mom took my 3ds away right out of my hand! I just got it back >:(

Ar returned to the camp, with blood on his muzzle, "Meester Pinestar, rats no bodder joo no more. I keel some, scare udders avay." He looked around, "Your keeties are hurt. I geet herbs for joo, okie?" He padded toward Rivertail, "Meester Reevertail, joo need herb, vhat joo need me to geet?"

( @Fantasy The Clan was attacked by rats, Dewpelt is now a warrior, and Ar is in the camp.)

Sorrelpaw nodded then limped over next to Rivertail's nest. She circled the nest several times then finally laid down. "Thanks Rivertail."

She woke up. Gasping for air. then she Tried to relax but. she couldnt breathe.

Pinestar flicked his tail, "My old friend, Firepelt, talked to me. Nothing much. He only told me to protect the Clan. And, that I'll be fine. Heh, I've still got eight lives left, so no worries."

Rivertail sighed in relief when Ar asked him what he needed. "Thank you Ar, it is much appreciated! Could you gather me some cobwebs and honey? I know how hard they are to find, if you can't get any... I understand." He smiled at the raccoon, he was very kind and helpful to the clan.

Rivertail whipped around and handed Oakfur more coltsfoot and juniper. "Hurry, eat this, it'll help you breathe."

Than oakfur gasging lowered a little.

Ar nodded, "Yes Meester Reevertail, I bring joo cobvebs and honey," he replied, before running out of camp to get the things the long-tailed tom had asked for.

Pinestar yawned, then looked up, seeing the sun setting, *It sure has been a long, tiring day... it's a good thing no warriors were kiIled... and that Ar was hear to help...*

Oakfur finally stoped gasping. and said very softly to riversong. "I hope you have great kits"

Ar returned shortly, carrying a chunk of honeycomb, "Here Meester Reevertail. I bring joo honey. Keets can have thees honeycomb."

Oakfur finally felt relaxed and happy.

Rivertail smiled warmly at Ar. "Thank you so much, Ar! This helps me so much." He took the comb and carried it carefully to the back of the den. "I'll bring it to them tomorrow. ^^"

Ar nodded, "Joo welcome Meester Reevertail. I help joo vhenever joo like. Meester Pinestar, I go back to peeg tree. Me brudder, Or, need food for zee mudders. Ve have keets coming zees New-leaf," he explained.
Pinestar smiled, "That's great, Ar! I bet they'll be great kits, have a nice night, Ar," he mewed, watching the raccoon leave the camp.

Sharpflash sat with Littleblossom in the corner of camp.
"Good thing they're just scratches, won't need any burdock, they don't look like they'll get infected, time will tell..." Littleblossom meowed

"Yes, time will tell, usually time will make it infected, but you know, time will tell." Sharpflash replied rather flatly.

Pinestar turned, seeing Sharpflash, he padded over to talk with her.

Oakfur looked around in the den looking at the other wounded cats.

She still felt the pain her twisted paw and her teared ear. Oakfur still couldnt breath well but tried her best to.

Oakfur looks at riversong. asks "Why are you in the entrance."

Foxtail walked around the camp looking at his injured fellow clan mates. *darn rats* He sighed and then dug his claws into the ground.

RAINSONG*

Sharpflash looked over and noticed Pinestar was padding over to them.

Rivertail's exaustion finally set in. His muscles burned and his paws were sore. He gently moved the herbs around to make a clearing to lay on. All of the nests were taken, even his. He wasn't going to be able to sleep heavily tonight. Oakfur wasn't very stable. He smiled gently at the cats around his den, and layed his head down. He sighed and let his body relax.

Foxtail walked into the warrior den to see if anyone who wasnt injured was there. "Helooooo?" he called out waiting for an answer.

Pinestar sat beside the dark she-cat, "Hey, Sharpflash... how are you?" he asked.

Oakfur looked at Rivertail. Telling him "im sorry that your den is taken over." Oakfur says in a light tone

(OH GOG SORRY I WASN'T HERE) Songpaw licked her scratches. *I hope they won't get infected....* She sat down in the apprentice den, and fell asleep.
Gladepaw watched his sister rest. *She got lots of cuts from those stupid rats...* Gladepaw was in the apprentice den during the attack. He wished he could've fought.

"oh hello maplepelt"foxtail said happily "so im guessing that you werent injured?" Foxtail walked deeper into the den, his gaze met maplepelts.

Whisperpaw quietly entered the medicine den. She noticed Rivertail laying exhausted on the ground, and decided not to bother him. *He needs rest.* She got cobwebs and started patching up wounds.

Snowtail entered the Warriors' den and lay down in her nest, curling her gray-blue tail over her bloody nose.

"Oh." Oakfur says to rainsong

Oakfur looked over at Whisperpaw and gave him a short greeting. then she went back to naping.

Snowtail glanced over at Maplepelt, staying quiet.

"yeah pretty much"foxtail said with a chuckle. He gave a toothy grin and sat onto the hard ground. *well at least i didnt get hurt too badly* Foxtails tail swished back and forth .

"Hello, Pinestar." Sharpflash meowed, looking at the scottish fold. "I'm alright, besides scratches,"

( @Dragoness Well, rats attacked the camp, Pinestar lost a life, practically everyone's hurt, and Ar got rid of all the rats, so they won't bother the Clan anymore.)

The bicolor tom smiled, "That's good. I'm glad you're alright," he mewed, brushing his tail over her back.

Snowtail stretched, watching as snow started falling thicker outside. She glanced at Maplepelt, then back outside.

"oh just my paws "he said showing the scratches to maplepelt. "Those nasty little rats tore the clan up pretty badly"foxtail said sadly. He couldnt help but stare at maplepelts limp arm.

Snowtail pric.ked her ears and stepped out of the Warriors' den.

Snowtail gently pawed at the kit, "Yeah, I'm fine. I've only got a little scratch on my muzzle, that's all."

Gladepaw exited the apprentice den and groomed himself. *The clan seemed to be getting back on its paws pretty quickly. That's good.*
Songpaw walked over to the medicine den to see if she could help. She shuddered slightly. *Too much blood...* Songpaw couldn't take the sight of bleeding wounds and the smell of the injury. She couldn't stay. Songpaw quickly left the den, ashamed that she couldn't help.

Foxtail tried not to wince at the pain."no actually i-it feels fine"he lied. Gritting his teeth at the pain.

Snowtail smiled warmly, "It's fine, you'll be able to go fight even badder things when you become an apprentice!" she meowed.

Littleblossom decided it was best the two be alone ( for whatever the reason :p )

"Yeah, I'm glad you're alright too... other than losing a life." She said. <to be completely honest> she thought

Foxtail laughed nervousley. "yeah maybe i should go do that now"he said nervousley as he fled the den. *danggit i didnt hide my pain well enough*

Snowtail jumped, "Oh... hey Maplepelt... and Silverkit, we do this all the time. A warrior should ALWAYS be willing to die for their Clan," she meowed.
Pinestar brushed against Sharpflash, "Well, I'm glad to see that you're okay," he meowed.

Whisperpaw sighed when she ran out of cobwebs. She silently walked out of the den (she never makes a sound when she walks) and went to Pinestar. "I heard you lost a life. Did Starclan tell you anything important? And I'm out of cobwebs. Could you send some cats to get more?"

"Want to go hunting?" Sharpflash offered, becoming awfully bored with sitting in camp.

Gladepaw watched his sister Songpaw exit the medicine den. *She doesn't like seeing blood, why did she go in?* He stood up and stretched.

Snowtail gently cuffed Maplepelt's ear, "Heh, I wasn't THAT scared."
Pinestar nodded, "Alright... and I didn't get any news from StarClan."

"StarClan hasn't said anything? They didn't say anything about the rat attack?" Shharpflash wondered. She got to her paws, making their pelts brush together again.

"Okay. Cobwebs won't be too hard to find." Whisperpaw murmured. She padded back to the medicine den to check on the injured.

Snowtail rolled her eyes, "You're such a mousebrain..." she muttered.
Pinestar shrugged, "Well, I suggest we stay in the camp, since it's moonrise now."

"Moonrise. I always hunt at moonrise, it makes me tired, so when I get back to camp, I can just go to sleep and skeep soundly." Sharpflash meowed. If you thought about it, it was a good idea.

Foxtail sat in the glistening snow tending to his beaten paws. The snow blanketed his fur. The camp was generally quiet.

Pinestar nodded, "Alright, I guess we'll go. Do you mind if Snowtail comes?"
Snowtail watched Maplepelt go, and she sighed. She had only been joking, and hadn't intended on making him leave.

Whisperpaw accepted the cobwebs with a soft 'Thank you' and patched up any other wounds.

Songpaw fled to the apprentice den and lay down, burying her face in her fur. What good was she when she couldn't stand blood? If she were in a battle and there was bloodshed, she wouldn't be able to fight.

Snowtail looked at Maplepelt, "Um... are you upset with me?"
Pinestar shook his head, "It's fine... come on, let's go through the exiting den. We'll get to the vole marsh quicker," he mewed before bounding off into the tunnel above them.

Sharpflash followed after Pinestar, leaping into the tunnel above them. She soon padded behind him.

Snowtail smiled, "Yay! Hey, wanna go bother Pascal's rabbits?" she mewed deviously.
Pinestar ran down the tunnel, "Bet you can't catch me!" he meowed to Sharpflash, speeding up.

Snowtail flicked her tail, "I laugh in the face of danger, HAHAHA!" she said, then entered the surrounding forest, "Come on, or are you too scared?" she teased.

"Oh really?" She meowed, smirking. Sharpflash sped up, the distance between her and Pinestar getting smaller

Snowtail ran toward Pascal's twoleg den, not waiting for Maplepelt to keep up.

Pinestar leaped through a hole above them, and into the field by Sun Lake where the abandoned holes were.

Snowtail stopped, looking back at Maplepelt, "Oh... I forgot about your leg," she mewed, padding toward him.

Snowtail flicked her tail, "Well, we should crawl under that hole in the fence," she mewed, then squeezed under the hole dug under the white picket fence.

( @Rainbow Pinestar lost a life, and everyone's hurt. Now Pinestar and Sharpflash are out hunting, and Maplepelt and Snowtail are getting into trouble.)

Snowtail smiled deviously at the brown tom, then skulked toward the rabbit pen silently.

Snowtail squeezed through an opening in the pen, and moved quietly toward the large 'box' the rabbits were sleeping in.

Snowtail padded toward the box, then chuckled quietly. She carefully pawed the hatch open, careful not to wake the bunnehs up.

Snowtail sunk her fangs into one's neck, hearing a satisfying snap as it's neck broke. "Get one, come on," she whispered to Maplepelt.
Pinestar, not seeing Sharpflash turned and gazed down the hole.

Sharpflash smirked and sprang, landing on Pinestar and pinning him down. "Ha! I got you."

Pinestar laughed and looked into the gray she-cat's eyes, feeling his ears grow warm.

Pascal growled, "The forest is MINE. You both are nothing but underfed fleabags!" he spat.
Snowtail smiled, "Well, if we're underfed, shouldn't we have these rabbits so we can get a bit bigger? Because you look like a pregnant she-cat, so I doubt you need these."

Sharpflash stared back down at Pinestar, seeming to be lost in his orange eyes

Snowtail snorted, struggling to hold back her laughter, "Oh, I'm just p!ssing myself with fear! Oh no! Vicious Pascal's gonna eat me!" she mewed in mock fear.

Pascal growled again, but Snowtail just shrugged, grabbed her rabbit and jumped over the large tom, "Go Maplepelt!" she mewed, her mouth full of the rabbit's fur, as she darted through the rabbit pen. Pascal screeched in anger and chased after her.

Pinestar gently pushed her off of him, and sat up, purring loudly. He twined his tail with hers, and looked up at the moon above them.

Snowtail ran toward the berry hedge, and, in one powerful leap, sprung over the fence and into the bushes, the smell of winter berries masking her scent.

(Well, I know I'm stupid. That's why I'm failing all of my classes... oh wait, no, that's because I'm always in the hospital. And I only let the folks in the Kewl Kids Klub join the RP.)

Sharpflash pressed close to Pinestar, and maybe the first time in a long while, she purred.

Pascal, out of breath because of his fatness, fell asleep in his yard. Snowtail couldn't help but laugh, "C'mon. Let's just leave him and take these back to the fresh-kiIl pile." Her white pelt was smeared with red streaks now from the berries.

Pinestar purred loudly, then mewed quietly, "Silverpelt sure is pretty at this time of night..."

"Yeah... I wonder if my mother is up there... She always wasn't the best cat..." Sharpflash meowed, looking up at all the shiny cat star spirits (dat wording though)

Snowtail laughed as well, "The fatso wouldn't have been able to catch up to us anyways," she chuckled.
Pinestar smiled at her, "I'm sure she is up there..."

The bicoloured tom gently prodded Sharpflash with a paw, "So... what do you wanna do now?" he asked.

Snowtail narrowed her eyes, putting on her serious face, "Because then they'd get suspiscious..." she whispered in a dark tone.

"Let's go Pick a fight with some cat that probably deserves it. Like... Pascal! He deserves it." She meowed, he eyes narrowing

Pinestar chuckled, swiping his tail across her back, "I've got a better idea, come on," he meowed, padding briskly toward the lake shore.

Snowtail chuckled, "Come on mousebrain, let's take these back to camp, then we can go get into more trouble," she meowed.

Snowtail flattened her ears (Lol, wut ears though.) "Er... well... it's um..." she looked down.
Pinestar led her to the Bridge and sat down at the edge of it. The lake looked as if the sky were there before them, and it was breathtaking.

(xD next she'll flick her "tail" )
Sharpflash sat beside Pinestar, looking down into the water. "Wow..."

Snowtail sighed, then looked at him, "Er... you..." she mumbled.
Pinestar smiled, "It's amazing, isn't it?" he meowed quietly.

Finchpaw suddenly bursts out of the camp entrance. Hold 3 plump mice in his jaws and swiftly dropping them on the fresh k.ill pile.
"I could go hunting with you if you like!" He purred at Dewpelt.
"I want to be the best hunter in the Clan!" :'3.

Littleblossom sat bordily in her nest, playing with the stub of her back leg(ummmm)
Sharpflash sighed a soft,peaceful sigh.

Snowtail smiled, "Hehe, yeah, why would you wanna be with," she mimicked Pascal's voice, "a mange-pelt, flea-bag, scrawny little forest cat like me?" she joked

Snowpelt laughed, seeing him laying face first in the snow.
Pinestar gently licked Sharpflash's ear.

Sharpflash turned her head to look at Pinestar.

Pinestar stood up and stretched, "We should head back to camp now, it's getting late."

"We probably should...." she meowed and got up. Sharpflash yawned.

Pinestar smiled and padded toward the tunnels. He leaped into the one they had came through earlier, and headed back to camp. He twined his tail with Sharpflash's.

Sharpflash smiled as they walked through the tunnel.

Pinestar and Sharpflash arrived in the camp, he meowed a good night to the she-cat, then went into his den to sleep.
