I see it as sign Rivertail gets from StarClan. Saying something like that a cat from AuroraClan will end up passing in a similar way that Flametail did.

Hmm... it kinda look like she/he is smileing. For me, it means that you can fall endless-ly into anything,or into nothing-less. Your dreams seem so real, but your life is blurred and that if you can fall endless-ly into your dreams... Your life will be better.

Aside from the obvi ones, I may as well give my "deep" answer.
The light is always there, so close, but you must first accept the dark, and that it'll always be there. Only then, may you fall into the cushioning hold of the light.
