Aww, don't get frustrated and upset!! It takes time on here!! And your Elmo picture is great, I just liked it!! You didn't need a reference at all. Keep at it and don't give up!! Look at my gallery, in the beginning my stuff wasnt good at all!! I havent drawn in a while since NDS 3D came out because I have an iPhone so my stuff will never really be seen. My 2nd to last and 3rd to last paintings are my best ( at least I think so!! My 2nd to last one even got a comment from one if tve creators, Jetboy!!) anyway one took me 8 weeks to make and tbe other six weeks to make!! Check it out and you will see how I improved!! And trust me, on real paper I can't draw much more than a stick figure and on here I can't do anything but pattern type things. But I stuck with that ( and a lot of people don't like that kind of stuff on here) and as I got better at it, people who hate pattern art were praising me for my extremely hard, very time consuming and tedious work!!
