Awww, but I loved lil'Hope aswell as the dynamid between him and Light.

@utena Hope whined waaay too much, though. Aaargh. Like, when Lightning begins to awaken her eidolin for the first time, Hope's moaning while she's grabbing her chest and making pained faces. WHAT IF SHE WAS DYING HOPE WHAT THEN. He just annoys me, but I still liked using him.

Hope's only 14 and just lost the person he loved most, turned into a cursed sIave of 'evil' god, and in the process became enemy of his home where the gov't wants him dead, then is forced to be with these random stranger adults.
After losing his beloved mother, the idiot who recruited her is going on showing no signs of guilt for any of the lives lost in the purge rebellion he led.

His life drastically changed in a day. His whining is realistic and show's he's a normal human kid. Not a [broken] Ex-Soilder. Not a Father who's delt with loss before hand. Not a wannabe [guilt-ridden] Hero. Not a [broken] girl who ran away from everything.

@utena Well, that really puts it in a different light... I guess I couldn't relate to his relationship with his mother (don't get along with mine), and that seems like the basis of most of his problems.
