Oxymoronic title, isn't it? Sorry for the macabre drawing of Mason, I just got tired trying to doodle something funny for my own laughs but something keeps clicking in my brain to delete a drawing for its "imperfections" which kept happening over & over until the point I gave up & went dark on this one. My insanity: Trying to practice drawing on something over & over, expecting new progress but stuck in a mental loop of perfectionism & hyper-focusing. Better than no art. *shrugs*

I did & I really admire it, I'm starting to love fire-type characters since I've been thinking philosophy & research about the symbolism of fire for Tyrone's deconstructed pyromaniac nature & reasonable thoughts regarding it. I like to think of fire as the element of change like earth as the element of foundation. I deep think more than I actually draw art, but no-one just wants ideas. No, they want to see those ideas visually come to life on a book or image & that is one of main reasons I wanted to be an artist is to present the fictional inner universe within the mind to express thoughts & stories. It's easy for an artist to think a clear fictional image but it's tough to transcribe it completely to reality, well at least in my case with ADD.

If I may ask, are you autistic?
That would explain a lot of your behavior. (and unique way of thinking, might I add.)

Maybe very low levels but I don't know what are the exact symptons to be considered autistic or why I'm thought of being one. I just think too much about expectations, perfectionism, & time consumption.

Ahh. Well, low-level autism is called Asperger's syndrome, which I am diagnosed with. :P If you have it, you have uncanny attention to detail and a laser-like focus. You might want to achieve perfectionism because of your knowledge of each and every detail. I knew I could relate to your line of thinking somehow... just couldn't put my finger on it. x3 Oh, and although being an aspie means you're pretty much a genius, you're bound to have trouble communicating and interpreting facial expressions.
Any lf this ring a bell?

*of, not if See? I want to achieve perfectionism on my spelling and grammar. ._.))

Wow Reckless! This is AWESOME!! I love dark art, good job.

Ghnn.. I feel your pain about perfectionism. Sometimes I spend too much time on one little scene in an animation or artwork and it gets me in trouble.. >^> This is great though! Love all the small details and especially the red splotches. Fits with your title, like a menacing heroic.

Oh I'll definitely draw a gift for ya because I want to & you're a creative role model as my good friend. :D
I did one for Leaf, so why not for Jake D. & you as well? Such strange coincidence a few friends' birthday are close to each other but more parties! XD

@ Zach
Thanks! I was afraid to draw/post dark stuff like these & creep people out about me thinking "he likes dark & gritty stuff too"? Yeah, but not like all the time in my mind. I think "Yin Yang" when it comes to drawing art, sometimes light & other times dark depending on my mood you see? It's balance that I enjoy like sailing on a calm sea (yin) with strong winds (yang), going where I want to be without much trouble.

Yup! I draw lots of dark art, I w-even made a tag for mine! #ZQdark When I am sad or angry, I love so splash a bit of black and red on a page, it sortof calms me down.
