This is a tardigrade/water bear. Yes, this DOES exist. It also happens to be the toughest animal on Earth. It can survive deadly heat and severely low temperatures, automatically rehydrate, and shrivel up and play dead in the rare case that it's in an enviroment that's outside of its comfort zone.
