I'm going to be honest and say one of my favourite concepts/characters in the Zelda series is actually the Hero's Shade, it's just really cool? But kinda sad too?
Also, the flag in this is actually based on some flags I noticed just outside Castletown (at the large stairs) in TP. I thought the red and gold on them would fit this nicely, as he has gold armour with red detailing as the Hero's Shade.
