That part really had me scared for a moment.
But now, if Karkat dies, the only way for him to be revived is with the ring.
It seems unlikely he would get it though, and considering the imminent battle with Gamzee, all of the Jacks, Betty Crocker, and possibly LE himself, it's not too unlikely he'll die.
