Also, Magic DOES exist, but only in small amounts. One may be able to breath elements if a dragon, or be psycic/telepathic if a gryphon. Leaders have the most powerful magics.

.Her eye was ripped straight out by a dragon, when she was younger. She never forgave it. She never opens that eye anymore, because it's only a gross pit now. XP Her right side is completely blind, but her hearing hasn't malfucntioned.
.She's quite weak to physical attacks, so she constantly abuses magic. She studies magic way too hard, and is high leveled in magic.
.Don't try to do sarcasm and jokes around her. She takes everything seriously.
.She was called dustytuff by other gryphons. She sis not appreciate that. At all.

The sun blazed over the bleak horizon, setting at last. The red haze it cast over the bare hills made them look as though they were covered in blood. Karro, realizing this, shuddered and shook herself. Sighing and sitting down, she carefully picked a can of food from her knapsack and, slowly, began eating. She had been traveling for what - months now? Years? Regardless, she hadn't seen the abondoned metropolis that had been rumored to be here, in this god forsaken desert. She lashed her tail as memories of her so-called friend flashed into her mind's eye. "They say the buildings are so high, the clouds have to go around them!" she'd said. Karro still remembered her fiercely glittering eyes. However, Karro had been skeptical even then, and she was almost positive now. Positive that all those rumors were a lie - she hadn't even seen a dragon, which were apparently now her species nemesis. Turning over the can, Karro inspected the strange symbols that ran over the front. Writing, she recalled. She had picked it up a day or two ago, and even the rust on the can seemed old, and seemed to remind all who looked at it of the beings that created it. Sighing, Karro finished the last of her food and stuffed the can in her knapsack just as the moon rose, looking over the bleak landscape like a dead eye. Karro got up and shivered from a passing chilly breeze.
It was time to get a move on.
