(ok, so Frostedstar talked to Sylpha already and she has to show she wants to be in the clan, so she had to dispose of her two-leg accessories and she will be helping in the nursery and with Morningfinch. Wait for me to start...)

Frostedstar sat in the fork of Split tree, staring into the river a few fox-lengths away. "I just need some time Talonstreak. I'll be ok. Don't worry about me." he looked up and weakly smiled to silverpelt. (It's about twilight)

Mosskit mewed, licking her forepaw, surveying the medicine cats den.

Morningfinch skulked in his den as usual. (XD His pic is wonderful Tak.)

boredom overwhelmed her, and she sighed hevaly. she pawed the ground. (i noticed the painting and ill try to be better this time)

She dragged herself out of the den, noticing that her leg felt somewhat better. she hobbled to morningfinch and sat down. "can u tell me a story?" she asked

Blizzardwing sat at the entrance of the camp, her heart heavy with sadness. She looked through the branches of the trees to the twilight sky. "I'll miss you, Talonstreak. You were an amazing mentor and deputy" she whispered.

Pinefur sat up in his den. He needed lots of time to get used to this... change. He sighed and walked out of his den. Walking to his usual spot next to the bare aspen, he curled his tail, thinking. He closed his eyes and is ears swiveled at the birds and other cats in camp.

Mosskit pulled out a burr that was tangled in her pelt. She then looked up hopefully.

Frostedstar, remembering he still needed to send another hunting patrol, leapt out of the tree and sauntered back to camp.

Cheetablaze yawned as he took in the light emitting(sp) from the stars. He looked up at Silverpelt, a glint in his eyes. "Pinefur's the new Deputy, huh?" He closed his eyes, remembering Talonstreak.

Her eyes shone with admireation and she looked around taking in the new scents. She had never been in the elders den before, and she excitedly sniffed around.

Sunstripe stepped out of the nursery and stretched. Twilight... the best time of day. She swivled her head slowly, observing the camp. It was unusually quiet. She yearned to explore the land once more, but she had so many lovely kits to care for. Sunstripe looked up at silverpelt, and silently thanked them for giving her a wonderful family.

Steampelt bounced out of the den after his mother. He was slower than his siblings, to say the least. When he reached his mama, he settled down next to her. "What are you looking at mom?"

Mosskit lost intreast, and listened to the nearby conversaition, waiting for the elder to start.

Kestrelkit padded into the medicine den. "Feeling better, Mosskit?" She went over to her sister and playfully tapped her on the nose with her paw. "I tried to get Skykit to come with me, but he didn't want to." She sat by Mosskit. "He wanted to play-fight with Rabbitkit. I don't know what they're doing right now. Hopefully they aren't getting too reckless." She giggled. "They're always like that. Playing and running around! Skykit can't wait to be apprenticed. Me, I wanna be a medicine cat. But you've always heard me talk about my dreams. What do you want to do when you grow up, Mosskit?"

MorningFinch was snoring soundly in the den. He was the only one there right now. Just how he liked it. He sneezed andnwoke himself up, and he grumbled. "Stupid herbs.... making me allergies act up..."

Frostedstar felt slightly better when the chilly air ruffled his long silvery fur. He began bounding through the forest and remembered all the good times he had with his elder friend.
"Frostedwhisker," he use to say, "one day, you and me will be fightin' side-by-side. I know you don't like fightin' much, but once ya fight by my side, I swear to Starclan you couldn't wish to be anywhere else in the whole forest."

(Oops, I was typing when Happy had Mosskit go to the elders. XXXX( Let's make Kestrel still go to Mosskit, wherever she is.)

Mosskit purred and rubbed her muzzle on her head. "Fine thank you. And i want to be Leader!" she anounced proudly, puffing out her chest.

Sunstripe looked down at Steamkit. "I'm looking at our ancestors, and thanking them for giving me a fulfilling life."

Steamkit looked around, his siblings were scattered about the camp. He didn't know what he wanted to be when he was apprenticed... Medicine cats were compassionate, warriors were strong and fast. He wanted it all- but it simply wasn't possible.

Cheetahblaze opened his eyes, the beautiful Silverpelt sky giving him a warm feeling of gratitude. "A pure-blood Clan, just how I like it." He chuckled to himself then stopped. "Wait. I can't say that." Cheetahblaze looked into the distance, in the direction of the twoleg nests. *I liked that life even though I was already a warrior.*

She heaved a hevey sigh. "i cant DO ANYTHING! My leg is messed up and im BORED!" (XD)

(kits usually call their parents by their actual names. And make sure you ALL read what everyone says :p)

Pinefur licked his jowls and stood up. It would do the clan no good to have a skulky deputy, and no matter how hard it would be, he'd try and be as great as TalonStreak once was.

With a heavy sigh, Blizzardwing stood. She thought about climbing up the large trees that surrounded the camp, but for the first time in a long while the thought did not appeal to her. She loved being high above tne ground, but it just didn't seem right to go off and sulk in a tree when the so much needed to be accomplished. *I am a warrior, not a kit* she thought as she forced herself to get moving.

She kicked the dirt unapreciatively. (sp) "Well, what are you doing today?" she asked.

"Sweetfur is really nice, " she said, not waiting for an awnser

*He always had something to laugh about...Talonstreak...I need some of that humor right now...* Frostedstar slowed and padded into camp. "Pinefur." he meowed as he spotted the white-and-brown cat.

MorningFinch stood up and wobbled into the twilight. He shook his head and huffed, sending shed fur twirling around his scruffy head. He hobbled over to the fresh k!ll and picked up a mouse that one of the warriors must've caught earlier. He lay down slowly and started tearing the mouse to little, swallowable bits.

Pinefur headed towards his leader. "Yes FrostedStar? Something needed done?" He tried not looking into his eyes, for fear of finding sadness, then feeling sorry again.

Mosskit, who was losing intest again, poked MorningFinch. "Can u tell me a story?" she then sat more comfortably in the sand and moved closer to Krestlekit. She washed her ears and face, but had no fun in it.

"It's okay, Mosskit. Your leg will get better. I'm sure of it." She looked at silverpelt. "Starclan won't leave you like this." Kestrelkit looked back at Mosskit. "If you wanna be leader, you gotta-" Just then, Skykit pounced on Kestrelkit. "Ambush!" He cried, batting her with tiny paws. "Skykit, please get off..." Kestrelkit mumbled. It took a few more minutes of pleading, but he eventually got off.

Rabbitkit pulled herself up from the nest she and her siblings shared. Seeing Talonstreak's body and all the occurences of that day had taken its toll, and the small she-cat was quiet and subdued for the first time in her short life. Her amber eyes were wide as they still seemed to see Talonstreak, and she looked for comfort in Steamkit and Sunstripe. She slunk up to them, and without a word pressed her head into her brother's shoulder. Rabbitkit was silent, her large ears pinned back against her head as she listened to Sunstripe and Steamkit talk. Her mind raced in circles. *I-i want to stop death...*

Frostedstar padded up to him and looked up slightly, to try and meet his eyes. (Pinefur's a bit taller than him.) "I'm going hunting. Would you like to join me?" Frostedstar twitched his whiskers as he waited.

MorningFinch lowered his ears and let a low growl escape. "Here's a story." He grumbled. "Once apon a time, there was a very annoying kit who was ripped to shreds by the most handsome cat in the world. Now scram!" He went back to chewing on his mouse.

Cheetahblaze sighed, it has been awhile since he's had any fun with the other Clanmates. "They just call me Cheeterface..." Rising to his paws the young warrior crept into the warriors den, softly touching the dirt ground.

Pinefur looked at Frostedstar and nodded. "Yes, that'd be... good." He smiled weakly and looked wistfully into the forest.

"Let's go then." Frostedstar trotted-quite happily-to the entrance and breathed in.

Mosskits pelt bristled and her eyes widened in alarm, and she burst out laughing. "bye morningfinch!" she turned her back and looked at skykit. "Well, what are you doing? Lets play a game!"

Pinefur caught a glimpse of movement from the corner of his eye and he turned his head to look. It was Steamkit. He smiled and nodded, then turned back to Frostedstar.

Pinefur followed his leader into the forest, wanting to take his mind off everything and just hunt. There was a brisk chill in the air, not freezing, but just enough to nip the ears and sting a little.

"wait....ill be back soon. Then we will play." shr decided. "i want to see something." she flicked her tail in a humory dismissal way and hobbled to cheetahblaze. "Whatcha doing?

Steamkit looked to his sister, she seemed distressed. He gave her an understanding look... Talonstreak's death had affected everything in the young kits' worlds.

Sunstripe studied her two kits. Her motherly attention revealed their sadness.

The mouse tasted bland as Blizzardwing bit into it. She felt the bones crack in her mouth, *I should probably go hunting* she thought.

Morningfinch mumbled again as he nommed the mouse. "Stupid kits... moms need to watch better... blah blah blah..." He huffed.

(Lovely story, Quad! XXXXD ) "Morningfinch, do you have more fleas? I can get them if you want." Kestrelkit said politely. She walked over to the fresh-k.ill pile and picked up another mouse. She nibbled it for a bit, waiting for Morningfinch's answer.

Cheetahblaze looked at the black-furred kit from the warm inside of the den. "Uh, nothing of the sort." Cheetahblaze felt a strong desire to be a kit again, no worries than to be free and have fun. *Now /those/ were the days.*

Morningfinch shook his rumpled head. "No. Don't touch me." (XD Oh Morning...) He finished his mouse and hobbled back to the med den.

Frostedstar cast a glance over his shoulder to Pinefur. He began trotting in the direction of the thunderpath. "Let's go to Mousefield."

Rabbitkit raised her head after a few moments and looked into her brother's eyes. They seemed stormy and sad, and full of confusion. Rabbitkit gave a small smile, her amber orbs reflecting her brother's emotions, then she gently turned to rest beside him. "Pinefur's the deputy now? He'll do a great job, I think." She glanced at Sunstripe. "The clan's so proud of him; isn't it great?"

She grinned and meowed loudly, "SOMETHINGS wrong." she smiled mischeviously and tilted her head sideways. "What is it? I bet i could help." she ponted out lingering on 'i' a bit.

Pinefur nods, although he really wanted to go to the river, he'd obey his leader and go where ever he liked. "So..." He said, just to break the silence as they trotted along.

She rubbed her flank on a nearby rock, as the slight breeze ruffled her pelt. The twilight shadows danced around and her eyes reflected the blazing sun, witch was on its way down.

Cheetahblaze rested near the den entrance, his ears ringing. "Nah, you're just a kit. As awesome and cool it is to be a kit, you probally can't help."

Frostedstar swished his tail on the grass, sending the crunchy brown leaves scuttling. "It should start snowing soon, Pinefur. We'll need to hunt while the going's still good."

Sunstripe smiled at her kits. "He will be one of the best deputies any clan could ask for. I'm sure of it." Steamkit smiled a little at Sunstripe, and yawned. He hadn't done much, but he felt drained.

she rolled her eyes. "Well YOUR just a warrior that is to scared to tell anyone your problem. come on." her whiskers twitched amusingly.

Blizzardwing trotted out of the camp. She wondered where to look first for scarce-prey. She knew that the mouse-field was the best place but the thought of crossing the thunderpath detered her. *I'll catch fish* she comprimised.

(i'm going to assume the river isnt frozen over :p )

Pinefur nods. "Luckily, the trout are in the river most of the year." He tryed to convince Frostedstar to let him go catch fish, no matter how cold the river was. Water was his element, even if that was strange for a cat. It was his strong point and he had to have great stamina to swim like he did.

A leaf upturned in the grass and landed near her side. she pawed at it lazaly, and then let her gaze fall back to cheetahblaze. She sat in an.tici.patio.n, almost jumping out of her position, but although struggling, held her place.

Kestrelkit sat by the fresh-k.ill pile, watching the sun head down. Without warning, she got up and headed to the nursury. She noticed how quiet and sad it was in there, but didn't know how to help. Sighing, she padded over to Rabbitkit and Steamkit. Laying down by them, she closed her eyes and thought about Talonstreak. *He's in Starclan now. I hope he's watching us, waiting to protect us from danger.*

Suddenly, Frostedstar stopped. "Maybe we should hunt in the forest. There's always prey in the fields, but in the forest, they'll hide when it gets too cold." He turned to Pinefur, looking to see his reaction.

Rabbitkit smiled at Sunstripe's words, and felt a twinge of pride for Pinefur, then fell over (bad balance) when Steamkit suddenly tensed into a yawn. She giggled slightly as she shook the dirt from her fur, and gently pushed her brother back before heading back to the family nest. She wanted to escape this disastorous day and have good dreams with her siblings.

Mosskit sniffed, catching the faintist trace of winter on its way. She observed the calm trees, as they swayed in the breeze. *what a nice evening* she thought.

Cheetahblaze laughed a little. "You really want to know?" He looked at her emerald eyes, full of excitment and wonder. *I miss those days.*

Pinefur eyes the leader. It was a sudden change of mind. Was he testing him? He nods. "Also a good choice."

Blizzardwing ran through the woods, the cool air rushing against her thick fur. The water would be horribly cold this time of year, but Blizzardwing ignored the thought. Trout is a good source of food for the clan. The sound of rushing water flooded into her ears. *Finally here!* she thought happily.

Steamkit smirked at his sister before following her to the nest. He settled in next to her, it would be nice to forget for a few hours...

Sunstripe watched three of her kits enter the den. She turned to the other three. "Come now kits, it's time to settle in!"

"YESSS!" She jumped from her position, upturning a pile of dry leaves. "I cant TAKE it!" She looked up with admireation and waited. She controled herself and slid back down. "carry on, " she said with athrority as FrostedStar did.

Frostedstar nodded and veered to the right, in the direction of Star oak. "There haven't been many patrols so there should still be plenty over this way..." Frostedstar meowed half to himself.

Sweetfur limped through the clan entrance, holding a mouthful of dried moss. She padded toward Morningfinch and asked him if he needed any ticks removed.

Mosskit stiffened, and helplessly caught the eye of a butterfly. She regularly would of instantly jumped on it, but stayed where she was, dedicated to help Chetahblaze.

Cheetahblaze smiled to himself. "Okay. A sunrise after I was made into a warrior I sort of... Wandered off. I came close to the twoleg nests. I thought I had it all to keep myself from danger."

(Inca, Sylpha is helping with elders/kits to prove she wants to be in the clan. She also got rid of her two-leg accessories)

Morningfinch squints and nods. "Stupid little buggers get in tight places." (Oh geeze. XD) He rolled onto his back. "Pick away."
Pinefur slinks next to Frostedstar. He watches him from the corner of his eye while walking in case he shows any sign of this being a test of his worthy.

Mosskit guestured for him to carry on. (dream its ok im just being a nudge)

Blizzardwing sat at the edge of the gushing river, ready to strike at the unsuspecting trout swimming just in front of her. It was abnormally large, and coukd easily feed two cats.

Sweetfur, after soaking the moss in mouse bile, hooked it onto a stick and searched through Morningfinch's soft belly fur. She found a tick and put the moss on it, causing the pest to evacuate the tom's pelt. She repeated this process on several more, and took the time to get fleas off of the elder as well.

(AWW BUT SYLPHA LIKES HER NECKLACE AND MOUSE, ITS SPECIAL TO HER! can she still keep them but just hide them somewhere? seriously they are like her pride and joy XD i guess its ok if not tho)

Frostedstar, happy with their location, deftly feinted into a cat's signature hunter's crouch. He listened, trying to detect the frantic scurrying of a mouse or vole.

Mosskit widened her eyes. "You went out all alone? lucky!" She bounced up and down lightly in her spot.

MorningFinch smiled to himself slightly as the pain subsided. He rolled back over onto his now tick-free belly and thanked Sweetfur. He licked his paw now, suddenly grumpy again. "Now leave me alone."

Sunstripe was getting a little flustered. "Come here Mosskit, Warmkit and Skykit! It is time to sleep."

Cheetahblaze sighed, "Then, right when I didn't expect it I was caught by a twoleg and its kit." He looked outside, staring at Silverpelt. "They put one of their twoleg accessories on me then took me to their nest."

Pinefur crouched low and slunk away from the leader, just so they wouldn't pounce on the same prey. As he continued, he heard a rustle and only a few feet from his hidden nose was a robin, pulling worms from the frosty earth. He licked his jowls and wiggled his shoulders. He hadn't had robin in a little while.

With a some-what skilled strike, Blizzardwing flung the heavy trout out of the water, trying desperately(sp?) to keep her balance on the edge of the slippery river bank.

(<( oh im not dream) "Sunstripe let me have a few minutes! Im HELPING him!" she said, rolling her eyes good natrally. She scratched her side and licked her ruffled pelt.

Skykit wandered around the camp. *There's nothing to DO!* He thought. Skykit almost said it out loud. He noticed Mosskit talking to Cheetahblaze. Curious, he started to walk over, trying to listen in.
Kestrelkit shuffled a little, and sneezed. "Hah. Do you think the bedding needs to be changed?" She mumbled to no one in particular. Kestrelkit daydreamed about healing others, being the best medicine cat ever. Soon she was asleep.

Sweetfur rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit. She disposed of the moss and then went to the fresh-kiIl pile. She picked up a vole and then lay alone to eat it.

She looked at him in amazement. "How did you escape!? Twolegs are so mousebrained!" She looked at her mother over her sholdre. (sp?!)

The trout thrashed ********* as Blizzardwing attempted to drag it away from the bank. (i'll brb, got to go eat)

Frostedstar slunk towards what he suspected to be a mouse and pinpointed it's position. He tensed his muscles, ready to pounce.

Lightningstrike stretched as he emerged from the warrior's den and strode to the fresh-k!ll pile and selected a plump sparrow. He stalked to his favorite spot and sat down to eat.

Suddenly, Pinefur pounced. He landed only inches away from the startled bird, who tried to flutter away. Pine leapt and twisted and clawed after it like a kit would a butterfly, and it was almost out of reach when he hooked it's scaled leg with an outsretched claw. He brought the thrashing bird down and gave it the k!lling bite before stashing it away for later when he came to collect it.

She quickly dodged a acourn that dislodged itself from the tree above her, and watched it land at her side, bounce a few times, and roll into the undergroth surrounding them.

Cheetahblaze looked down. "Well, the both of you won't believe it, but I escaped with the help of a kittypet named Winter Hazel." He looked away, ashamed of his actions.

Rbbitkit purred slightly at the warmth of Steamkit beside her, and was soon dragged down into a dream. (Dream --> )
She was sitting in a field of bright red flowers, and a hot breeze blew past, they rubbed against one another, creating a hissing noise. Rabbitkit's fur stood on end at the sound, and turned around, coming muzzle to muzzle with a cat that looked like Pinefur (her dream representation, I'm not power-playing, I promise!), but inverted colors. His red eyes blinked at her kindly, and his thick tail wrapped around her. Her muscles slackened slightly, and a smile smile lit up her face. "What's going on?" He blinked at her, leading her back into the woods, and soon she reconized the path. It was near the border of the clan territory, and as they walked, her miscolored father continued to smile, not speaking, as if his vocal chords were not working. Without warning, his muzzle jerked towards the sky, and he was struck to the ground, immobile. A group of translucent cats came around him out of nowhere, pushing Rabbitkit aside. Her wide eyes were locked onto the strange cats now dragging the dream-Pinefur into the air with them. "W-what's going on?!" She yowled, and one of the ghost-cats noticed. It floated down in front of her. "We are Starclan, and he is ours. The deputy is ours." And with that, they disappeared. (End dream)
Rabbitkit woke up with a jerk, eyes huge. Tears were at her eyes as she wildly searched for familiar faces. "P-pinefur shouldn't be deputy!" (not much time has passed. And that's not a prophecy, she's just scared for her dad. The first cat to die in her lifetime was the deputy, and now Pinefur is the deputy as well.)

Sylpha, after having a chat with the leader, felt very bad about what happened, he was so patient with her. She still didn't quite understand what happened to that sick cat, but she dropped the subject for now. Deciding she should prove she was actually good for something, she decided she should go help the medicine cat.

Sweetfur watched Lightningstrike, and, since she was bored, stood up and padded over to him, her vole in her mouth. She put it down and sat next to him, "Greeting, Lightningstrike," she meowed with a smile.

"What?! THATS what your ashamed of? i would depend on a kittypet to get out! i bet even frostedstar wasnt proud enough to except help from a kittypet!" She angerly shealthed and unshealthed her claws, bubling with anger at her clanmates.

(Lightningstrike pushed past the two cats)
Frostedstar waggled his rump and shot out. He gripped the soft brown mouse in his mouth and bit down, snapping it's spine. He then dug up a small hole in the dirt. *I'll get it later* He crouched back down and listened for more scurrying prey.

Lightningstrike, finished with his meal, swiped his tounge across his muzzle.

(Um, what does 'sp' mean?) Skykit stopped. Why did he have to go to sleep /now?/ He wanted to find out what Mosskit and Cheetahblaze were talking about. Sadly, he had no choice but to listen to Sunstripe. Skykit turned around and headed to the nursury, grumbling complaints all the way. He padded into the den and and found a space in the nest to snuggle against his siblings. Begrudgingly, he fell asleep.

Steamkit was restless, his eyes closed but his thoughts racing. He jumped from the strange state he was in when he heard his sister's voice. "Rabbitkit! Are you...alright?"

Sunstripe turned to the den when she heard rustling and Rabbitkit's cry. Worried and fearful, she surveyed the nest for thorns. "What happened Rabbitkit?"

Sylpha saw that Lighningstrike was there, and hid on intstinct. She did NOT want to be beat up again. instead, she just hid and listened to what they were saying.

Sweetfur still sat next to Lightningstrike, and awkwardly finished her meal as well. The fact that he hadn't responded to her made her feel embarrassed.

Pinefur tilted his head this way and that, swiveling his ears, listening to the forest speak. The trees, the grass, the birds high in the trees wouldn't do much for prey. He listened again. He could barely hear some of the clan, muffled through the leaves and bark and dirt. He slunk silently to another place to listen for more prey.

(Thorns are a mother's worst nightmare XD)

Mosskit recluctantly had to leave. "dont worry ill fix this. she padded away to the medicine cat. bye!" she sat next to sweetfur, and nodded in greeting.

They didn't seem to be talking much, Just a tense, awkward silence hung over them. ' Can you finish eating that filthy rodent so I can meet the medicine cat?!' she thought.

Cheetahblaze smiled. "And that's why they sometimes call me Cheeterface..." He quietly meowed as Mosskit left.

Rabbitkit looked at the worried cats, and slowly she was able to get her breath back. Tears fell down her muzzle as she blubbered. "P-pinefur g-got k!illed by S-starclan b-because h-he was the deputy, li-like Talon!!" Her claws were out as she tried to anchor herself to the waking world. "A-and everything-g was so scar-ry and the c-colors we-were wrong, and t-the f-flowers hissed a-at me...." Rabbitkit broke off into a pitiful whimper.

"How long do you think my leg will be messed up?" she asked, glancing at it angerly. she then cast a sideways glance at cheetahblaze, and she pawed the ground. (dream my kit sleeps in the med den)

Lightningstrike's eyes softened at Sweetfur. "Hello Sweetfur." he meowed. He laid (Holy p00p layed? lie? WHAAAAT?!) down and relaxed.

Frostedstar lifted his head over a tall section of grass, keeping his ears low. Smelling the sweet scent of honey, Frostedstar looked above him. The tree next to him had a beehive carved into it. *Maybe Sweetfur needs some...* Frostedstar dug his claws into the tree's bark and hoisted himself higher.

Sunstripe wrapped her tail around her kits. "It was just a dream dear, your father is safe..." She purred, but the thought of seeing what Rabbitkit saw made her tearful. "I promise.... he is safe, and so are you."

Sweetfur smiled at the two, "Hey Lightningstrike, how's the prey been running? Leaf bare's coming soon and all, so hopefully there'll still be plenty for the Clan," she meowed. Her attention then turned to Mosskit, "Hm...? Oh... well, it should take another quarter moon until it's fully healed."

(happy, I think she's ok to go back to the nursery. She's walking on it fine)

Sylpha then realized she was once again hiding from everyone, and it was wrong to be spying on them. she then sneaked away and made it look like she had just come from somewhere else. Trying to be nice and peppy, She said, "Hi guys! whacha doing?)

Pinefur stopped again. He head claws scraping on bark, that crackling sound. *Squirrels? I thought they'd be hibernating...* He shrugs and crouches, slinking towards the noise. He was about to pounce, but noticed that it was too big to be a squirrel. And too familiar. It was Frostedstar. He sighed, then snickered. "Frostedstar, I thought you were a squirrel. What're you doing?" He looks up at his leader shimmying up the tree.

Rabbitkit curled into Sunstripe, her sobbing muffled slightly in the queen's soft fur. Her breathing regained some form of normality as her mother's words brought comfort. She sighed slightly and shut her bright eyes, allowing herself to fall back into exhausted sleep beside her siblings. "I....wanna see....him tomorrow...." Rabbitkit slurred as she fell into unconciousness.

Lightningstrike frowned as he looked at Mosskit. *pesky kits...* he thought bitterly.

Frostedstar, reaching the hive, looked around for a small branch. He noticed one growing from the truck slightly higher than his location. Climbing up, he grasped the branch and cracked it off. *this'll do*

Blizzardwing wrestled with the large trout at the edge of the bank, unable to get her jaws around the fish's spine. It flopped against the ground and landed an effective blow against the she-cats face, causing her to slip partially into the bank. Blizzardwong yowled in anger as the frigid rushing water drenched her hindquarters.

(Oh. Thank you!) Kestrelkit looked at her sister. Rabbitkit was so frightened. Kestrelkit walked over to Rabbitkit and nuzzled her, trying to get her to calm down. "It's okay, Rabbitkit. Starclan wouldn't do that to Pinefur. He's gonna be fine. If you want, I can ask Sweetfur for some poppy seeds, or thyme." (So glad I have teh field guide!)

(oh and Sylpha still thinks the cats eat cat food as well as hunted food, so when she gets hungry shes in for a suprise!)

Sweetfur licked her twisted left leg, occassionally stopping to chew at a flea she'd find.

Looking down at Pinefur, Frostedstar spoke around the stick in his mouth. "Hoheh hor Heethur."

Lightningstrike grumbled to himself as the sort of cats he despised the most gathered around him.

Sweetfur glanced up at the new apprentice, "Oh, Lightningstrike and I are just having a little conversation, nothing much."

(Gtg for about 30-45 minutes.)

Pinefur nods and continues on his way. "Have fun with that. Yell if the bees start getting angry." He fades off into the grass, still watching for any prey.

Lightningstrike angrily got up and stalked off. *Why can't those kits just leave me alone? I don't need them to keep reminding me...*

Frostedstar shimmied down and pushed the stick into the hive entrance. He reached his paw up and started yanking a piece off the hive, gently enough not to anger the bees (even more), yet hard enough to pull it out of place.

Blizzardwing held on to the muddy bank, eyes glued on the now passive fish. Her fur was drenched and weighed her down making it nearly impossible to pull herself up. *Oh starclan help me!* she thought in panic as the freezing water pulled at her.

(I have to go as well. ^^' ) Rabbitkit looked at Kestrelkit in gratitude, shaking her head, then motioning for her quiet sister to lay beside her and Steamkit. "Th-anks...." She mumbled, giving in to her tired brain.

Lightningstrike decided he'd patrol the territory. *I'd do a much better job than those worthless cats. And I wouldn't bring home a /kittypet/.*

So far, the robin was the only sign of worthy prey so far. He'd seen a frog and some slugs, but those were terrible, and both may make your mouth foam. He shook his head at the thought, He had made that terrible mistake as a kit, eating toads was NOT fun at all.

He set out towards the river. *A cool drink and I'll get going.* Lightningstrike broke into a run.

Blizzardwing held her breath as she shimmied her way down the side of the bank, looking for a pawhold or something similiar to pull herself out with. Starclan forbid if anyone found her stuck in the river! The humiliation would be unbearable! Blizzardwing tested out various pawholds along the bank, none working so far.

Sylpha overheard LightningStrike, and was about to say something along the lines of *well excuse me, and here i was trying to be nice to you* but didn't. 'I want him to like me' she though.

Frostedstar ripped a nice-sized chunk out and scrunched his face, ready to bee stung (XD I just had to). After a few seconds of buzz-less silence, he opened his eyes. No bees. *What luck! They must've died from that quick coldness*

Spotting something at the bank, Lightningstrike pelted to it. As he was a tail-lenght from the sight, he erupted in laughter.

Pine headed back to his buried robin after seeing no sign of other prey. He carried the bird over to Frostedstar and waited patiently for him to finish. He sat in the cold grass and watched.

"Oh, H-hello Lightningstrike!" Blizzardwing struggled, faking a smile," I just decided to go for a swim, the water is lovely you know." She tried desperately to keep her face from turning bright red.

Frostedstar let the piece drop to the ground. He dug the whole hive out with care. Once he was finished, he dropped gracefully from the tree and landed on his paws. Frostedstar's front paw had sticky honey on most of it, huffing, he clamped his jaws around as many of the combs as he could.

"Having fun are we?" Lightningstrike meowed mockingly. "Then why don't you show me your swimming skills?"

Pinefur watched Frostedstar struggle. He mumbled through his robin, "Neeph 'elp wif dat?" He tilted his head and his whiskers curled forward quizzically.

"Why yes! I certainly will, but only if you join me. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I hogged all the fun!" Blizzardwing exaggerated, silently cursing starclan.

Unsure what to do, Sylpha just sat there waiting for the medicine cat to come back. Surely there was something for her to do! She didn't want the others to be right about her uselessness! She batted at her tail, wondering how she could help someone. (really, what could she do?)

Kestrelkit smiled comfortingly, and settled down in the place Rabbitkit suggested. She fell asleep, cozy next to her irreplaceable siblings.

Skykit was restless. He woke up several times, including when Rabbitkit had her nightmare. Getting up without disturbing the others, he snuck outside. (Skykit's really good at sneaking around and being stealthy : : : : P But is it too op?) Spotting Sylpha, he went up to her to meet the kittypet. "You must be the kittypet everyone talks about. So, how'd you even get here? Did your twoleg dump you here? Didja run away? How much do you know about fighting? Can you hunt? Where didja come from? Are ya gonna stay?" Skykit was buzzing with questions. "If you're staying, what're you gonna do? You look too prissy to do much. Do you believe in Starclan? I don't think you do. You're a kittypet, they don't know much about being a warrior. Are ya gonna be a warrior? Or maybe a medicine cat. Kestrelkit wants to be a medicine cat. I bet she'd be sad if she wasn't. I'd be /really angry/ if someone took my dreams away. Where are you gonna sleep? Are you gonna be an apprentice? I'm gonna. I wanna be an apprentice now. I can't wait this long!" He abruptly stopped, waiting for answers.

"Oh, but I wouldn't be able to observe properly! I'll stay on dry land and you show me how you swim." Lightningstrike insisted.

Frostedstar nodded at his deputy. He padded to the spot where he left the mouse and unearthed it.

Pinefur walks over to the mouse and picks it up by its spindly little tail. He looks at Frostedstar before heading to camp with the bird and the mouse. He sneezes a few times before he gets to camp due to the robin's feathers getting sucked inside his nose.

(Whoo! Shad! Now THAT'S the way to be a nosey kit! XD)

"Oh, Lightningstrike! I would assume that such a big-strong warrior like you wouldn't need to observe /me/ in order to know how to swim!" Blizzardwing laughed bitterly, unable to feel her backlegs.

Frostedstar padded back to camp, following behind Pinefur. He made a beeline (XD obce again, I had to. XD) for the medicine cat den and set the combs down. He licked the sweet liquid from his muzzle and went back to the main camp.

Lightning crouched in front of Blizzardwing and hissed, "I /insist/."

Pinefur walked over to the fresh k!ll and set down the two animals. He licked the fur, feathers and blood off his jowls and lay down by his aspen. He started grooming his soft pelt, getting out grass seed and burrs and other plant debris.

Frostedstar yawned and stretched his legs. He sat down and began licking his honied paw. *Huh. I remember a she-cat named Honeypaw...I also remember that fox...*

Pinefur sat there, staring out into the forest. "Hmmm...." He wondered if there was anything beyond this one forest, if they were all the same, or maybe entirely different forests.

"Well, i fell off of my owners wheeled animal, and a few cats from your clan found me. No, my person (she doesn't use the word twolegs because she had never heard the term until recently, if thats ok) didn't dump me here, shes the best person a cat could have. I know a little about fighting, because my momma taught me how to defend myself if i need it. Hunt? no, i will NOT damage my claws on filthy wild rodents and birds. I came from the biggest person den you could ever imagine, they even had a warm, clean pond you could swim in (pool. this is why Sylpha knows how to swim) Yes, i think im staying, unless my owner finds me. IF im staying, im going to help the clan through the leaf-bare, as i know some things you wild-born might not. Starclan? Isnt that where you sent that sick cat? I might be as medicine cat, bit im not sure. Yes, i think im already an apprentice. I don't know where im gonna sleep, i guess i should ask the leader about that."

Frostedstar noticed Sylpha talking to a kit, so he went to investigate. "Hello. _____kit, shouldn't you be in the nursery with Sunstripe?" (He scampers off. I know they're not here so p00p)

Lightningstrike just tilted his head up and smirked.

Frostedstar thought for a moment. "Well, you're not an apprentice yet, so you'd have to sleep in the nursery until you've been apprenticed. It would only be fair. You're not a 'paw' yet."

Lightningstrike stood and walked to pick up the trout. "Here. I'll help you."

"A paw? whats that?"

"I don't mind sleeping in the nursery, the kits are fun. plus, they arent as opinionated about me being a /'kittypet'/."

Cheetahblaze exited the den, not feeling tired anywho. He looked up at Silverpelt once more before continuing his way to the entrance. He pushed his way through the ferns that blocked his way until he made it out of camp. Scanning the area he looked around for an easily climbable tree. *The Split tree, of course!*

Blizzardwing hissed, she felt like she had been reduced to a kit. "Just help me out," she growled weakly.

Frostedstar explained patiently, "It's the name the leader gives to a kit who is at least 6 moons old. We replace the "kit" part of their name with "paw" to symbolize the path their paws are now on. You see, when I was born, my mother named me Frostedkit. Then, I became Frostedpaw. And after a long time of hard work, I recieved my warrior name, Frostedwhisker."

Lightningstrike turned and looked at her. His face became colder than the river. "What have you ever done for me?" he growled.

"oh, well i suppose moons is about the same as months(< dats ok right?) so that means I am about 7 moons. What does the medicine cat get instead of a warior name?"

Cheetahblaze ran as quietly as he could to the Split Tree. "Wait. I don't have claws. What if one of them see me? They don't know I don't have any" He paused for a few seconds, his mind going blank. "What if Lightningstrike sees me?!" The golden tom took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "Calm down, Cheetahblaze. Barely anycat comes here now."

(Sounds like Blizzardwing gonna drown! 0-0)

Frostedstar sat and curled his long fluffy tail around his paws and contined, "Well, the medicine cat gives their apperentice their name. I think Starclan tells them. I honestly don't know. It's a special ceremony that only medicine cats and Starclan know of."

"Nothing," she admitted, glancing away for a second, "But I'm sure I could be of use to you later. Perhaps a deal could be arranged?" Blizzardwing finished bitterly, she was upset to have to resort to such a tactic. If only she had crossed the thunderpath instead!

(Sylpha knows Cheetablaze doesn't have any claws, you told her. Shes not telling anyone though.)

"Interesting, but whats Starclan? Isnt that where you took that cat to? Is it some kind of special clan?"

Lightningstrike's mouth curled and his pupils became tiny slits. "Alright. How about, I help you out, and in return, you owe me a favor. I will use this favor at anytime, and if you deny my request...Let's just say you would've wished I left you in the river."

(Now Sylpha is the nosey kit XD maybe it rubbed of on her!)

The words stung Blizzardwing's ears. "Fine," she hissed, her entire body going numb. Part of her wondered if she would freeze to death before he could even use his favor.

Frostedstar nodded. "It /is/ a special clan. It's a clan that you can see every time the moon rises. They rest in the stars. Each one of those stars is one of our warrior ancestors. When a cat dies, they go to Starclan. They help guide us. There is a special tree medicine cats and leaders use to share tongues with Starclan. The new leaders go there to recieve their 9 lives and their name. You see, I was Frostedwhisker, deputy of Iceclan, but then I had to take on the role of leader. So I went to Star oak, and I became Frostedstar."

"woooowwww! Sounds really special. but what do you mean by die?" (Sylpha knows nothing about dying.)

Lightningstreak padded over to her and crouched down; putting his muzzle next to her ear and quietly hissed, "May the dark forest consume your soul if you break this promise." He grasped Blizzardwing's scruff and pulled her out as easily as if she were a kit.

Cheetahblaze looked all around the tree, hoping to find something, /anything/ to help him get up the tree. "Great, nothing." He sighed, "What use am I if I can't even claw a cat?"

Sighing, Frostedstar continued, "Death is when a cat or any other animal's time comes. Their soul is taken from you, and all that is left is your body, and memories others keep of you...But sometimes, cats are taken too early. Such as a kit. Sometimes, there are very evil cats. When those cats die, they do not get to go to Starclan. Those cats go to a horrible lonely place we call the dark forest. Those cats haunt the dreams of good cats and influence bad cats to do very bad things."

Blizzardwing shivered, but only partly from the cold. Lightningstrike's words chilled her more than the river ever could. "Yes, Lightningstrike," she whispered as she crouched down and tried to lick herself dry.

Cheetahblaze thought hard, then an idea suddenly came to him. *Wait. /Jumping!/ That's it!* He happily got up, haunching his hind leg muscles. "Jumping may not help me in battle, but boy is it fun!"

(Sylpha's expression O-O) "Is that what happened to him? Thats awful! who would do such a thing to a cat?! No wonder that cat said i didn't respect the dead! I didnt know what was wrong with him-"

Lightningstrike grinned an evil grin. He picked Blizzardwing up by the scruff and hissed, "I can't have you dying now can I?" He moved as fast as he could back to the camp

Frostedstar looked blankly at her. "Sometimes cats die without warning. Weather it be from sickness or battle, or even murd3r...They always have a special place in Starclan." He stood and stalked off into his den.

Sylpha called into Frostedstar's den, "thanks for explaining stuff to me Frostedstar."

Cheetahblaze srang into the air, attempting to grab onto a branch. He fell with a thud. "Ow... Okay, again." He repeatiatly continued jumping, each attempt failing.

Blizzardwing growled, falling in the river and making a deal with Lightningstrike was bad enough but now she was about to be carried into camp. Although she hated the thought, her body felt like it had been filled with lead. She simply wanted the day to be over with.

Sylpha was thinking about what was said to her, when she saw a cat running with somthing soggy in its mouth. 'What is that?'

(mkay, i'll be leaving soon enough. My fam runs waaay behind schedual.)

Sylpha saw that it was LightningStrike, and he was carrying a clan member. "A CLAN MEMBER IS DEAD! FROSTED STAR, HURRY!" (parinoid XD)

Skykit trotted off, but returned. He crept up and hid so as to avoid detection. Skykit listened in on Sylpha and Frostedstar's conversation.
Kestrelkit woke with a start. Her sweet and lovely dream had turned quickly into a nightmare. It was terrible. All of her happiness was taken. Her family was taken. She was left all alone in the dark. Kestrelkit was afraid. She cried silently in the night. (sorry about having another chara have a bad dream. I kinda just felt like it.)

mosskit awoke, stunned to see her suroundings. Then everything hit her. she was in the medicines cat den. she lowered her eyes to her leg, and licked it.

(for those who weren't here before, Sylpha became paranoid, ThunderStrike almost let Blizzardwing drown, and Cheetahblaze was trying to climb a tree)

what it is I just got home and literally just saw it!

I don't know. It all just depends. But that rule for missing 3 RP's in a row without making rolecall (posting a comment telling why you won't be there or just RPing), then you will be given a warning, then the next RP, if you still aren't there, you will be removed. And I haven't even thought about it.

wait..... ok so this is my first time..... im really sorry i had to go visit my family and couldnt go on my 3ds sorry tak it will not happen again... also when is the next clan rp?

Will someone take a person's chara if they are booted? I know I can't 'cause I have 2 charas, but I was wondering. For example, if someone like, say, Passion, was booted, would some other person be able to take Drizzlepaw?
And if someone is booted, does that also mean another person who volunteered beforehand but didn't get in could potentially be brought in to replace said cut person?

shrugs. dont think about that. look at the bright side. no one wants to be booted.

(another question, what time do you think future rps on weekdays will be started? Most of us probably go to school. [doesn't matter what time for me, i go to virtual school.] like at 3 or 4?)

(I think they should start at 4 or so on weekdays. Maybe at 5. I'm usually very busy, on mondays, tuesdays, every other wednesday, and often on weekend mornings. I think I'd be able to manage those without getting booted. Hopefully.)

(Events for me on Monday and Tuesday end at 6 or so. Wednesday stuff ends at 9-ten pm. Thursdays and Fridays are completely free. Saturday and Sunday events typically end after noon. They're different.)
