(SICKENINGLY OUTDATED) When man masters tech and abandons god, they fall into war, spending #Chai's (Life) resources. #Beth #Nephesh (House of Souls) destroys all but a land of three-thousand people surrounded by a mountain-dam, dam.ns all other souls, and creates a population limit. They then place the #Shomer (Guardians) as man's guides to life. Beth Nephesh forsakes Chai entirely, and gives the Shomer the ability to "unchain the soul" of one person each.
