ive known it since i started...
u see,( taught my self about 3D, i did research on my own without using the internet)
3D is all about eyes. if you draw two pictures that look the same but the character is a little to the right on one of them and when you cross your eyes to join them, the character may pop out!
u see if u tilt your 3Ds down...
you will see every thing double!
those are the two pictures. right now as you look at it your eyes are crossing! and did u notice the when u tilt it down the back picture is more separated thats because its more to the back.
try drawning your own 3D picture on a piece of paper!
remember to cross your eyes!
also search on Google for 3D cross-eye pics

Saaytin figured this out a while ago... If you check out his gallery and look for a black and white girl, you'll see her popping out the screen when you tilt your 3ds (the directions are in the description).

I tried... it didn't work, I must be doing something wrong - .- sniff sniff.
