(making this up as I go XD)

(prologue I guess? I'm not doing chapters though)
*figuring out Japanese name for the brown she-cat*

Naomi crouched among the coniferous trees. Her belly just barely touched the frosted grass. She crouched behind some pric.kly bushes, aware of every movement around her, to the soft, flurrying snow landing on each branch, to the quiet nibbling a hare made up ahead. Naomi, hypnotized by the tranquility, took step towards her prey. The frozen grass crunched under her pad, and she heard the rabbit sqeaking and sprinting away into the deep forest. 'Ugh!' Naomi hissed as she chased away after the rabbit.

Naomi darted between the trees, her eyes on the mouth-watering, plump hare. The two raced until there was a cliff up ahead. When Naomi was just a fox-length away, the rabbit suddenly skidded to a halt at the edge of the cliff. It quickly altered its direction and speeded alongside the cliff. As Naomi turned as well, she noticed the rabbit kept looking over at the sky in the cliff's direction. As Naomi made a quick glance to see what the hare had, she gasped and stopped dead in her tracks.

There was a load rumbling, as if the earth was shaking. The cold wind tugged at her fur, as there was.... a small, blazing meteor coming from the clouds, and was soaring toward the earth! Bright, blue flames emitted from the falling object. It... didn't seem like a rock, more like a.... different shape. Something seemed very odd about it. Naomi narrowed her eyes, but couldn't quite make out what this thing was! It was a bit far away, and it aimed toward the Cedar trees beyond the cliff. Naomi started to sprint away from this. 'I need... to get back... to the tribe!' she panted.

It wasn't long before she heard a huge, defening 'bang' from far behind her. She tripped over a twig as her ears rung. She winced as she landed in the spi.ky grass. She felt the small pric.kles push against her brown pelt. What.... had happened? She thought. She slowly turned her head toward where the 'meteor' sounded like it had landed. Naomi rose and started back to where she had come from, now more curious than afraid.

The snow slowly started to turn from a little flurry, to a howling wind, blowing snow everywhere. As Naomi reached the cliff, the view shocked her. The 'meteor' had burned down many surrounding trees near it. All there was left of the forest was a few trees left standing, leaving a huge clearing of soil. In the center was a hole, probably the size of a large wolf or bear. Naomi found a rocky pathway down the cliff and cautiously went up to the hole. She bent over it and looked in wonder. 'How... is this possible?!' She gasped.

Inside this hole... was a cat. A purple cat with an odd light blue pattern on her ears, paws, belly, and tail. There was also a glowing, dark blue mark on her shoulder the shape of a cross or a sparkle or something... She lay deep in the hole, her eyes closed. She had dirt and scorched marks all over her, and Naomi hoped whoever she was, she wasn't dead. Naomi reached in and prodded her with a paw. 'A-are you.... ok...?'

(Now it goes more on to the 'mysterious purple cat's' perspective ((XDDD)) )

She slowly opened her dark blue eyes, blinking. She felt something prodding her back leg. She heard some muffled sounds, only catching 'ok' and some other noises. 'Ugh....' The purple and blue cat faintly growled. She used some of her remaining strength to turn her head toward the opening of the hole. She blinked her eyes a little more, to see a shocked brown tabby she-cat with pretty green eyes. 'Oh! You're alive! But... I don't understand! Who are you? How did you get here?! Oh wait... perhaps I should save the questions for later. You're obviously hurt, I shoud take you back to the tribe!' The brown she-cat mewed frantically. The purple cat, trembling, started to sit up. 'My... my name *cough* is...' For a heartbeat she stared off into space. Who was she? She... couldn't recall anything happening. But then it dawned on her. She sat up straighter, stronger. 'My name is Sapphire.'

^yah... that's it so far I suppose. :3 I have to think up of the rest of the story, but... What do you guys think so far? c:
