Ive been planning to (got 2 year warenty) but the darn people at best buy wont transfer your data to your new 3ds! Its not evan new, they just call it new because its referbished and quote unquote "New to you" :P

Im going to have to send it in to Nintendo, so ill be lucky to have it back in three weeks >.>

Well, i planed on doing this latter, but now that my 3ds is broken i mind as well do it now. So i wanted to start a "top 3 followers" Competition. Any follower of mine can enter. To win is by submitting a work of your art (can be old or new) To: #TopFollowersOne Ill judge each painting you submit, (You may only submit one) I will choose the top 3 paintings by 3 different followers and will put them into a painting as 1st 2nd and 3rd. (Ill use the painters O.C unless they don't want me to) The tricky part is that it may end at any time Nearing the end of this month. (this one may be longer depending on when my 3ds is repaired and sent back. So any follower who's interested, Upload it to that hash-tag and ill be sure to check it out. :D Thanks

Sorry Lizardboy about your ThreeDS and for not re-giving the explanation. I didn't want to re-write all of it and the info that I had given would have not help at all. I hope your ThreeDS will come back soon. It's really nice to see that you're staying active on Colors! ThreeD.

*ATTENTION* Lizardboy is not gone everybody, his Nintendo ThreeDS is taking a very long time to be processed and repaired by the Nintendo factory that is responsible for repairing Nintendo merchandise. Very good customer service indeed......-__- Its been several months and my poor friend here still hasn't recieved his fixed ThreeDS. <Lizardboy, if you see this, I've been tied up with College, which means I have less free time to enjoy. I might be less active on Colors ThreeD, but I won't stop completly. I'm so sorry you didn't get your ThreeDS back yet. That just flat out sucks; it DOES NOT take that long to actually fix a ThreeDS, ONE WEEK MAX to get all the parts and repair it. You should DEFINITELY file a customer service complaint. Its just wrong that it is taking this long.>

Good news! My 3DS should (finally) be fixed withing the next few weeks! I cannot wait to get back to drawing! :D

The same thing happened to me. only mine would pop and then not turn on. it's most likely water damage. Like mine got messed up because i'd leave it in the bathroom uncovered when i shower. and all the steam would m.ess it up. i just waited 10 months and bought a new one.

So bad news.
Nintendo sent back my 3ds unrepaired . The gave us a note stating that "The product has been physically altered, such as opening the system, installing aftermarket housing, modifying the PC board." And this is something that I alerted the person I was talking to about when sending in my 3DS. It is a "Refurbished" 3DS from best buy, meaning some parts of it are not its original...
anyway, they then go on to say, "A system that has been altered is permanently damaged and cannot be brought back to its original working condition. I, did not want my 3ds to work, all I wanted (witch is something that the guy told me) is for my data to be moved to a BRAND NEW 3ds that is not "REFURBISHED".
And I know its not broken because you can still turn it on, it just short circuits. (witch i googled as a fixable thing)
They didnt even bother to state specifically whats wrong with it if it is permanent broken like, "cracked mother board" they just looked at it and didn't even bother to try fixing it. Or move the data on it.
So, as you can imagine, I am vary unhappy. Now, I have to contact Nintendo do figure out what to do, then maybe call Best buy, and then send it in again, Maybe. They may just make me get a new one.
So ill be lucky to get it back after spring break.
I am really... I just have no words, on how badly Nintendo has failed.
Also sorry about spelling errors, im sort of typing this in a rage, and I'm vary vary sad. :(
