This really is a huge mess... why Nintendo, WHY? I never had any problems with Zip codes or anything, but I understand how you feel, it happened to me too (not with the eshop, but something else).

Well, Im not entirely sure if they will be on your SD card being that you have to export in order to view it on the SD, but then again, it COULD be save in extra memory. so it may be on your SD. theres a good chance. Even if it isnt you can always log back onto colors and re download your stuff unless you where preparing a lot of stuff to upload then i donno 0-0 you could try and call nintendo and let them know you accidentally deleted it. they may be able to save your ID or at least let you download everything youspent money on

Is that why?? Because of taxes? Dude, You've always been paying taxes through eshop. the only way you pay taxes is if you BUY something worth money. they aren't asking you to immediately pay taxes up front after putting in your code. Say if you bought colors 3d again for$ 5.99 plus tax would be $6.00 - $6.02 that's 1 - 3 cents extra. that's all tax is. (for eShop and my location at least.) either way, its usually under a dollar. o-o if you deleted your ID to avoid a couple of cents then that's crazy. taxes aren't a sort of bill that they're trying to get you to pay as soon as you enter your zip if that's what you mean. Only when you buy something that's worth money. Those taxes are not the same taxes you have to pay when you're grown up.

Also. If you backed up your colors 3D information by using the option on the home screen, then you're 100% good. you'll just need money to get colors again to restore data.

Do you have another ID? You could draw on Miiverse if you have, it can be pretty fun (I know Colors is better but at least you have something)
I updated my pokemon Y and it didn't say anything about Zipcodes or something... and I seriously don't know why I updated it cause it feels like nothing changed :S
