I'll start with some crititism:
I was trying a abstract-y background, more blury really.
Oh well, not bad for a first try.

this is really cool! the grass effect, the background, it all blends perfectly with itself! the story kinda reminds me of pokemon mystery dungeon.

You wouldn't be too far off, I love the mystery dungeon series, so that could be where I got the inspiration from.
