I can't say much of what I haven't said before, but I seriously DO NOT GET IT. That way of thinking is so ignorant, and the people that say that usually add the "It makes more sense/ is simpler that way". Ok, like... literally the simplest way of looking at it is just to be with who you want and who loves you back. Nothing else. Simple as it gets, nothing to get confused about. The only reason those people are so confused is because they choose to remain ignorant. That's the difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is not knowing, stupidity is choosing to remain ignorant even when you have the ability to learn right in front of you. Their loss. The world is so much nicer when you can accept other people being happy together.
