Carina backed away, sword in hand, preparing for Sage to strike. She quickly glanced over her shoulder to make sure Boom was ok, which he was. She then looked forward at the other enderman. There was something different about him. He was shorter than Sage and wore an ender pearl around his neck. But most importantly, he seemed to have no desire to there, but something was keeping him from leaving. Maybe it was Sage?
Suddenly Carina saw something in the corner of her eye. Sage reappeared and swung his sword down. Carina blocked it and went to strike but Sage teleported behind her and struck again, Carina ducked and knocked into him. He teleported again and reappeared near Endie. "Heh, not bad kid. Most others were dead by now. But i'm just getting started!" Sage exclaimed and teleported. "So am i!" Carina shot back as Boom threw a strange splash potion to her. It broke and came into effect on contact. Neither Sage or Endie had seen one like it before. But, Sage didn't care. He teleported behind Carinaand charged forward. But she simply back fliped over him before striking him in the back. "Hey! What gives?!" Sage exclaimed picking himself up "What was that?!" Endie asked, speaking for the first time.

"That my friend was what's known as a Haste potion. Made by a good friend of mine, it's a combo of speed and jump boost, with a little strength added in for good measure" Carina explained. "Alright! I've had just about enough of this! Be it slowly or abruptly, i'm going to k!ll you here and now!" Sage raved and began lashing out like crazy. He wasn't going to lose. But Carina fought back. Neither was she.
Boom and Endie held their breath. Things were getting tense and it wasn't going to End well for some. Endie suddenly saw that he had a splash potion of slowness. Without thinking, he aimed and threw it at Sage. But he suddenly ducked as Carina swung her sword. The potion hit her and came into effect. She staggered back. Sage suddenly struck her, sending her flying off to the side. Carina got up but Sage teleported and hit her again, his ender blade cutting across her right side. Sage looked back at Endie "Not bad. You're learning" he told him before turning his attendtion back to his victim.
Carina rolled onto her back, blood now streaming from her side. She tried to get up but before she had a chance, Sage pinned her to the ground. "I'll admit, you weren't half bad" he told her, raising his ender blade "But now, it's the end of the road for you!" he added and swung his sword forward.

Suddenly, Sage felt something hit into him as he suddenly teleported and crashed into the wall. Endie reappeared in the middle of the chamber. "That's enough Sage! I won't allow you to hurt anyone else! Not anymore!" Endie exclaimed as Sage picked himself up. But instead of anger filling his eyes, an evil smile crept across his face. Before Endie could do anything, Sage teleported, grabbed himby the neck and smashed him against the wall. "Hahah! I've been waiting for you to turn. I knew you would at some point" Sage told him, bringing his Ender Blade to Endie's throat. "Because now i actually have a reason to k!ll you. Believe me, i won't hesitate!"
But suddenly, before either of them knew what was happening, Sage was skidding across the floor. "What the-?!" Endie began, but then saw who it was. "And neither will i!" Boom exclaimed, after respawning "Alright Boom!" Carina cheered as she got up, the slowness worn off. "Why you-!" Sage raved as he got up and chased Boom. "C.rap c.rap c.rap!" Boom shouted as he ran back to his hiding place. Blinded by rage, Sage turned his attendtion from Boom to Endie and threw his Ender Blade. However Carina suddenly jumped up and hit the sword back before rushing up to Sage and striking his head, the diamond blade cutting down across his closed left eye. Sage screeched in pain as he staggered back. "I'll get you for this! I'm not through with you yet!" he exclaimed, picking up his Ender Blade before teleporting out of the chamber and back into the End.

Soon after all this, Endie agreed to live with Carina and Boom in Witherville. And soon they began forming what would become an unbreakable bond. However little did they know, in the not so distant future, this friendship would be put to the test.
