Hmmmm is it ok if I can critique this drawing of yours? If you are let me say first it's a wonderful drawing and I like the dark feeling it has to it! Nice detail on the wax for the candle and what a awesome fire ypu drew!
But I think the candle light should be a bit brighter because it's somewhat hard to see the candle, but it's not too hard to see. Also I think this drawing feels a bit empty...(if it's supposed to be that type ofn feeling for this drawing then well done on that part) this is only a suggestion you don't have to change anything if you don't want to but I was thinking maybe adding a few things in the background but making the candle the center of the drawing like overlapping the things you know what I mean right? But this is still a very good piece!
Well, judging by the color choice you did for the background I'd say put something really old fansion say like....an old attic or maybe even a very VERY old library, or a tree-house that has been abandoned, and since it's a dark atmosphere to it I'd make that background with something grey in it the type of grey that is glowing around the candle only a bit brighter so it won't blend in with the candle. Are those good suggestions?

I agree. Thanks. What sort of things would you draw in the background?

I think you captured the feeling pretty well. Just wondering what is the white line next to it?

Maybe the white line is some kind of moster druling over the candle. Man my spelling is horrible!!!
