It's more complicated than that and it's not nintendo's fault.
Blame the stupid kids who are using the good features Nintendo gave us for the wrong reasons. Nintendo are just preventing themselves from being sued. Kind of like the idiots that use the gallery to set up underaged nude swap note sessions. Such a thing is a crime and if nintendo does nothing to stop it all happening, It'll seem as though they're letting this crime happen.
So yeah . . . Thanks all you idiots out there who've done this and ruined it for us good users.
