In an episode of Adventure Time called His Hero a song plays with a montage of princesses getting saved and whatever. Cotton Candy Princess was one of them, but she lookee much different. Natasha Allegri, the show's character designer, redesigned it to look like this. She hasn't been in any episodes with this appearance.
