(Zaydn keeps hammering away. This was how he cleared his pained mind, by making hundreds of weapons.
Night Fang slithers down the stairs and looks at him.)
Zaydn: "....Shhhaaazzzaaa.... Shhhzzzznaaaassssyyyyyaaaaassss...... sssssszzzzzzllllaaaaaaazaaaa...."
(Night Fang returns up stairs)

(Night Fang looks at the book... then she leaves the house through a hidden passageway. Zaydn keeps working)

(Night Fang returns, holding a Crag Crawler in her mouth. She drops it in the middle of the room and curls up, part of her belly bulging)

(She nuzzels Shademaster. She stares at Shademaster, then the Crag Crawler, then the fireplace.
She curls up around Ezniers' chair)

(Night Fang nods and licks his hand)

(She curls up around them both and sleeps happily. Zaydn can still be heard hammering away and working non-stop.)

(Zaydn finishes off the blade. He heads up stairs, making his way outside with the blade. He gets on Yenra's back and they take off)

(Zaydn raises the blade in the air and Yenra dives near a crag and Zaydn cuts it right in half. They return.)
Zaydn: "It's ready Eznier.
(He presents it to him. It is a deep-lustrous red with the red gem in it's pommel. It is four and a half feet long.)
Zaydn: "If you want I can inscribe it."

(He goes inside and inscribes it. The black symbol for Forgiven inside the jewel, on the blade itself, and on it's scabbard. The handle is leather strips woven skillfully into a comfortable, yet powerful grip. The blade itself has wavey bands of lighter red and silver throughout it, making it look like red rippling fire. He presents the finished blade to Eznier.)

Zaydn: "It will never dull, rust or break. It can even cut through some enchantments. It will last forever. ......Forever Forgiven..."
(Night Fang nuzzels Zaydn. He sits in her volumous coils and rests his aching body)
Zaydn: "....urrrgggghhh...."
(he pets her head)

Zaydn: "Enjoy it. I will serve you well.... Wait. I forgot something. Come here with that."

Zaydn: "Using a gem, one can store their excess energy in it. It will never deminish. You can use this energy at anytime. It can store limitless power. Here, I'll show you."
(he moves his hand over the f
jewel and transfers some of his energy into it.)
Zaydn: "Give me your hand."
(he moves Ezniers' hand over the jewel. He can feel energy surge in the stone. He teaches Eznier how to add or take away the energy.)
Zaydn: "You can do this to any gemstone. It is quite useful. There is more to this techique, but... It's dangerous and not taught much anymore. Only to those who are proficent at the skill and are trusted... plus it takes years to learn correctly. Well, it's finally done."
(he sits back down on Night Fang again and she eyes his hurt arm sadly)

Zaydn: "Hardly... could you hand me my sword? I feel... faint..."

Zaydn: "What do I have to be careful of?
(Using the energy in his blade, he heals his arm, rests his tired limbs and is fully energized again.)
Zaydn: "Feel how much energy I've stored over these long years... everyday almost I would add to it."
(sure enough, there is enought energy to throw a mountain inside one gem alone)

(Zaydn tries to get up)
Zaydn: "Ah! ...that's not a good idea... ow..."
(he rubs his sore back and sits back down in Night Fangs coils)
Yenra: *yawn* "Ah... I need to strech my aching wings... anyone care for a ride?"
Zaydn: "I don't... my back is being a jerk..."
(he rubs his back again as he gets mini-siezures)

(Zaydn waves his hand absent mindedly)
Zaydn: "Sure, go ahead. I don't care. He offered to give you a ride, so go ahead."
Yenra: "Alright.... wanna see the Drakon's bones? They are not far from here.
Shademaster, if you want, when we get there you can see them through my eyes if you want."
