The little girl pounds her tiny fists against the unrelenting barrier, sobbing, tears slipping down her rosy cheeks.
"When the game's plug is pulled...she'll die with it."
Ralph envisions Vanellope suddenly sucked backward into the vortex, shrieking, her arms flailing, but all the little fingers catch is empty air. And then she is gone. The image both terrifies and haunts him.
Finally, Ralph speaks.
"You don't know that'll happen. The gamers could love her."

I don't think anyone expected to see a sloppily done sketch of Vanellope dying tonight. Sorry everyone.

^ You mean, "Disney movie novelizations at a higher level of vocabulary and comprehension than those junior novelizations they always print"? Where's the petition. I will forge fifty different signatures.

*Wreck-It Ralph spoilers below*
You know what always gets me? Ralph imagines Vanellope totally helpless, desperately afraid, shouting for help and pounding her fists against the barrier. But when the scenario actually comes to pass, what does she do? She puts her little hand on his, gives a bittersweet smile, and says, "It's okay, Ralph. Just go. Go without me."
feels.
