Why would practicing the basic frame be awkward? When you master it minor alterations and varients can be applied to most vertibrat species with the slightest of ease. In English, once you have an understanding of the basic structure you can draw anything with a spine pretty easily.

I always some how sit in the chair with buble gum on the bottom. AT MY CHURCH! So many chairs. But I sit on that one chair. Ocward. Bubble gum, good. Chair, great. Bubble gum under the chair, nasty piece of crap.
