Haven't really attempted to shiny breed yet (could either do Gardevoir or Lucario). Have you gotten the hatching o-power? I'm not sure what the best strategy for using it would be.
Go to the Friend Safari and go to one with Charmilion. The odds are lowered there cuz i've found 3 shinies there by accident. Its quicker than the egg method.
Hah I'm using the Masuda method for a shiny Venipede on Black/White, 430 hatches so far with no sparkles, and surprisingly I haven't gone insane yet. I have found two other pokemon through chaining lately though. ( Dragalge and Fletchling )
