As Frostedstar opened his eyes from his warm nap, he realized he had slept longer than expected. He drowsily crawled out of the tree roots and observed the camp. *Better find Talonstreak* Frostedstar thought to himself. He stalked to the warriors' den and softly called to his deputy, "Talonstreak?"

Not hearing a reply, he called again, slightly louder, "Talonstreak?" Nothing. *He must've gotten an early start at hunting.* Frostedstar concluded. Turning around, Frostedstar padded to Ragged tree and hopped onto the bottom branch.

(In the camp. They all just had beddie bye time. XD It's very early dawn)

The leopard-spotted warrior had been resting in the warrior den, sleeping like a kit.

Frostedstar noticed the camp was begining to stur. *I'll wait 'till they're all out to give duties.*

Mosskit burst out of the nursury skidding to a halt underneath frostedstar. (btw i made a ref for shadowstorm, a queen) "hi frostedstar!" she mewed. Shadowstorm called annoyingly, and mosskit sent a faint reply over her back as she scrambled tword the sound.

(Don't choose Cheetablaze! He'll teach them to be lazy. XD)

His name was Cheetablaze, named for his remarkable speed and his spotted pelt. "Cheeterface..." He mumbled softly.

Shadowstorm and Mosskit reapeared out of the nursury, Shadowstorm licking her single kit. She sighed. "ill never find a new mate! How will i have more kits!"

Rabbitkit had been awake since sun-up, but as usual was forced to keep quiet until her siblings awoke. Her unusually large paws twitched impatiently, and yet another sigh came from her mouth. *I'm going to die of boredom in a few minutes.* With a small movement, Rabbitkit rolled over and out of the mossy nest, landing on the dusty ground. The reddish kit stood and padded towards the den's exit, flicking her tail-stump. *I wonder if the elders are up yet!* She almost tripped over her large paws, and with a grin hopped into the elders den.

Pinefur yawned and stretched. He walked outside into the sunlight and squinted until his pupils shrunk. "Such a nice day."

She ploped on the ground listening to mosskits demands for food. "I wanna play with Streamkit!" Mosskit mewed.

Mosskit took the only mouse from the pile, teetering from its weight, and padded back to shadowstorm.

MorningFinch grumbled and shifted around in his sleep. He opened his eyes as one of his many fleas bit his behind. "Ow! Someone pull this foul creature from my ar.se!" He hissed and spat in distaste.

"Huh? What?" Cheetablaze woke with a start, squinting as the suns blinding light had entered the den. "Cheeterface... Meh." He rose to his paws, careful not to wake the other warriors.

(Thunderheart and Pinefur? Mentors? Thunderheart-Riverpaw, Pinefur-Drizzlepaw?)

As he exited the den, Cheetablaze walked out into the suns light for warmth.

mosskit scurried over to the nursury, sniffing around the entrence.

Sweetfur stretched her forelegs, hearing slight popping in her shoulder joints where she had been injured as an apprentice, which caused her to become a medicine cat instead of a warrior. She blinked her green eyes and gazed around the camp, her tail tip twitching slightly.

Sylpha sat in her dark pet carrier. She suspected her owner was taking her to that wretched place again. The place where strange people poke her with needles and prod her with covered fingers. the only thing she was enjoying was the golden sunlight stream.ing through the bars of her little prison. she also liked watching bright green trees go by through the window. soon, she got bored and decided to take a nap...

Kestrelkit yawned and shuffled over, almost squishing Skyclaw. "Watch it!" He grumbled. "Sorry, Skykit..." Kestrelkit murmured sleepily. Skykit got up from underneath his sister and shook himself. "Hey, where'd Rabbitkit go?" He trotted out of the nursery and sat in the middle of camp. Yawning again, Kestrelkit stood up and followed.

MorningFinch nods stiffly. "Finally some cat has a squick of decency. Get to it!" He watches Thunder(right?).

Lightningstrike apeared through the clan entrance, obviously tired from his night watch. "Why don't you get some rest, Lightningstrike?" he suggested. Lightningstrike just nodded and went into the warrior's den.

mosskit lept on top of them in delight and they wreastled playfully.

Sweetfur padded to the kits, "Hey guys," she greeted sweetly, her left foreleg moving awkwardly as she padded over, "Mind if I join in one of your games today?" she tilted her head.

Frostedstar glanced at the camp, noticing that there were kits scuttling about. Trotting to the rouge kits, he called, "Where is Sunstripe kits?"

Rabbitkit smiled at Morningfinch's grumbling. She had always enjoyed the elders, with such interesting stories and their strong personalities. The reddish kit nodded to herself and at Morningfinch's request used her tiny claws to comb out the pesky flea, crushing it under her paw. With a giggle, she laid beside the grumpy elder and began to draw in the dirt. Once in a while she would poke Morningfinch gently, seeing if he would wake up. She began to hear the other kits and apprentices outside, and her pelt itched to go play if her old friend was not yet ready to open his eyes.

"ha ha!" she pinned them both down. Morningfinch nodded. "that kit will make a good fighter." mosskit scrambled off them and sat down.

"Tell me a story!" she damanded to morning finch good natrally

MorningFinch nods. "Yes, much. Now you are dismissed." He lays his head down and immedeatly starts snoring.
Pinefur, however, was walking around camp aimlessly, watching the kits and cats talk and play. He smiled, thinking, *I have such a wonderful clan.* (He's too opimistic! :U XD)

(oh my gosh...happy, you only control YOUR cat. I'm having a lot of difficulties with you. l:c)

Skykit detached his teeth from Mosskit's leg. "Dunno where she is." He answered shortly. "She was here when I went to sleep. Maybe she went to make dirt."

MorningFinch snorts and looks up. "Scram! I'm takin' a sleep you rags of fluff!" His short tail swishes quickly.

(Oh, goodness, I'm messing up already! ^^' How about Rabbitkit helped pick out a few other fleas. Sorry...)

Frostedstar noticed Pinefur and motioned him over. "Come, Pinefur. I need to ask something of you."

(im sorry...ive just never done this before) mosskit flattened her ears and walked away in boredom.

She studdied the ground and smiled mischeviously.

Sweetfur gently cuffed one of the kits, then limped away, falling if one were to tackle her. She enjoyed the kits, since she herself tended to act like one most of the time.

Cheetablaze yawned as there was nothing to do. "Where is Talonstreak? Shouldn't he be up by now?"

Pinefur lifted his head at FrostedStar's request. He strides over and sits in front of him, curling his bushy tail over his webbed paws. "Yes leader?"

Frostedstar then called to Thunderheart, and Cheetahblaze.

Rabbitkit jumped up when Morningfinch hissed at her, and raced out with a smile on her small muzzle. The grumpy elders couldn't shake her good temper. With a laugh she ran out of the den and straight onto the pile of her brothers and sisters. "Did'ja miss me? I was trying to get Morningfinch to tell me a story, but I guess he's not a morning cat after all!" Her stumpy tail twitched happily, and her shiny white teet shone.

mosskit walked over to sweetfur, sneeking up on her tail. she silently pounced, and bit down hard. her tiny jaws clamped tight.

Sylpha started dream.ing she dreamed of a forest. a forest where many flowers bloomed, where there were many bugs to chase, and where there were other cats- *SCREEEEEEECH! Sylpha woke up with a start! her owners wheeled creature went crazy as a wild cat ran across the road. the swerve caused the (car) door to swing open (the owner had been having trouble with that lately) and her carrier slid closer and closer to the open door. helpless, all Sylpha could do was meow in protest. her carrier hit the ground v.i.o.l.e.n.tly with a thud and rolled many times before stoping. Sylpha's person, being half deaf, didn't notice she was gone. Sylpha was so exasperated and scared she passed out...

Sweetfur chuckled, "Yeah, it's a surprise that Morningfinch and I are even related," she joked.

"Hello, Sweetfur!" Kestrelkit greeted warmly. "Do you need help with anything in the medicine den? I don't have anything to do here except get attacked by Mosskit and Skykit. They're playfighting." Just then, she got tackled by Skyclaw. "Gotcha!" He squealed with delight. Kestrelkit shook him off and got up. "Please stop dragging me into your game..." She mumbled politely.

Cheetablaze pri.cked his ears, hearing Frostedstar call him. He padded over to the leader, oblivious on what he wanted. "What is it Frostedstar?"

mosskit purred and parted her jaws, bouding around sweetfur. "Wow! u didnt even notice my lionclan bite! Ur strong!"

"I will need you to lead a boarder patrol and take 2 other warriors with you, Thunderheart." Frostedstar announced

Sweetfur smiled warmly, "Sure, I could use some help sorting herbs, we need to get the old, bad herbs out and restock the supplies for Leaf Bare," she explained.

Pinefur shuffled his feet restlessly, waiting for the news. He had only guesses at what FrostedStar had to say.

"mousebrain" mosskit mumbled to skykit and losing intrest in sweetfur she lept on him again. "im the leader of MossClan!" she announced proudly as she pinned him down yet again. she slid of him and let him jump on her.

Frostedstar looked at Cheetahblaze and said, "I need a boarder patrol, and hunt along the way."

Pinefur nods at the leader, then turns his head to the other two warriors. He bows. "Hello you two."

"lets get warmkit!" she wispered in skykits ear and she crept tword her.

Frostedstar cast a sideways glance at Pinefur, but said nothing until the other cats were out of ear-shot.

Cheetablaze nodded. "No problem!" He then noticed Pinefur bow down. "Uh... Hey?"

she held her breath and glanced at skykit

Cheetablaze began to head toward the Warrior den, poking hia head in. "Anycat there?"

Lightningstrike's eyes flew open and his pupils dialated to tiny slits as he hissed, "What do you want?!"

Mosskit Yelped and jumped on Warmkit. "hee hee! got you!"

Pinefur smiles, oblivious to the fact that Cheetahblaze was thinking him strange. He turns back to Frostedstar. "So, what will I be doing?"

Frostedstar meowed across the camp, "Thunderheart! No! Take Riverpaw!" *oh great Starclan* he thought, *why'd Lightningstrike have to be in there?*

She laughed

Sylpha came to in a panic. she groaned as she felt very sore. she then remembered the things that happened. her heart beating fast, she wondered what she should do. the only possesions she had with her was her fancy diamond set collar, and her faveorite toy, a neon green feathery mouse. suddenly, her beat up carrier felt more like a safe place than a prison. she also realised the lock on her carrier was broken (yes, a normal lock, because she can get out of normal carriers.)

and licked warmkits ear.

Riverpaw opened her eyes and yawned. "morning already?" she said drowsily. She stretched and looked around to see if thunderheart was.

Shaking off the feeling of dread, Frostedstar turned back to Pinefur. "Well, I need to speak with you about some important matters." Frostedstar padded to Ragged tree and waited for Pinestar to follow.

she layed there for a while, carefully playing with her toy, waiting for her owner to come back for her...

"Let's go, then!" Kestrelkit giggled. She stood up and walked beside Sweetfur."When I become of age, will you make me your apprentice?" Kestrelkit asked hopefully. Meanwhile, Skykit was with Rabbitkit. "Sure! Warmkit's not doin' anythin'. She needs to get ready." He started to sneak up on Warmkit. *Here I go!*

she slid of warmkit and mewed affectionly

"It's alright. Why don't you wake Riverpaw and take Cheetahblaze? That's a good patrol group."

Pinefur tilted his head in curiousity and followed Frostedstar. "If I may ask, leader, what's this about?"

Rabbitkit rolled onto her back as the kits vied for Sweetfur's attention. The medicine cat was an idol to Kestrelkit, and a great friend to the rest, though Rabbitpaw mostly enjoyed her knowledge-and her play-fighting skill. With a smile Rabbitkit trotted around the camp, and with large ears she found her next adventure; Frostedstar calling over many of the strongest, most cunning warriors of the clan. *What're they doing? Oh, what if they're going to go on a journey, and need help?! I'm strong, I can help!!* She bounded toward the tree closest to the group, and with a shake of her short tail clawed into the bark. It took all her effort to get to the lowest branch, where she huffed for breath, trying to listen to what the warriors were saying.

she wiggled her hindquarters and leaped in a random direction away from skykit. she hoped warmkit would be distracted.

Riverpaw turned to see thunderheart poke her head into the apprentices den. "oh there you are thunder heart " river paw mewed happily.

sitting for hours, she became hungry. she decided to carry her toy mouse with her. (like a little kids blanket, as a feeling of safety) she noticed the corn fields across the road. 'maybe i could eat that. i think cat food has that plant in it' she thought to herself.

Cheetablaze looked at Lightningstrike with a hateful look. *That hag? Great...*

"uhh, goto go warmkit. you look for that snail" she bounded away and found herself next to rabbitkit.

"It's about...Talonstreak..." he whispered his duputy's name, and began scaling the massave old tree, and stopped half-way.

she climbed the fence, trying to find a plant with a ear of corn good enough for her superiority (lol)

"pinefurs going to b a new deputy!" mosskit guessed, wispering into rabbitkits ear

Pinefur's merangue-colored eyes widened as he heard the leader. "Oh." He clambered up the tree as well, hauling his heavy body up was nothing easy. He sat next to Frostedstar. "I thought he died."

Riverpaw stared at thunderheart in awe. Excitement surged through river paw "of course I would!"riverpaw meowed happily.

Frostedstar's eyes grew as wide as two moons. "What?!" Frostedstar looked straight at Pinefur. "He was here at moonhigh though! Why wasn't I informed?!"

She tetered on the branch and crept closer.

(Wait... is he actually dead? I just assumed. XD)

she found a big fat one she liked, and pounced on the plant to knock it over. she came over to the corn and sat down by it. she set her mouse down right next to her, and took a bite out of the dry, uncooked corn. 'its kinda nasty, but its all i got' she thought. just then, something shaped kind of like her toy caught her eye...

(no happy...and i hope you guys know the kits can't hear them talking at this point)

"well, i dont know. they just do. i never met him so i have no idea." she meowed almost silently

Pinefur lowered his ears. "Yes, I'm... sorry... I thought you knew, leader."

Cheetablaze looked at Thunderheart's gleaming, amber eyes. "On patrol?"

Sweetfur smiled, "Sure, if Frostedstar allows it. I'd love to have you as an apprentice," she replied to the kit.

Skykit crept a little closer, them pounced on Warmkit. "Rawr!" He cried. "I'm gonna getcha!" He batted her with his paws, claws sheathed. Skykit playfully nibbled and pawed Warmkit until he got bored. *What's Rabbitkit doing?* He wondered, when he spotted her on the roots of the ragged tree. He got off of Warmkit and scrambled to get to Rabbitkit as fast as he could. It took tremendous effort, but he climbed up to join her. "Whatcha doin?" He asked.

*wow im going on patroll! this is going to be awesome* Riverpaw loved exploring and going on patroll. Unlike most aprentices she loved to train so that she could be a great warrior one day.

"SHH!" mosskit whispered.

"there talking!"

She flicked her ears creeping closer.

"EWWWW! A FILTHY WILD MOUSE EEEEEWWWW!" she yowled. it crept over to her partially eaten corn, and started nibbling on it. "great, now my corn is infected with mouse cooties!" she said, annoyed.

Frostedstar's face scrunched in confusion. "Has anyone seen his body? Why wasn't it brough back?" (they haven't found his bodeh. XD Frostedstar wants his bodeh >XD)

Rabbitkit hissed in anger as she could no longer hear the two warriors' whispers. She let her eyes go to Mosskit, who was creeping closer to the edge to hear. "Mosskit, be careful!" The little red kit hissed to her friend, seeing the branch shiver at the tip. Fear creapt into her throat. "Come back! The branch's gonna break!"

She crawled up the tree, onto a brance on the oppisite side of the tree where the leader was talking.

Sunstripe noticed her kits spread out around camp. She pelted to her kits bumbling around Ragged tree. "Kits! Come here this instant!" she ordered as she reached the tree

"whew" she said in releif, flicking her tail to rabbitkit, in thanks.

"Alright then, let's go!" Cheetablaze yowled as e began to run to the IceClan entrance.

Pinefur shook his head. "No... we found blood by the border, it smelled of him. There was fur too. Must've been the other clans trying to weaken us..." He looks up at Frostedstar, his eyes conveying honesty.

(happy...they're 16 feet in the freaking air. A tiny kit could not climb that high.)

"What, Why----" SNAP! the brance broke out from underneath her and she hit the ground with a thud.

(she only climbed like 3 feet)

She let out a faint wimper and everything went black. she twitched occasionally, but was still otherwise.

"I don't believe that. I need proof. I need to see his corpse with my own eyes." Frostedstar shook as he realized the meaning of words pouring from his mouth.

Rabbitkit looked beside her at a tired Skykit. "Shh. We're trying to hear what Frostedstar and Pinefur are saying, but they're too far away. It looks serious." Her amber eyes widened as she (she THINKS) figured out what happened. "W-what if Frostedstar is tired of being leader?! What'll we do, Skykit?!"

mosskit wimpered softly.

Sunstripe scooped up her fallen kit and herded the others back to the nursery. "Steh" she ordered through the mouthful of fur. She bolted to the medicime cat den and set her kit down. "Sweetfur!" she yowled

"rabbitkit.....get sweet-----" she broke off twitching.

Cheetablaze skidded to a hault, realizing he was close to crashing into the entrance. "I really need to pay attention more."

She shudered sillently. "s-sorry su-sunst-ipe...... " then she went still.

Frostedstar shook his head. "Show me." he meowed.

Sweetfur jumped, starled, "Wha...? Oh dear StarClan!" she squeaked, seeing the injured kit, "What happened?" she asked the queen.

Pinefur looks down and nods. "I understand." He looks up again, his eyes more squinted. "But that might mean looking in the enemy's territory."

"t-tell....rabitkit......she will be my bestest frien-d ever,....and s-skykit that there is........-----." she broke off, and lay still.

"she was climbing a Ragged tree and the branch under her broke!" she whimpered

Frostedstar just nodded and clawed back down the tree.

(back sorry) Riverpaw trotted out of the den to thunderheart. "So who else is coming?" Riverpaw said quietly. *the more the merrier!*

Sweetfur gritted her teeth. She immediately gathered the herbs needed, then set to work. She politely asked the others to leave the den so the kit wouldn't feel more frightened. She explained how the kit could possibly die of shock and fear.
Sweetfur continued mumbling as she treated the kit.

Pinefur watched him go, feeling guilty, as if it were his fault. (It wasn't. XD) He followed suit, nimbly hopping from branch to branch, then finally to the dirt.

Sylpha, disgusted, decided she was no longer hungry. she picked up her toy mouse and headed across the road toward the forest, to look for water.

(hey...uhh since moss is in the medicine cat den can i be shadowstorm? i know i sound so pushey and stuiped but i have a really good idea im sorry im the biggest idiot here but i havent rped ever except for the dioxel one we did)

"Fnly che er!" Cheetablaze spoke his best through gritted teeth. *Great, I think the apprentices brought thorns into the camp...*

"h-hey sweetfur....."

"where is....where am i?" she mewed raspingly.

Sweetfur smiled weakly, "Hey... here, can you eat these?" she pushed a few poppy seeds toward the kit.

this real forest was not nearly as glorious as she thought one would be in her dream. "why couldn't i get lost somewhere beautiful?" she said to herself under her breath.

"sure." she lapped them out grimicing at the taste.

Pinefur trotted up beside his leader. "Should I... try and find him?"

Frostedstar padded to the entrance. (ok, the other warriors are sharing tongues)

"yuk they taste like crowfood!" she said making a face.

"why am I here? usuly its krestlekit whos the medicine know it a--" she staggered, woozy, and lay here head on her paws.

(XD I still crack up at Sharing toungues. Sounds like they're making out.)

she finally came across a river, which she thought was probably quite filthy and germy, but she was too thirsty to care to much about that. she set down her mouse and crouched down to drink.

Sweetfur shook her head, "No, they'll make you tired. And I know, most herbs don't taste very good, but they'll help you feel better."

He gave up, setting his paw lightly yet awkwardly on the ground. He sighed, "Coming."

Frostedstar waited for Pinefur to lead him to the spot of Talonsteaks' remains.

She began to snore softly.

Riverpaw looked at cheetahblaze curiously. *so he is coming to? strange....* "h-hi cheetahblaze" riverpaw said stuttering a bit.

Pinefur headed into the bushes, remembering the path he took not ten hours earlier. "It's through here..." He said as he leaped over various logs and ducked under branches. He paused at a small spruce tree. Under it was clumps of matted, bloody fur strewn about. In the center of it all was a dried pool of blood. "Here..."

(I don't want it to interfere with the plot though...I'm really picky as you've probably noticed)

Sweetfur sighed, sitting down. She looked at her paws, seeing her right paw, which was fine, and then seeing the left, which was twisted and splayed slightly. Her entire left foreleg looked awkward, and she still felt insecure about it when she went to gatherings.

Frostedstar leapt over Pinefur to invistigate. He pressed his nose into the clump of bloodied fur, "Smells like...rabbit..." Frostedstar turned to Pinefur, "What kind of sick joke IS this?"

Sylpha, done drinking, picked up her mouse and continued on. She remembered a wild cat scaring the wheeled creature they were riding in was the reason for her getting lost. maybe she could get help.

"Hey." Cheetablaze followed Thunderheart, careful to not step on his injured paw.

"well i-its just that he doesnt really come on patroll that often thats all"riverpaw meowed quietly.Not daring to look at her mentor river paw stared at the ground.

"HELLOOOOOOOOOOO"

Pinefur cowered down. "M-maybe I have the wrong tree?" He looked away and sighed. "I-I could try again... I maybe got mistaken, maybe... um... maybe the deputy k!lled this rabbit?"

(there are 2 other clans: Fireclan-Ebonystar (tall, jet-black tom with yellow eyes) and Leafclan-Gladestar (Skinny auburn she-cat with green eyes)

Mosskits leg splayed out from under, deformed,

"Well, where would he have gone?" Frostedstar pondered, keeping a cool head.

"huh" riverpaw turned to the direction of the sound "what was that?" Riverpaw walked closer to thunderheart and cheetahblaze.

Sylpha, hearing feline voices, got exited "Ofver Herrr!" she yelled with her mouse in her mouth.

He snorted. "Just because I don't go on patrols often doesn't mean I-" He broke off, hearing a strange voice. "Yeah, I hear it too."

Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Frostedstar caught a glimpse of a slight disturbance in the undergrowth. Silently, Frostedstar flicked his tail over Pinefur's muzzle and nodded his head to the spot he detected rustling.

Pinefur looked back up at Frostedstar, wondering why he wasn't angry. He shook his head. "I have no idea... I didn't know him that well."

Sweetfur bent down and gently licked the kits pelt. She lay down and curled her tail around her. She had longed for kits of her own for a long time, but knew that couldn't happen after her... accident... that caused her to become a medicine cat instead of a warrior.

Pinefur shut up and crouched, seeing the shape too.

Her diamond collar sparkling in the sun shining through the leaves, she sprinted very fast toward the voices. "Heelpp im losft" she said with her mouse still making her sound funny.

Riverpaw ran after thunderheart only to see another cat. *wait a second is that a kittypet?*riverpaw thought to herself. She ran over to the other cat curosity consumed her.

mosskit peered through the blackness.

"But I-" Cheetablaze shook his head and ran clumsily toward the voice.

nearly crashing into cheetahblaze, she skidded to a halt. "YESH I HAFV FOND UTHER CATS!"

Cheetablaze haulted. *A kittypet? What's a kittypet doing here?* Ever since he was caught by twolegs he was forced into the kittypet life. *It's a nice life...*

Sweetfur's gaze softened, "How are you feeling, Mosskit?" she asked.

Frostedstar crept closer to the movement until he was almost standing on it. Frostedstar gasped, horrifyed. An almost-dead Talonstreak lay at his paws. "No...Oh dear Starclan...Please No"

Mosskit mumbled quietly.

"Thunderheart..." Cheetablaze looked at the kittypet, forgeting all about chasing her off.

A horrific bite consumed the majority of his dark brown throat. Blood was seeping from the dried wound. "Talonstreak! What happened? Say something!" he screached.

Pinefur's eyes widened. "Oh.... there he is...." He stood back while the leader stared.

setting her mouse down and sitting, she said, " Hi im Sylpha and im a world fameous kitty known for my intellegence and understanding of human language. who are you?" she let he collar flash in the sun so they could see its beauty.

Sweetfur lay her head on her paws, gazing at the rest of the camp through the opening of her den.

"where........did she go?"

Riverpaw walked towards the kitty pet curiously. "h-hi my names riverpaw "she said quietly.She looked back over to see thunderheart hissing at the kittypet. "Whats the matter thunderheart?" Riverpaw meowed.

she held her nose in the air as though it was her plan to be lost in the forest.

(inca...no. bad *sprays with waterbottle* They're housefolk to kittypets and cats don't understand english...or languages...or human words)

"where is she?"

Cheetablaze sat down looking at Sylpha's collar. "That's some collar."

"and who are you?" as she looks at the other cats

"She said..."

"What?" Cheetablaze asked Thunderheart.

"Where is who?" Sweetfur asked the kit.

"Sweetfur! The cat has a message for you!"

"The cat with the stars in her fur!"

Sweetfur flattened her ears slightly, "Who...?"

"Im riverpaw as i said before and who are you miss princess?" Riverpaw gave a sarcastic remark to the prissy kittypet.Riverpaw looked at her shyly "sorry about that but your kinda acting stuck up that will get you ki.lled out here." River paw mewed.

"You cant tell anybody!"

Talonstreak rasped something. "What?" Frostedstar leaned down, putting his ear over Talonstreak's muzzle. "I can...see it..." the dying cat mewed. "See what?" Frostedstar wondered, slightly confused.
"Them...Starclan. They're...beautiful..." Talonstreak whispered in awe.

My person is the best person a cat could ever own, but their wheeled creature dropped me on the road and i got lost. er, my person got lost.

"Is that better thunderheart?" Riverpaw gave a uneasy look to thunderheart. "I dont know if I could act like that ever again"Riverpaw said sighing.

"Okay..." Sweetfur replied, "Now, what did the cat say?" she asked, her green eyes showing concern, in case it was an omen from StarClan.

Pinefur gasped. "Wow..." He had always wanted to see starclan, but not until he was old and frail.

Cheetablaze looked down at Sylpha. "I don't know. Being caught by twolegs really took it's toll." Cheetablaze shivered as he recalled the twolegs ridding him of his claws. *Better to not mention that...* "You got claws Sylpha?"

"I went to this place, and a cat, a medicine cat told me to tell you...."

"n-no...it was some cat named Talonstreak"

Sweetfur waited for the kit to finish.

"well, what else would you do with me besides take me back to your camp? leave me to starve? that wouldn't be nice" she said

"That, pine will restore the talon. What does that mean?"

Riverpaw trotted behind thunderpaw. *I feel really bad for saying that to her* Riverpaw sat behind cheetahblaze and thunderheart shyly.

"She then said not to worry, and that i would be ok."

"yes i have claws. and im not fixed *shivers* because my momma is a show cat and i am supposed to be too." she said

Sweetfur sighed in relief, "Well... at least you'll be okay... but... I haven't the slightest idea as to what the rest of that means..."

aww it looks so fun i wish my internet didnt suck otherwise i could have gotten in.....

Frostedstar murmured, "No...stay here. Starclan is for cats who need to go...You need to STAY. We need you. I need you."
Talonstreak turned his head to Pinefur. "You... I wish for YOU to take my place. Be good to the clan..." He managed to croak that sentence, but his voice began to falter and fade as he was being pulled towards Starclan.
"Don't say that! You're not going anywhere except to Sweetfur!" just then, a fleck of rain fell onto Frostedstar's nose.

Talonstreak chuckled, but it only sounded like a cough, "I will, but I'll be watching from above..."

Riverpaw stared at sylpha in awe. * A show cat?* Riverpaw followed thunderheart closely without going near the kittypet.

She closed her eyes

"i mean, i was so hungry i had to eat raw corn!" she said this as if she had to eat worms and was starving.

Pinefur stared ahead blankly. *He said... he wishes me... to take his place.* He looks at Frostedstar, then at the now dead Talon. He sighed.

Sweetfur blinked, then stood up slowly. She then arched her back in a stretch, her ginger tail quivering. She stepped out of the den and blinked when sunlight glared in her delicate eyes.

Cheetablaze looked up, small flecks of water dropped on his nose. "We better get going, I don't want my pelt to get wet!"

"But, we dont have a deputy right? and his name was talon.... but what about pine?"

"then a nasty wild mouse started eating it and i couldn't eat it anymore!" she said this while picking up her mouse and hooking the tail on her collar.

she dragged her self out , her leg at an awkward angle.

"Talonstreak...? Talonstreak?!" Frostedstar shook his head and stood. The blood of his clan mate caked and matted his long chestfur. "Pinefur..." he meowed emotionlessly, "help me drag Talonstreak back to camp." The clouds seemed to burst open with a flash of lightning, followed by a booming burst of thunder.

she followed behind them, and said, "whats this camp like anyway, and whos this 'leader?'"

"maby "pine" will take talons place as deputy!

Sweetfur shook her head, "I'll have to talk to Frostedstar about it..." she replied quietly.

"ooooh the rain feels good" she said.

Cheetablaze nodded. "Come on, Riverpaw. Let's take Sylpha back to camp."

" mmm. she nodded. "

Sweetfur gently nudged the kit back into the medicine den, "Stay here, I'll bring us something to eat," she mewed, then stumbled toward the fresh-kiIl pile.

Pine nods and picks up the other half of Talon, the blood sticky and warm. He winced.

Frostedstar gripped the scruff on the still-warm corpse of the deputy. *Treat him well Starclan...*

she studied her leg, and angerly meowed."ill NEVER be an apprentice now! but that cat said ill be alright, so..."

"ok! i want to see this 'leader' and what the camp looks like. what kind of cat food do you guys eat there?"

Pinefur carried him solumnly to camp, his whiskers dripping water by the time he got there. The rain made it slightly enjoyable... he shook the thought from his mind, it was sick.

(oh, above in the comments krestlekit said she wanted to be her aprentice and sweetfur said shed talkto the leader about it.)

Riverpaw nodded and started to walk towards camp. Riverpaw glanced at sylpha every now and then but said nothing.

Frostedstar still drug the heavy deputy as the sprinkling rain, became almost a downpour.

(im the only problem here :( ) Mosskit studied the ground.

"whats wrong Riverpaw?" she asked.

she picked up a berry and squished it, and it dripped down her paw.

"Im SOO bored." mosshead muttered.

The three cats passed through the camp entrance. *Those kits don't need to see this...* he thought.
Frostedstar set his body down in front of Ragged tree.

Sweetfur saw Pinefur and the leader enter the camp with the sodden corpse of the now-former deputy. She limped over toward them.

Pinefur watched his poor leader. He felt terrible and didn't deserve place as deputy. He wanted his leader to be happy over everything.

The storm raged above the clan, sending raindrops everywhere.

mosskit followed sweetfur, leaving a trail in the dirt.

Frostedstar looked at Sweetfur with melancholy obviously showimg through in his blue eyes.

She lowered her eyes to the ground, touching talon with her nose.

"Have...have the others returned yet?" Frostedstar asked; his voice cracking

Sweetfur flattened her ears, then gently pressed her body against his, "Are you going to be okay...?" she asked quietly.

Pinefur sat there dejectedly, staring at the dead body. *This shouldn't have happened...*

She shook her head, "Not yet..."

mosskit rubbed her muzzle on his leg.

"Riverpaw, whats wrong???" she insisted.

saddness plumeted through her eyes and she mumbled pine, over and over.

Frostedstar shook his head. "I don't know Sweetfur...I just don't know..."

She licked FrostedStars pelt, smoothing out the ragged clumps.

Pinefur couldn't look any more and headed to the edge of camp. He sat down by a bare aspen, leaves at the base of the tree and started grooming himself to calm his nerves.

Riverpaw jumped a bit "oh nothing nothing at all ." Riverpaw stared at sylpha and then said quietly "well its just that....im sorry for acting rude to you earlier thats all"

Frostedstar abruptly broke away from the cats and clambered up Ragged tree. Sending his voice ringing through the rainy clearing, he spoke the not so familiar words, "Let all cats of Iceclan join beneath Ragged tree." *Please, Starclan, don't make me do this...* he pleaded

Pine headed to the tree and sat down in the mud. He knew what this was about and he lowered his head.

"Oh, thats alright. i was kinda prissy earlier, so im sorry. i just didnt want to seem weak and frail because i live(d) with humans."

Sweetfur looked away, "Frostedstar, I'll get the flowers to rub on his pelt... so he doesn't smell of death...." She limped away slowly, her pelt the colour of blood from the rain soaking it.

(all absent RPer's cats see the body and are stunned/sad and sit under the tree)
Lightningstreak grumpily emerged from the warrior's den and didn't seem the least bit interested in why everyone was gathered. He looked at the fresh-k!ll pile and snorted, then turned to the group of cats.

"you ferals (thats what the 'kittypets' call wild cats) are just so strong, emotionally and physically, it would be very hard for me to be like that." she said quietly.

Frostedstar lept down from the tree and stood next to the body of his fallen friend. (You better get cranky out here. He has to help rub them flowers on the body and help bury him.)

Riverpaw walked over to the cat."Talonstreak no i-it cant be"riverpaw meowed mournfully.

Sylpha (with her epic stealth skills) creeped over behind a tree to see what was going on.

MorningFinch grumbled and hauled his achey body up. "What is it this time...?" He grumbled and sat by the tree, his matted pelt blocking out the rain.

"Cats of Iceclan," he began, "I am very saddened to bring this news about you, but as you can already tell, Talonstreak, proud deputy of Iceclan, has gone to Starclan."

Sweetfur asked her grandfather to help her rub flowers on the deceased warriors pelt, and she carried some of the delicate plants over.

"Mum, cam we go to the meeting?" Skykit asked. "I wanna see what's going on." He licked his paw. "What about you guys?" He looked at his siblings. "I dunno. Can I go and visit Mosskit and Sweetfur instead? I'd like to help them if I could." Kestrelkit mewed. (I agree that Sylpha could be a warrior. Not just because I liked the idea of Kestrel being a medicine cat, but it seems that Sylpha would be too prissy to handle bloody and injured cats. Just sayin'. But if she's gonna be a medicine cat apprentice, I guess that's how it would be. I can imagine Kestrel as a warrior.)

she saw the limp cat laying there and said loud enough for some of the cats to hear her "WHATS WRONG WITH HIM???" (Sylpha may be spoiled and prissy, but she is very caring.)

*Sylpha came into view*

"We shall mourn his death," pained, Frostedstar continued, "And I shall appoint a worthy cat of Iceclan as deputy."

realising that wasn't the best idea, she looked kind of sheepish.

MorningFinch grumbled and took the flowers. He started rubbing the fragrant blooms all over the dead cat. "I hate me job..." He mumbled, barely audible.

Sweetfur gently rubbed the flowers on the warrior's pelt... then she noticed something caught in his claws.... She licked it out and sniffed it... it was cat fur... it smelled familiar, but she couldn't figure out whose fur it was... she decided to keep it, just in case...

Pinefur lowered his head at the last part.

Lightningstreak's pelt bristled. "DO YOU CATS NOT KNOW HOW TO PATROL YOUR OWN TERRITORY?! There is a KITTYPET in our territory!"

"Sylpha what are you doing!"Riverpaw whispered. Riverpaw gave her a frightend look "go back and wait please!" riverpaw meowed.

Lightningstreak leapt and yanked the kittypet up by the scruff and shook her around. "How cood ah keehee het ike ih geh ih ouh camh!"
Frostedstar yowled at him, "Put her down, Lightningstrike! She's no threat. This is not at ALL the proper time for this."

Riverpaw jumped over to sylpha "we told you to stay!"riverpaw yowled. Riverpaw stood in front of sylpha almost sheilding her.

"uhh hi? i ,um, was wondering if i could stay here for a while? and whats wrong with that poor cat? hes sick! rubbing flowers on him won't help! he needs to go to this place that these people will help him and-" Sylpha was cut off by Lighningstrikes rage.

Pinefur looked sullenly over at the fighting cats.

Out of fear riverpaw jumped onto lightning strikes back digging her teeth into him yowling"stop lig-tning str-strike!"

Tossing the cat like a rotten piece of fresh-k!ll, Lightningstrike hissed, "You see? She dishonors the dead! She knows nothing! She is an inscolent SPECK!"
"ENOUGH!" Frostedstar roared, followed by a loud boom of thunder, almost as if sent by Starclan. "We will deal with this kittypet LATER."

after being picked up by the scruff and shook, she was angered. Yelling at lighningstrike, she said "WHAT KIND OF WAY IS THAT TO TREAT A GUEST! I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT IS NOT A WAY TO TREAT 'ROYALTY' (lol) MY PERSONS GUNNA...." She continues yelling at ligningstrike, slowly backing him away as he could see through her yelling she had fangs longer than any cat in the clan.

"I MAY BE A "KITTYPET", BUT MY MOMMA TAUGHT ME HOW TO FIGHT IF I NEED TO!"

Riverpaw detached from lightning strikes back and hissed.She staggered over to sylpha "are y-you okay?" riverpaw said huffing.

Lightningstrike sneered at the two cats and looked back at the deputy's corpse. Quietly hissing, Lightningstrike snarled"If you don't learn your place, I'm sure there'll be a lot of cats wanting you like him."

Frostedstar yowled, irately. "Get that kittypet OUT of this clan, IMEADETLY. She may wait by the entrance."

"just go please sylpha!"riverpaw said loudly. Riverpaw turned and walked back over to the corpse glaring at lightning strike. "s-sorry frosted star." Riverpaw said apoligetically.

(im so sorry i am so bad at this ;'( ) Sylpha slowly walked away, hurt physically, but mostly emotionally. she had never had other cats be so mean to her before. she started to sob quietly as she left...

Frostedstar continued with the somber ceremony. "May Starclan accept you...and may you guide our pawsteps." Frostedstar burried his muzzle into the cold, wet body of his deputy. *I am so sorry...Talonstreak, please forgive me*

Pinefur watched somberly, the rain completing the whole, dreadful scene.

The other clan members all toutched Talonstreak's pelt with their noses.

as she left, Sylpha decided to sit outside the entrance of the camp. she took the toy hanging from her collar and batted at it sadly as she sobbed louder and louder.

Riverpaw looked back at sylpha"s-sorry" she whispered. Riverpaw stared at talonstreak tears welling up in her eyes.

The specified cats carried the body away once all the cats were finished.

Sylpha wished she could say she was sorry to the leader, and that she could be at the ceremony to prove that she did indeed respect the dead, whatever the 'dead' was. the thought of this made her even sadder...

Frostedstar once again lept onto Ragged tree and announced, "I say these words before the body of Talonstreak, so that his spirit may hear his dying wish fufilled. Pimefur will be the new deputy of Iceclan."

As the cats carried the body away riverpaw continued to glate at lightningstrike. *no wonder why no one likes him* Riverpaw turned and walked towards sylpha. "im really sorry" riverpaw said to her "i-it is just that.."

Sylphas eyes droped from riverpaw's gaze. She then turned around so no one could see her great shame.

Sunstripe POV
Sunstripe swept her kits close with her tail, this was ment to be a moment of silence, and the kittypet was making her fur stand on end. The atmosphere of the camp was tense. She held back tears of sadness and bit her tounge, she didn't want to worry her kits.

Steamkit POV
Steamkit reeled back as his mother's fluffy tail pulled him and his siblings close. His blue eyes grew wide, he didn't know how to respond to the death of the deputy, and the intruder. He desperately wanted to go back to his den, where he could think in peace.

*glare

Pinfur looked up. He didn't feel releived or happy as he should be, but still saddened, possibly even worse. He walked up to the tree, turned around and bowed to the clan. "I am honored to take this great cat's place. May he forever rest in Starclan."

Frostedstar leapt down (holy p00P) and toutched his nose to Pinefur's head. After the ceremony was complete, Frostedstar ordered, "Kittypet! Come here at once."

"i dont belong here." Said Sylpha. "im just a stupid 'kittypet'."

Sunstripe felt a small warmth within her when Pinefur, her mate, was announced to be deputy. Her warm gaze met his, and she smiled a little.

Steamkit looked at his dad, the most noble cat in the clan. His chest puffed out, his dad was deputy now!

"ok" she said kind of shaky

Pinefur smirked a little at the sight of his mate and kit. He sat back down next to them.

Frostedstar held the kittypet's gaze and waited for her to come to him.

"im so s-sorry" she said with her head hanging down. she would not look the leader in the eye.

(Sylpha came over)

"Come with me." he mewed as he stalked into his den.

Sunstripe leaned a little into Pinefur. He felt sad, it didn't just show in his eyes, his body felt sulky. She nuzzled him, closed her eyes, and whispered "I know dear..." Her voice was glazed with saddness.

(also, Sylpha thinks FrostedStar is cute, which makes her even more guilty ^w^)

"im com-m-ming." Sylpha followed.

Frostedstar laid down in his nest with his paws tucked under him and his long fluffy tail wrapped around his curled up body. "So, what is your name?" he questioned

Pinefur glanced over at Sunstripe and sighs. "It feels... wrong. One day he's here, next... gone... I suppose I should be glad... but.... you know...." He then looked up at the great tree, and prayed to Starclan. He thought, *Starclan, make sure Talon gets a good warm den up there, he deserves it....*

(Talonstreak's ceremony and Pinefur's the Deputy. Frostedstar's talking to the kittypet)

(lol ik but my kitty likes my other one and hes 9 months and shes about a year and a half 0_o. kitties don't have the same sense of stuff like that that we do. Sylpha thinks hes younger than he is anyway.)

Highly doubt anycat will notice.* He settled down, looking through the gaping hole. *StarClan, make sure nothing happens to this Clan.*

"well, there was a really sick cat, and that one cat got really mad at me for wanting to help him. So he picked me up and threw me. so i got mad at him for being heartless. Then i heard you guys say something about honoring the dead. i dont know what that is. is it someone with abad sickness?"

Sunstripe nodded, it was hard to not sob. Talonstreak was a great deputy... but she knew that Pinefur would live up to his standards. *He is as brave as a lion.* "We should take the kits back to the den... Come on kits, it's time to rest..."

Steamkit stared up at his parents. So sad... it made him feel so guilty for some reason. He told himself *It's not my fault...* but he couldn't help but feel the way he did. He looked down at the ground before following his mother, Sunstripe to the nursery.

(hmmmm, so if my kitty was at full stats,(10 months- 1 year) then the best way for her to fight would be to be quick and agile, and to not be hit. She will be almost as fast as FrostedStar, but slightly better stamina, Which means she could easily outrun LightningStrike [she even could now!] because hes really slow and more of a attacking/ defensive kind of cat.... gonna go check some of the other cats.)

(most of the cats are attackers or defensive, the most similar cat to mine statwise is Warmpelt.)

(Sunstripe is a very fast <third fastest I believe> and has great stanima. Steamkit will be the most defense heavy cat in the clan when he grows up)

There are no suprises or anything like that. I will LET YOU KNOW if you've been kicked out PERSONALLY (well as personal as Colors can get). Nobody has been kicked out YET, but some people might. You guys need to make things more accurate and realistic and know your own char as well as others'. You also need to LISTEN to me and my other RPers. It will make this much more enjoyable. And stop moving other people's characters for them...and you (some of you) guys make your cats way too op and you just do all the things I can't stand about RPers. I understand some of you are new, but you need to LISTEN to me when I correct you. >:G
