(Dustin grabs the blade hard and manages to yank it out, cutting his hands as well.)
Dustin: "Ah... fahk you, Sage... I'm gonna wring your scrwany little neck for that... ugh..."
*stands shakily*
Sophos: "grrrr.... stand down, End-ling."
(they stand fighting again, punching and such.
Dustin is stronger than Sophos, but he's already badly injured and has slower reflexes right now. Sophos can take more hits and is fast and lands quick blows.
They fight and swear at each other viciously)

(Dustin pulls out his staff and smashes it across Sophos' face, his mouth gushes silver blood. Dustin beats Sophos back with the staff, producing large welts on him. Sophos has had enough. He draws in sunlight and unleashes a large blast of light, like solar beam. This blasts right through Dustin's chest. He falls over gasping. His lungs and heart are blasted away. He has a gaping hole in his chest. He closes his eyes and breathes no more.)

Sophos: *sigh* "I don't like what I did, but I don't regret it either. He breathes no more. His life force has faded. Leave his body. It's been known to happen that even after an End 'dies' if you touch them, they my suck out you life and soul. I would try to bury him. Leave him. Let nature take care of his remains."
(Sophos begins to walk to the castle, holding his broken arm which happened when Dustin hit him with the staff)

(They arrive at the castle. Sophos is bleeding still, drops of blood drip from his clothes from wounds underneath.)
Sophos: " ...ngh.... my arm..."
(It is bent at an odd angle and it looks like the bone is sticking out. Blood runs down his hand and drips onto the ground.
In the distance, vultures and carrion birds circle.)

(Sophos looks back at where Dustin's body is and then turns back and heads inside with the rest of them.

Dustin floats through nothingness)
Dustin: "Is this finally death? ...can I sleep?"
(A voice echos)
Voice: "Of course not. You would be re-made anyways, and locked away once again. Do you really want to be trapped there again?"
Dustin: "No... no I don't.... hey! Wait! Who are you?! ...where are you?!"
Voice: "Meheheheheh! Mahahaha!"
Dustin: "That voice... Shruikan?! But how?!"
Shruikan: "Pah! You know some of my cells are a part of you! I AM you as well! My cells are giving off energy to keep your brain from dying and I'm using them to talk to your consiousness, that's all. Now get up and live!"
Dustin: "Ah... I can't move... My life force has faded... I have no energy...."
Shruikan: "Than take the life around you! My cells can absorb ANY energy. Take it from the birds poking at you!"
Dustin: "...more kiIIing? ugh..."
Shruikan: "Hey. It's either you, or them. You higher on the food chain and they are just birds. They won't be missed. There are millions of birds out there. If you won't do it I will!"
(They birds poking at Dustin drop dead when they touch him, their life has been stolen.)
Dustin: *gasp* *huff* "...guh..!"
(The his heart and lungs have been healed, but that's it. There was not enough energy to patch up the hole or any other of his wounds. Dustin goes over to plants and takes the life from them, and slowly heals some wounds. It's not enough. He spies a village not far away. He staggers towards it, planning on being a life-vampire to it's residents.)

Sophos: "In time, I believe you will rule just fine. I have faith in you!" *smiles*

(meanwhile, Dustin walks into town he steals a large jacket from a clothes line to hide his wounds. He walks into a tavern. He sits at the bar, waiting for the bartender to come ask him what he wants)

Sophos: "Nothing for me."
*hugs Ezmel back with one arm*

Dustin: "I'll take a bottle of your finest red wine... ugh..."

Dustin: "mmm... thanks..."
(He holds the glass. He is thinking on what he should do next, when a drunk patron barges in the tavern)
Drunk guy: "Hey! Whatt da ya idiots think yer doin'? Throwin' me out like dat... I gonna burn this lousy place to the freakin' ground fer that! Don't ya know I am? I should have mah boys come over and beat ya'll up! I'm da sheriff here! You don't go messin' wif me and mah gang, ya hear?! Now, Ima gonna take some-a dis here whisky, all yer moneh, and dat babe over there and ya'll better not say a da.mned thing!" *pulls out knife*
(The frightened bar-goers say nothing. He starts to rob them.
Dustin looks over shoulder at the drunk fool, then turns back to his wine, still thinking things over. The drunk man notices Dustin's not-caring attitude and he doesn't like that at all.)
Drunk fool: "Hey! Little man! Aren't you a little young to be here? Whatever, no one disrespects me and gets away with it! Gimme ur cash!"
(Dustin says nothing he doesn't pay attention to the fool)
Drunk guy: "Hey! Listen to me when I speak to you! Gimme!"
(They guy grabsthe bottle of wine and drinks a bunch. The he spits some out on Dustin's back)

[Oh, no you didn't!
NO ONE WASTES WINE INFRONT OF DUSTIN AND LIVES!]

(Dustin finally turns around. He picks up his glass of wine and drinks it with one gulp. Because of his wounds, the wine leaks from his body, staining the jacket.
The drunk guy stares in disbelief.)
Drunk guy: "What da h,ell? What da fahk are ya?!"
(Dustin pushes the man over, taking his life energy at the same time. The man didn't deserve to live anymore. Dustin flips some gold coins on the bar and leaves, the man's soulless corpse on the tavern floor.)

Dustin:"I saved your bar..."
(He leaves. He still is badly wounded. He doesn't really want to take out his hunger on the village, however. He heads to the castle next.)

Sophos: *stands* "Someone must have ressurcted him! No! Gah! End-lings are so hard to kiII! ..urk... ow..... da.mmit..."
*holds his arm*
Sophos: "..ugh... I must stop him!"
*heads out of the room, limping slightly*

Sophos: "Yeah, you aren't even ruled by your own kind... ugh... I gotta stop that fiend!"

Dustin: "So I'm back here, huh?"
*looks up at the castle*
Shruikan: "I don't know why you left the village. Thee was plenty of life there. But here is just as good. Plenty of soldiers to devour."
Dustin: "....ugh... why must I be driven to keep doing this...."
Shruikan: "You know why. Don't hide it. You aren't human. You devour lower life forms. Just as human eat cattle, you eat humans and other beings. It is the natural order. Eat them."
Dustin: ".............."

Dustin: "So I am.... I am human, Shruikan, I-i can't...."
Shruikan: "Quit fooling yourself! You are no longer human! I am not human either!"
Dustin: "I am not you. Your cells infected me. I am still human. You are messing woth me."
Shruikan: "I cannot undo this! You are like this perminantely! If you won't sate yourself, then I will for you!"
(Shruikan takes control of Dustin. Dustin reaches towards the guard.
Sophos, who is on a rampart, sees Dustin. He summons a bow and shoots Dustin, causing him to fall down. The arrow of light stuck in his chest.)
Shruikan/Dustin: "Da.mned Sage... I'll get you... I'll get you all!"

(Dustin does a Mime act. He pretends he's trapped in a box. Then he stops.) [wtf?]
Sophos: "What a crazy fool..."
(He tries to shoot Dustin again, but the arrow, as soon as it is released, bounces off of invisible walls. Sophos is trapped in an invisible box. The arrow skams around, then hits Sophos. But it doesn't hurt him, that kind of energy doesn't hurt him at all.)
Sophos: "Ack! Wha?! *touches invisible walls* What is this?! *pounds the walls* "Da'mmit! No! I can't break it!"
Dustin: "Da'mn sraight. It can never be broken or escaped from! Just sit tight, Sage, as I empty out this stupid castle."
Sophos: "NOOO!" *pounds harder*

*Dustin regains control of himself from Shruikan*
Dustin: "hmpf. Why should I listen to you?! You never cared! No one ever cared! You're lousy, just like my parents!"
Shruikan: "......."
Dustin: "What are you wimpering about?! ...get outta my sight! Scram! I hate you humans."
Shruikan: "...but you... are... human...."
Dustin: "Does it really matter anymore?! I really can't tell the difference, I hate them all the same. Weak, spineless, greedy, fools. And you're a snobby Divine! *points at Izsme*
I hate you! And you! *points at trapped Sophos*
All of you! Bast.ards, everyone of you! You don't care! Ypu don't even TRY to understand! You suck!"
Sophos: ".....he.... really is just a kid, isn't he? Trapped, worse than me... time has passed him by. His body, nor his mind ages. He is... stuck. For 300 years, he's been stuck. He's been 'played with by Shruikan and possibly other Ends for such a long time.... no wonder he is like this.... I'm suprised he's kept his sanity..... Dustin....don't cry...."
Dustin: "I... I'm not crying!!! Y-you... don't get it! .....you jerk.... not look at what you made me done..... You're embarassing me.... waaaah!"
*breaks down crying*
(the invisible walls vanish, releasing Sophos)

Dustin: "Don't look down on me, you stupid Sage! S-stop it! I can't help what I am!"
*curls up against the castle wall*
Dustin: *sob* "Y-you... gah... just... leave me alone..."
Sophos: *talks to Izsme* "He really is just a kid.... he was just a human minding his own buisness when he got dragged into all of this.... All the friends he had.... are gone now, lost by time.... The world ages around him yet he doesn't anymore. A terrible fate, for a human. He tried to keep up with the times, but look at his clothes. He gave up trying to keep up. He is stuck. I don't think he'll hurt anyone. He's just.... sad. How could I be so oblivious to him? Sages are supposed to understand beings, but really doesn't seem that way...."
(He heads inside and grabs a blanket. He heads for Dustin)
