Crazyriverotter, exactly. It's a kids show, the jokes are for kids, so are the morals, and characters, and stories, and dialog... I'm not a kid, so I don't enjoy it. If I was 7, and was a girl, I'd like it.
I love MLP:FiM, and I think this is hilarious. The real joy of the show is that it works on multiple levels. If you want to view it as an insipid children's show, that's fine; it can be viewed as such. On the other hand, the show explores an array of universal human themes that can be analyzed in depth if the viewer chooses to do so--emphasis on "if." In any case, I got a good laugh out of this.
