Frostedstar looked down from Ragged tree. *This is a great moment for Sylpha and Iceclan.*

(also, i started readind bluestar's prophecy ^-^) Sylpha watched Frostedstar to see what he had to say.

Frostedstar surveyed the familiar faces. His eyes fell upon Sylpha, then to Pinefur. "Cats of Iceclan," he began. (I don't know the exact 'ritual' words)

Sweetfur sat with her tail laying over her white paws. She pri.cked her ears, listening to the leader, but her gaze flitted around as she searched for Lightningstrike

(its good! im at the part where Bluepaw climbs the cliff with her new mentor again.) Sylpha still watched to see what he had to say. (idk what this announcement is about X3)

Mosskit ran over to sweetfur. "Thank you so much! im all better now! she happaly sat, and purred loudly enough for the whole clan to hear. "she glanced shyly at the ground. "you know how i fealt." she remarked sadly. (sonic is grounded and wont be on ok?)

(oh. but still, where is everyone else?)

she then was hushed by a nearby hiss, and watched the ceramony.

Frostedstar continued, "I have decided that Sylpha has proven herself worthy. She has shown much dedication to Iceclan, and may Starclan accept her as an apprentice." Frostedstar leapt down the tree and stood in front of Sylpha. "Sylpha, do you promise to be a loyal, dedicated, hard-working apprentice of Iceclan?" (She has to say "I do")

(this was just made, be patient. :)

Sweetfur put her tail on the kit's back, "Hey, at least you're okay. No need to worry about me."

"I do" (you now may kiss the bride XD)

(the kits stay off to the side with their mother so shoo to the nursery entrance. And I have my online status hidden.)

"bye!" mosskit called over her sholder as she scrambeled to her mother. she sat, guitly (sp?), and her wiskes twitched in am.use.ment

Frostedstar motioned Cheetahblaze front and center. "By naming apprentices, we show that Iceclan will survive and remain strong. Sylpha, from this day forth, you shall be known as Sylphapaw. Cheetahblaze, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Sylphapaw's mentor."

(cool! :D i wish it snowed here! we usuly have over 4 feet!)

(settings. You just press no, then if you want it on, press yes for both. And I'll just be Blaze for this part.)

Mosskit watched egerly. for one day, SHE would be there. she would be the best aprentice of them all! she thought proudly. She looked forward, watching regetingly. "i wish that was ME." she mumbeled softly.

'im so glad he is my mentor' Sylpha thought. ' he seems like he actually likes kittypets'

(Snowing here too. The most snow we've gotten is 5 feet.)

Sweetfur smiled, proud of the new apprentice. She always loved it when a new apprentice was named.

(ok) 'I wonder what happens next.' Sylpha thought.

(I wish it snowed here... but it's 80 degrees where I am :T )

(yeah. we have a blizzered every year, once we had 6 feet in some places! i was like, meh! i cant move! XD this year it hasnt snowed and stayed for a day yet, strange.)

Frostedstar toutched his nose to the top of Sylphapaw's head. "Toutch your nose to my shoulder." he whispered.

Pinefur watched the meeting serenely. He smiled at the small kittypet turned apprentice. He remembered his apprenticeship. Remembered him being a giddy kit, excited at every training. He chuckled silently to himself.

(i only have had one REAL winter before, thats because i lived in FL for most of my life. Winters there are like 70 oF)

(Yeah... I hate living in Florida ;n; )

Sylpha carefully touched her nose to Frostedstar's shoulder.

Mosskit eyed frostedstar in wonder. he was the best leader ever, she thought. and hopefully it stayed that way, she thought. she narrowed her eyes at her father, and spacision (sp) flooded over her. she would tell frostedstar her secrite, she thought. She refused to trust him, and had stayed away from him lately. he had seemed genuly hurt, but she was mad.

(*gasp* Does this mean Kestrel will be medicine cat apprentice?!?! : : : : D I hope!) Kestrel sat with her back straight while her brother fidgeted. "Will you sit stiil, please?" She asked quietly. (Jeez she has the patience of a saint!) " I'm bored! It's not MY ceremony, why should I care?" Skykit moaned. Kestrelkit sighed and looked back toward the ragged tree. She was also very excited about her apprenticeship someday, but she had patience. *Only a few more moons...* she thought. *Then I'll be a medicine cat apprentice!*

Frostedstar stepped back and Cheetahblaze took his place, gently touching his nose to his new apprentice's forehead.

(TAK! I live in Ohio too! *freaks out*)

( @MCRwolfeh WAT? it might seem like that at first, but you would be begging to go back to florida as cold as it is here. I think our back room is colder than our freezer.)

Mosskits pelt bristled, and she tackled skykit. she barreled him over, knocking the breath out of him. she smilled, pinning him down, her forepaws on his chest.

she sat up, trying to pay attension, smoothing the ruffles on her pelt. many clanmates eyed her crossly and she shuffled to her mother, eying her paws.

'maybe someday, I could be a leader of a clan! Then i could be called Sylphastar. Even though I wanted to be medicine cat, i could never be a clan leader if i took that path.' Sylpha thought

(Dude, I LOVE it up north! I never wanted to leave NYC! D: It just felt so much nicer there... I'm VERY sensitive to heat and sunlight, which is why I'm so darn pale :T )

Frostedstar nodded satisfied. "May Starclan guide your paws."

Pinefur looked around the assembled cats. Was the meeting over? He wouldn't budge out of respect for the new apprentices until it was. So he simply glanced at the others.

Sylpha was suddenly struck with pangs of saddness. 'if only Raffi was here to see this...' She thought.

(use astrics****** for thoughts. Yeah...I'm REALLY pale. If you take a pic of me with flash, I illuminate. XD)

mosskit tinkered with her tail, and let out a long sigh of bordom, laying on her back.

(me too, my skins so light, its almost white! hay a ryme! XD

Frostedstar boasted, "Sylphapaw! Sylphapaw!"

Sweetfur sat still, still looking around. She still couldn't find Lightningstrike.

( @MCR Really? i like 80 oF weather X3 I can get tan in 5 mins easy. Its just so cold here DX im in CO right now.)

She needed to tell frostedstar the secrete. (sp?) the accusion was far fetched, but she knew there wasnt something right about it. She shuffled her paws, thinking harder. Her clanmates were in danger. but that was her FATHER. no....no she couldnt. her head thrashed in confusion, and decided to tell frostedstar. for her clanmates.

Pinefur started chanting. "Sylphapaw! Sylphapaw!" He yowled the new apprentice's name over until the rest stopped chanting.

She would tell him after the ceramony. yes, she thought. yes, i will. she gazed upward at him, admiringly. she didnt join in on the chearing though. "Kittypet," she spat under her breath.

Lightningstrike huffed in the shadows, not wanting to join in a /kittypet's/ ceremony.

(ive got a good plot coming! :)

kittypets should go back to their meaningless lives and eat that stuiped slop, instead of eating our prey! they're to soft! mosskit thought. she narrowed her eyes at slyphia, and spat on the ground.

Sweetfur cheered along with the others, but was distracted by her own thoughts.

(oh no it wont, i just its like what happenes in the real books like every time)

Sylpha(paw) noticed Lighningstrike's pouting, and gave him a warm smile. Sylpha wanted him to like her.

(Sylpha still wont eat the prey XD she eats honey and food the humans give her across the river. In fact, she is a regular at some houses!)

Sweetfur finally caught the white tom's eye and smiled. She got up slowly and limped toward him, weaving through the crowd of cats.

Mosskit saw the action and grinned. stuiped kittypet is going after lightningpelt, she thought. she will learn, one way or another. if anyone, he likes sweetfur, she thought, glancing at her shyly.

Lightningstrike scoffed and wrinkled his nose in disgust when he saw the kittypet beaming in his direction.

Frostedstar nodded and dismissed the cats. Some gathered to congradulate the new mentor and apprentice, but others just sauntered off.

(Oh darnit, I need to leave. I'll be back later.)

(I'm really tan, it's like I'm not related to my sister. She's so pale.)
Skykit got up off the ground. He chanted Sylphapaw's name along with the others. When they stopped, he tackled Mosskit right back. "That's whatcha get!" He batted her with his paws, claws safely sheathed. "Rawr! No one gets the better of me! I'm gonna be leader someday, right after I get to be an apprentice!"

Kestrelkit yowled Sylphapaw's name until the shouts died down. Wrappimg her tail around her paws, she watched Sylphapaw. *She's so happy. I think she'll fit in. I'm glad.* Kestrelkit smiled at her kind thoughts.

Sylpha then thought of her friend that dissapeared from their alley... *I wonder what happened to her.*

Sweetfur approached Lightningstrike, and raised her tail in greeting.

Lightningstrike spotted Sweetfur and his twisted expression was swiftly replaced with a warmer one. "Hello Sweetfur." He looked at the kittypet apprentice and spat, "They make anyone an apprentice these days. I bet a patrol's worth of prey that Frostedstar would apprentice a badger if it crawled into camp and asked."

her eyes flashed, waiting for a retort. she stalked forward, getting in her face. she grinned mischeciously, and thrust her face forward, "Kittypet!"

(...Happy, she can't just do that. She's not tall enough. XD)

(oh i though sly was aprentice sized)

"well actually, that 'slop' is what the 'common' kittypets eat. /I/ was eating the same thing my person ate /every/ day. You, are even below those commoners because /you/ eat the same thing, except you eat /raw/ slop. its even worse. So you should think, before you speak, Peasant kit." With that, Sylpha turned around, flicked her tail in the rude kits face, and left to talk to Frostedstar.

(I'm super pale too... <XD I look like a porcilen (sp) doll)

Sunstripe glowered at the newly named Sylphapaw.... She couldn't find it within herself to forgive the cat for interupting the old deputy's funeral. She sought out other cats who felt the same- she didn't seem to be the only one.

Steamkit stared out into the clearing from the nursery, Frostedstar seemed to think it was a good idea to accept Sylphapaw, so he beamed at the new apprentice. She must've proved her worth!

She chuckled, "Yeah, but hey, Sylphapaw has potential. Just give her a chance," she mewed, then brushed her muzzle gently against his cheek.

Mosskit narrowed her eyes and angerly sat near lightningstripe. "I HATE kittypets!" she snarled, anger letting her shealth and unshealth her claws in the dirt.

Lightningstrike stood and excused himself. "I have to have a little chat with Frostedstar." he meowed over his shoulder. Meeting Frostedstar by Ragged tree, he hissed lightly, "I need to speak with you."

(Mosskit just got BURNED XD) Sylpha looked back and smirked a very lighningstrike-ish smirk.

(well actuly she didnt, kittypet slop isnt superior) mosskit returned the glance, following lightningstrike.

(PEASANT KIT! I AM DYING) Kestrelkit noticed Mosskit and newly apprenticed Sylphapaw talking heatedly. She padded over to them. "Um, what's wrong?" She asked in a sincerely polite manner.
Skykit walked over to Steamkit. "I'm BORED. Whaddaya wanna do?" He moaned, plopping himself on the ground.

(inca, I don't think ANY cat can contort their face quite like Lightningstrike. XD)

Sweetfur watched him go, then turned to lick her injured leg. Her tongue brushed over the circular scar where the bullet had entered her flesh, damaging tearing the muscle to shreds, all those moons ago.

She stuck her nose in the air. "your not much bigger, im almost an aprentice" she muttered. "i could beat her up anyday." she muttered quietly, her eyes like knives.

She looked at krestle kit. "i hate her!"

she contined following lightningstipe, quickening her pace.

Lightningstrike slowly twisted his head half around. "Get out of here /kit/." he hissed. His pupils became thin slivers (that's his trademark. XD)

Steamkit smirked at his brother. Without warning, he bowled Skykit over. "Surrender mouse!" Steamkit smiled widely. He didn't play fight often, but he felt excited after the ceremony.

Sweetfur lifted her head suddenly to sniff the air, then sneezed adowably.

"you hate her as much as i do," she said defiantly, walking once again

(lol i don't think a kit could beat up Sylpha, even if she is a kittypet. one of my cats was stressed and scratched me last august, i still have two scars!)

She eyed him, and snorted. "who came up with the outrageous idea anyway?" she then thought of the secrite. later, she prommised herslf.

She huffed loudly and stalked behind lightning stripe

Sweetfur lay down quietly and lay her tail over her nose, but ended up sneezing again.

"Do it." she scoffed. "im just like you."

"How dare you, puny squirrel! I'm not a mouse, I'm your worst NIGHTMARE!" He overpowered Steamkit, forcing him to the ground. "Gotcha!" He squealed with delight.

Kestrelkit looked at Mosskit trotting to follow Lightningstrike. *He's not in the mood to talk to kits. He never is.* She sighed, and turned to Sylphapaw. "She'll warm up to you eventually... I think you should try eating prey. It'll show that you're not gonna act like a kittypet anymore, so others will treat you more like a clan cat. Just try a bite of a mouse. It's not bad." Kestrelkit inclined her head toward the fresh-k'ill-pile.

she walked over to frostedstar.

Sylpha noticed Mosskit following Lighningstrike. *That stupi,d kit is going to get herself beat up!*

Mosskit growed loudly, and barred her teeth.

Sweetfur growled as she felt another sneeze coming on. She sat up and sneezed again, then swiped a paw over her face.

Lightningstrike swung around and whammed his paw as hard as he could (without fatalities) into the obnoxious kit. (GOT TO GO GUYS. CONTINUE TOMORROW. DO NOT RP WITHOUT ME OR YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR 1 RP)

"Your hardly more than a kit!" and with this she wipped around and stalked to her den. *just wait kittypet!* she thought, smiling.

"but prey is /grooossss/ i can't eat that. it even smells awful from here!"

Steamkit pushed his brother off as fast as his paws could manage, and laughed. He skitted away playfully to the medicine den, only to emerge with a ball of moss. "Ahaha! I have the thing you want most, nightmare cat, a star!"

And I think chats about ideas are a very smart choice to make-that way we can pace ourselves around your master plan.
