Oh this is cool!^-^ A cat that can ripe a hole in the fabric of time and space!

(Okay, I'm here and ready to RP!)
The bus rolled to a slow stop, but even before the wheels stopped turning, a short girl leapt off the open-doored vehicle with a whoop, most likely giving many of the elderly women on board heartattacks. Her black combat boots hit the sidewalk with a smack, her legs collapsing under her to soften the impact. Light grey leggings were worn underneath dark navy blue shorts and seemed a blurr as Rin broke into a sprint, bright green shoulder bag bouncing as her wild brown and reddish hair flew behind her in a long braid. The beach passed by, as did a newly rebuilt resturaunt and Beypark as the small girl kept running faster than one would expect. Her amber eyes were focused in only one direction, and eventually settled on a single house placed back in the woods. She stopped at a thick redwood door, and Rin fell to her knees, huffing. With a weak hand she knocked on the door, while trying to stop hyperventalating and preventing herself from throwing up on her stormy blue and silver shirt. /I told you not to run so hard./ /Shut it, Lynx./ (obviously she's grown up a bit, and thing have changed a bit since then. ^^ This is going to be EPIC!)

(That's perfect, Dragon! Squee, I adore it so far!! ^^ ) Rin jerked her head up from her lap when the door opened, quickly jumping to her feet, only to come face to face with Kyoya's big hair and bare, scarred chest. She jumped back quickly with a small yelp. "Hi, Yo-Yo!" Rin then giggled when she heard Johannes racing down the stairs. Instead though, the cat-boy was overtaken by an entergetic K. Rin, her breath having job come back to her lungs, completely stop breathing when she was crushed in her friend's excited embrace. "Heehee, h-hi, K. I see y-you're st-still strong...Tooooo strong....Kit-ty!!" As if on cue, Johannes jumped off the last few steps and grabbed Rin out of K's hands, purring slightly as Rin breathed into his shirt. Rin smiled as she looked at his bright eyes, then jumped out of his arms. "It's great to be back, guys!!" Johannes stood by her with a hand on her shoulder, which to his surprise came up to his collarbone. The little girl had grown up a bit in the months she had been gone, with little communication to her friends.

(Was not lame, you encompassed all the main charaters in the house! And Kitty, squee! I can't wait to see how K and the others have changed. :3)

Rin laughed quietly at the antics of K and Kyoya and Ryuuga, then felt Johannes move beside her. With a big smile she grabbed the boy's hat and chastely pecked his cheek. She turned around when Ryuuga took Kyoya out into the hall, and gasped when she saw a green lion and golden dragon sitting in the room, physically there. With wonder-filled eyes she looked at K, a big smile on her face. "I've missed you all too!!! It was so...lonely where I was, and it's great to be back!" She gasped once again when her friend held up a shining silver necklace of a lynx. She gently took the necklace, but instead of putting it on, placed it in her pocket as she heard shouting of someone familiar. She spun around like an excited child as Ivan walked in, walking around Kyoya and Ryuuga fighting like angry trolls. "IVAN!!!" With a happy yelp she jumped up from the couch, grabbing Johannes's arm and pulling him into a group hug with the Russian blader. "I've missed you guys and wow you've got some muscle!" With a giggle she made room for K to hug the boy and instead walked over to the two fighting boys. She quickly pulled the necklace K had given her out of her pocket and placed it around her neck. It glowed slightly, and a stormy blue lynx materialized, flexing its claws as if trying out its new skin. With a hiss Rin pulled the two boys apart, surprising strength letting her shake them up slightly. "Let off!" /You've gotten muscle as well, Rin./ /Yep, and I'm not afraid to show it, Lynx./

Rin laughed out loud as Ryuuga and Kyoya were banished from the scene, then walked over to Johannes, patted him on the head as if to praise his behaviour, then sat down with her back resting against the couch, hugging Lynx tightly. "It's amazing, I can actually feel him outside of a battle!" Lynx purred lowly and rubbed against her, but really his eyes were slightly worried. /What if they notice-/ /Hush, it'll be fine. Besides, I think K can read our minds. I wouldn't put it passed her./ She smiled at him, though it seemed somewhat forced this time as she looked back at her friends. "So, how have things been?! I've been out on my own so long, I need some exciting news!" (The thinking conversation Lynx and Rin had was just a little something exciting for later, I suppose.)

Rin simply sat and pet Lynx as she waited for her two angry friends to return, flinching slightly at the few slamming noises. /Hopefully that is a fist on tree, not face./ Soon the two returned, and K dragged them into a group hug that was a bit too tight for Rin's taste. When they released, she smiled wide, almost too wide to be normal, and grabbed Lynx's ear for support. "I'm ready to talk, if you're ready. I'll go first. Anything for my friends." With a deep breath she sat on the floor slowly, Lynx wrapping around her protectively.

Rin stared at Ivan in shock, then leapt up from her place on the floor and enveloped the Russian in a hug bigger than her own body. "I-i am so sorry Ivan. That is absolutely horrible...but, we can be your family now, if you want us to be..." Tears slipped down her face at the thought of what her friend must have endured.

Rin nodded into Ivan's jacket at his answer, then spoke equally as quiet. "Might as well tell my end of the story." She gently pulled away from her friend's embrace, and instantly felt alone, and her stomach responded by trying to run away without her body. "I-i....went around the world, travelling and battling. Alaska was my favorite, so open and hiding only the strongest bladers. There was even a tournament just for space-oriented bladers! Well, apparently the big adventure we had made me and Lynx stronger than we thought, and we dominated." Her eyes grew bright for a minute, but then they dimmed and filled with water. "And then I was approached by the director of the tournament, and she told me that I was better than almost any other blader she had ever seen, and that made me upset because we ARE better, ya know? So I challenged her, and guess what? I won. She congragulated me by knocking me unconcious and doing this to my arm-" With a loud sniffle, she moved her sleeve and showed a eight-point star, some parts thicker, with a moon in the center. Her eyes grew wide just at the sight, and some tears came to her eyes. "I am now a member of a group of bladers called the 'Nebula School for the Powerful. And I have to be back in a week and...and I'm scared and confused and don't what to do! They'll take Lynx away from me, K! And it's a brand and tracking device and I'm so scared, Ivan!!" Tears ran down her face in streams as Lynx clutched her shoulder with his paw, eyes concerned and worn-down. (sorry, my wi-fi is heinous)

Rin's mind blanked as K grabbed her tightly and began to rant about protecting her, and with a gasp saw the same mark reflected on the blonde girl's wrist. /K has been everywhere dangerous...and overcome it. And Ivan can be ripped from his family and care more about others. We'll be okay.../ Thoughts buzzed through Rin's head faster than she could make sense of them as she saw everyone through her watery eyes, all gathering and planning and comforting her. Shuddering sobs wracked her small body and were absorned by Johannes, who held her tight. An overwhelming need to stop crying filled her brain, but the tears kept flowing after being held in so long. Already she had been introduced to some of the disiplines and training the 'school' had to offer, and it had broken her emotionally. Now she was surrounded by friends ready to lay down there lives for her safety. She shuddered again. "Th-thank you all so, s-so much." /Rin, we will be safe./ Lynx said as he climbed onto the couch and laid beside the two bladers. (I have to go for tonight, but I'll be back tomorrow, okay?)

Rin had cried herself into numb, half-asleep state, her eyes red and droopy. Johannes still held her, but he himself was knocked out from the couch's softness. With a small sigh, Rin gently pulled away from the awkward position, replacing herself with a pillow for the boy to hold. The small girl's silent, bare feet nevertheless awakened Lynx, who's bright blue eyes were wide open in an instant and he was following at her heels. They were both used to the freedom of roaming and sleeping whenever they preferred, not dictated by the moon or sun as others were. Quietly they slipped out the front door and passed the front yard, into the woods and the silence of the trees. Rin crept up into one with low, swooping branches and slid over to allow room for Lynx, then together they climbed higher and higher, until the limbs swayed under their combined weight. "So," Rin breathed, her words barely moving the foliage around them. "do you really think K will save us?" Lynx looked surprised at the girl's implied negativity. /Of course, Rin. If she has been through it relatively unscathed, she can help all of us./ The small blader hummed in apparent thought for a moment, then shook her head. "I suppose so." She looked down at her shoulder where the mark sat like a demon, whispering doubts to her heart. Her amber eyes narrowed and wrinkled her nose in distaste, almost like an animal would, then she sighed and grabbed a second branch, tying it around the one they sat upon, creating a kind of triangular seat upon which the pair reclined, the whispering wind lulling them to sleep.

With a jerk and a yelp of nightmare-caused terror Rin fell out of the duo's bed frame, smacking into a few other branches before coming to a hard stop on a thick limb. Between labored breaths curses were breathed, and wide amber eyes were filled with pain as she b'led from multiple new puncture wounds....

Lynx was beside her in moments, checking her spine and skull for fractures. When he found none, he looked straight into her eyes. /Rin, can you hear me?/ "Of course I-I can. Get K to c-come help, blast i-it!" Lynx nodded and leapt down the tree, nose angled upward as he attempted to track down the blonde girl. Rin meanwhile climbed down the branches, or moreso fell slowly with many hisses of pain and curses, until she landed on the ground with a jolt, vision going blurry for a moment as she tried to breathe. /Stu.pid nightmares. Stupid tree!/ Her mind suddenly clicked on something, and her heart leapt. /K'll find the scars from my 'initiation' and go in'sane!/ With an angry moan the small girl looked at where her shirt was ripped across the stomach and glared at the old bandages protecting many lasurations from being seen. These were in a complex pattern, portraying the constellation for which Lynx was made. /Lynx, stop!/ But her companion had already arrived at K's hiding spot. (Bye guys! Hope it's okay!)

(That was brilliant, both of you! This is easily one of the best RPs I've ever been in! K was perfectly imperfect, which makes it all the better.)
Rin breathed a bit easier now that she had had time to rest and her wounds were bandaged, including the scars on her back. Johannes fussing over her with large, sad eyes helped as well. She was concerned, however, by the fact that K had deposited her and just as quickly left, by what she could gather from her friends's frantic discussions going on around her. Through her foggy brain she heard Lynx, who sat beside her, stiff and protective. /I apologize that she found your marks./ /It's not your fault, Lynx, I shouldn't have fallen...shouldn't have even fought in that tournament to begin with!/ Suddenly the front door opened with a bang, causing the small girl to flinch. K walked in, and for a moment Rin felt happy, but that feeling was quickly dashed when the blonde girl did not smile, instead only handing the cake and ice cream to Rin coldly. The small girl stared at the food, not feeling the least bit hungry, and instead clenched the container of frozen cream in her hands until it almost popped. Tears were at the edge of her vision, and though she felt childish, she glanced up at K with wide, somewhat stormy eyes. "I-I'm sorry...I really, re-really am, K! I sh-shouldn't have ever go-gone there, and I-i don't want you t-to get hurt because of me. A-any of you! I-i'm such an i-idiot..." She sat there, staring at them all for a moment before crumpling into herself, sniffling and growling at her childish weakness. The scars on her back felt sharply painful, as if punishing her for her outburst. (blah, bad writing powers, go!)

(Beautiful, Dragon!!! K's personality is so complex, and I love how you're able to move the plot along using only words and thoughts. )
Rin sniffled and began to stop her tears as Ivan returned, sitting near both of his teammates. The small girl gave both her companions a hopeful smile as K promised their safety. The song she played sounded eerily like one her mother used to play, though the words were different. The blonde bladee's words and soft gaze calmed Rin down enough to where she could see actual details in her vision, and she hugged Lynx tightly to comfort them both. After K had left, the others began to retire to their own rooms after checking on Rin and Ivan one last time. Johannes was the last to leave, needing a solemn oath from his shorter girlfriend that she would not sneak out of the house, nor di.e in the middle of the night before he eventually went into his own room upstairs. Now only Ivan, Rin, and their personified companions were left in the living room. The petite female looked down at some of her bandages as if they were the source of all her problems, then opened her mouth to speak somewhat nervously. "So...doesn't it seem slightly strange that this 'School' decided to recruit us-myself utterly horrible at being avil, and yourself not even technically 'space-oriented'-just after the entire mess with K, the strongest blader anyone has ever known, who apparently also was once in the school?" Her voice had grown more worried as she stated her theory, until Lynx glanced at her in slight concern. /Calm yourself, Rin. You will wake everyone else./ Rin shook her head, eyes wide. /It just seems...off, that this would happen after we hung out with K so much, as if they want to get to her, or...she is a part of the whole recruiting process./ /Rin, do not speak of such things! She has saved you two many times, and you her! You three have a bond!/ /I-i know.../

Rin glanced back up at Ivan, her sharp hearing catching every word the strong Russian boy spoke. Her brainnbegan to imagine how painful that must have been, and flinched slightly. "I'm so sorry....it must have hurt even when I hugged you...." A painful silence filled the room, feeling like a choking haze to the same blader. Finally she spoke what had been on her mind for a while now; "This may be difficult for you to think about now, but how did they get you? It may help us find out exactly how they work."

Rin looked at Ivan with eyes that were both calculating and empathetic, creating a very mixed expression. /He's lying about the pain, boys always do.../ She nodded in thought, then curled up, hugging her knees as she remembered her time at the 'school'. "They decided c.utting my back wasn't 'special' like how yours was burned. They cut it using launched beys. They used two metal claws to hold me straight, and shot at me. And yes, I heard near the same thing with Lynx and I. I never thought having such a close bond could be bad..." She shook her head and yawned. With an apologitic smile she gripped Lynx. "I'm whipped, and planning to beat the 'scholl maters' is not easy when you're half-asleep. Night Ivan."

After the Russian blader had left, Rin got up off the couch and stretched, then sat cross-legged on the floor, patting in front of her, motioning for Lynx to sit there. He did, understanding what was occuring. /Too scared to sleep?/ "Terrified, but I'm exhausted, so I thought maybe we could meditate a bit? That always refreshes me." /Of course. It will be interesting now that I am a physical mass./ The small girl chuckled at that and placed her forehead against Lynx's, gripping his ears gently. Their breathing slowed and matched pace, and after a few long minutes everything faded from their minds except the energy that was drifting around their heads. Lynx's fur and eyes began to glow, and slowly and out-of-sync, Rin's scars and mark on her arm did too, flickering slightly. The room radiated their stormy blue and aqua glow as their minds wandered freely. This ability had come from their monthes alone around the world, getting stronger the more they practiced. Rin was able to see everything around her, and as she focused harder, her sight expanded even fa.rth.er out, reaching the beach where a few dolphins breached the water, following some late seagulls that were blowing in from the gulf. Rin sighed, content for the first time in a while. (tbc)

Rin's vision of the beach blurred slightly as a new sound caught her attention. This sound seemed real, and much closer. The small blader realized in a few moments that this sound was near her physical body. When the sound ended, though, Rin allowed herself to slip back into her meditation. That was until a series of bangs shocked the brunette girl back into the present, leaping to her feet even though her vision was still swimming with aqua light. Lynx raised himself to his feet, glow fading from his pelt-he could always recover faster than Rin, as if to protect her. With a snarl, the companion lead Rin to the door. The small girl opened it and came face-to-face with a girl sporting firey-tipped locks of hair and calculating eyes. Rin's amber eyes were tinged with cold blue light that glowed in su.spi.cion at the girl. With a nervous smile, Rin stood in front of the door, blocking anyone from evntering without going through her. "Um, hi. Who are you, may I ask?" /Rin, what are you doing?!/ /Um, asking who this person is?/ /She may not be safe! Shut the door!/ Rin's skin pr'ic.kled at her friend's words, but grit her teeth and smiled wider, waiting for the mysterious girl's answer. Never did she sense her two teammates facing off with the stranger. (Oh, Rin, you can be so stupid sometimes. ^^' )

Rin jumped visable when K dropped down from her apparent perch on the roof and began threatening the girl. Much to her surprise, the strange female, who seemed as if she was one who enjoyed hurting people, stayed calm through the entire rant. Her words brought a rock slamming into the small blader's stomach, though. /Nebula School....she's here for Ivan and I. How did she even find us?!/ Lynx, who had been quietly seething in the background now but.ted past Rin and glared at the newcomer, sensing an immediete aura of darkness. His sharp blue eyes narrowed and took in her moving eyes as if she was silently communicating with something, before he relented to her calm exterior. /Best see what she wants, so we can prepare for what's coming.../ Rin looked at her partner before nodded, still somewhat out of sorts. "K...let's let her in." And with that, she swung open the door, allowing anyone passage.

Rin had sat on the floor near the couch where K had planted herself to have eye-contact with the strange girl. Rin watched the conversation-moreso a hurling of threats between the two older girls-with a calculating eye, searching their body language and facial expressions for any sign of lying or erupting emotions. So of course Rin saw K's furious and strangely terrified outburst moments before it occurred, giving the small female blader just enough time to steel her nerves. However, her skill for reading people was not prepared for the girl, Alex, rushing out after the blonde, leaving her dark companion to watch Ivan, Rin, and everyone else in the house. /Obviously he is extremely strong if she left him to guard everyone in the house..../ She thouggt as she stared at his dark purple eyes. She took a deep breath, trying to decide what to do. Lynx submitted his opinion after a bit of fruitless thinking on the girl's part. /I would suggest staying here and meditating to follow the two./ Rin pondered this for a moment, then nodded and after sitting with Lynx slipped into the relaxed state of half-conciousness. With concerned eyes she watched all the happenings, becoming increasingly confused at Alex's words and actions. When the new girl fell to her knees in obvious emotional and mental pain, Rin simply pondered everything she had seen so far. /It seems that this girl hates what has been done to her desperately.../

Rin blinked open her heavy eyes as both girls returned to the house in various states of anger and confusion. Rin smiled at K as the younger stood on shaky legs, gently moving past her friend with a whisper of thanks, then stood in front of Alex, chin tilted up slightly so she could make eye-contact. For a moment the amber irises were cold, then they broke in empathy as she gripped the female in a tight hug. She pulled away and said: "I know you won't hurt us. Thank you." (TBC)

With a bright smile Rin walked over to K, pulling her arm like a young child directing her parents. "C'mon, K. She may be our only chance to get away from the Nebula." She glanced up at Ivan, silently asking him to come down and help get the two girls to work together. Her stomach still churned in insecurity at her decision. /What if I'm leading all my friends to to.r.ture?!/ But her smile stayed in place, if only twitching slightly.

Rin was knocked for a loop twice in only moments; once when Alex rejected her invitation of friendship, the next when K refused to go. A confusing mix of anger, sadness and other emotions bubbled inside of her, making her unable to think. /Rin, calm down..../ Lynx could feel the small girl reaching her point of snapping, and gently rubbed against her to calm her down, but only made her feel worse, like she was being treated like a child who needed comfort. She looked up at K and released her arm, eyes going slightly colder. "Don't be a fool, K. They will tear you apart on the lab table and never let you see your friends or loved ones again. You're too stubborn to see that runhing is your only chance right now." Her voice had both a pleading note and a hint of snarl in it, showing her confused emotions. She then glanced to Ivan, who was sitting off to the side with his companion, silent as usual. The young blader clenched her fists, trying to control her emotions. She turned to Alex, mouth a straight line. "Are we going or not?"

Rin smiled in relief at K's colapse into agreement, then spun around at Johannes's words. Her eyes went wide as she realized being safe meant leaving her friends and boyfriend. "Kitty...." She frowned, eyes big and sad. "We gotta leave for a bit. During my vacation, these people, 'Nebula' caught me and Ivan and forced us into one of their academies. Alex here is willing to help us escape, but that means leaving you for awhile." She quickly hugged the boy, feeling his stiff muscles in the chill and almost able to see his tired brain trying to work it all out. Once it did, his eyes went wide, pupils slit, and his grip tightened considerably around her torso. "But you just got back..." His voice sounded as if it was close to breaking, and so Rin simply smiled sadly. "Hey, I'll be back once we make a plan and kick their tails. Or step on them." A small chuckle wscaped Johannes's lips, and he reluctently released the small girl, allowing her feet to touch the ground once more. With a sigh he chastely kissed her forhead, then hugged Lynx as well. "Take care of her." Lynx nodded once, then stood beside Rin as she walked over to Alex's bike. She looked at Kyoya and Ryuuga in sadness as she watched them interact with K. /This is harder than I thought. Leaving our friends, only to maybe get caught and never see them again.../ /Don't think that way./ Lynx rubbed his head against her leg. /We'll be fine.../

Rin gaped at Alex'a gorgeous black wings, her mind reeling slightly. /Did...Nebula do that to her? Why would they alter peoples genetic makeup like that?/ After staring for a dozen long moments, Rin snapped her eyes away, only to see K and Kyoya kissing. /Well, that took a while, hmm?/ Lynx nodded, a wry smile on his muzzle. /Indded it did; with K's outgoing nature I would have assumed it to not take nearly as long. But girls will be girls, I suppose./ Rin laughed and smacked her partner's ears, causing him to hisd in alarm. Her expression sobered slightly, however, when the rest of her team began to prepare for their journey. She saw Ivan and Frost obviously comunicating, and Frost seemed as if he was going to run. /He can, he's a wolf; They're meant to run long distances!/ She glanced down at Lynx in slight concern, his smaller stature not made for running so far so fast. /You'll have to go back to your bey, I suppose. But how....?/ She glanced at K, who seemed to be busy. She closed her eyes. /I hope I don't mess this up./ With deft fingers she undid the clasp of her necklace, slowly taking it from around her neck, watching as Lynx phased out of existence. /Lynx?/ Rin asked nervously, sighing when she heard a purr in responce. She nodded and then messed with her backpack straps, making sure they were tight enough to stay secured during their rapid drive to the old mansion. "Alright then...." She sighed and and sat beside the bike, looking at K with slightly scared eyes.

Rin smiled at Alex as she soared in the air, full of unbridaled happiness. /She obviously feels joyous when expirencing the freedom of flight./ Rin nodded at Lynx's assumption, then climbed onto the motor bike with mounting fear. She giggled nervously at K's reassurances. "I'm sure you are, but the question is if I am a good rider or not." Nevertheless, the short blader sat still, trying to balance her weight correctly. /Be a lynx, they're balanced./ She waited for Ivan to climb on behind her, a lump in her throat. /Won't go less than a hundred miles an hour?! Who does that?!/ She glanced up at the firey-haired girl who had moments before dove head-first towards the ground without an ounce of fear. /....That actually makes a lot of sense.../

Rin yelped at the sound of explosions not far off. /People have died./ Lynx stated in a monotone. Rin nodded sadly, eyes closed shut and face pressed into K's back in terror, like a child. The grinding in the engine of the bike made her skin crawl and tears fall down her face as she held onto K as the blonde girl attempted to get the engine to work, urgency making her movements jerky. /Do something. Work a miracle, K. Please./

Rin squeaked as she was ripped away from K and the bike by K's good partner. She watched with wide eyes as K tried to control the out-of-control motorcucle, only succeeding in slidding it across the lawn. Rin's breathing paused as her friend went rolling. Only when the blonde girl stood up did the small blader breathe a sigh of relief, which hitched in her throat as K, seemingly confused and in a daze, began walking towards the very people they had been trying to escape. "K!!!" Rin screamed, then began thrashing in the dragon's grip. She sucked in a breath and made herself small, slipping from the creature's hold, rolling when she reached the ground. /Glad I didn't die./ She broke into a sprint towards her friend and tackled her. "Sorry." She muttered as she began dragging the taller girl back towards her partner. "Alex!" She called deserately to the flying girl, hoping her voice would carry up into the wind. Behind her the engines revved almost as if they were predators anxious to attack.

Rin had gone into shock when Shadow Cat had grabbed her shirt's neck, choking her. Her mind attempted to understand what Alex had said, and what had occurred with K, but when it couldn't, it receeded into the back of her conciousness. Only when an explosion rocked the surface she sat on did the short girl blink out of her stupor. She shaking limbs she picked herself up off the cold wooden floor. /...how did I get here?/ Lynx responded gruffly. /Alex's companion carried you and Ivan to safety. Ivan is injured, and K is with Divine Dragon somewhere./ Rin blinked inconprehensibly. /But where's Alex?/ Then it struck her, and she raced to the broken window nearest to the place they had been outside. Her amber eyes glazed over as she spotted the firey haired girl covered in bloody wounds, seeming to not breathe. Silent tears streamed down her face once again, and nails dug into her palms, causing red liquid to begin to drip from them. /She's....she was trying to protect us....and now....and K...where's K? ....everything's falling apart....and..../ With a sob she fell to the ground and grabbed the thing nearest her in a broken embrace: Shadow Cat. No sounds reached her ears except her crying, and a few choked out words: "I-I'm s-so sooorry! We r-ruined ever-rything!!"

Rin jerked back when she heard Shadow's voice in her mind; it was velvety, yet gravelly at the same time. The words she spoke caused the small girl to look around the apartment. Ivan was the first thing she saw, pale from pain and held in an almost cardle of ice. The girl stared for a moment, eyes unreadable. /...I can't help....I don't....know how....only K does..../ A dark chuckle escaped her lips. With a shudder from her protestingly-exhausted body, Rin stood,mfists still clenched. "It is my fault. And I'm going to go make up for it." With that she slammed out through the door, racing down the stairs, ignoring her sc.rea.ming muscles. She finally released her deathgrip on the air to fetch the pendant from her pocket, putting it on but not activating it yet. ( @Night: do you want her to go get Alex, going to drag her to safety for a proper burial and discover she's alive, or go attack the Nebula? Your choice, I don't want to mess up a plotline!)

Rin whipped around when Shadow got a hold of her torso just as she had slammed through the apartment's door. Fury burned in her eyes mixing with a growing shock and despair over everything that had happened. With a hiss the small girl thrashed against the cat's grip. "Th-they all deserve to d.ie!! Right now, for what they've done to us!! All of them!" Her scars itched with energy and glowed a stormy blue, flecks of black scattered in with it. A snarl was on her lips and tears leaving marks on her red face. "They w-wouldn't be able to touch me before I g-got to them!!! L-let me go! Let go of me, now!!" Her glaring eyes set on K. "Help me, K! Help m-me give them what t-they deserve for hurting our f-family!!" Amber eyes were ringed with red as she looked back to the body of Alex, and nails dug into Shadow's tail that held her. "I-i need to-" She lapsed into clawing and kicking once again, eyes shut in hatred. (Ouch, Rin, anger-issues. Well, it was bound to happen with everything she's gone through so quickly. Sorry if she hurts your characters. I have no control over her anymore. *Rin punches me*)

Rin was released by Shadow with a jolt that knocked her to the ground. The little girl's vision went blurry as she bumped her head against the apartment's long, stone wall trying to stand on her own two feet. When her sight came back to her, all the anger drained from her innmoments, leaving only sadness and shock. /What happened?/ /You....had a meltdown. Again./ Lynx called, finally being able to send his voice to her, past the emotions. Rin hissed slightly, standing on shaky legs, then gazed up to see Shadow battling both Divine Dragon and Drakos valiently. Her hair stood on end as K continued to attack Alex's partner. With a gasp she ran towards K, stumbling over broken sidewalk. She grit her teeth as her knees were bloodied from the impact against concrete, and her hands quickly reached and took a hold of her bey. "Lynx, stop them!! Let it rip!" Cosmic Lynx landed between K, her beys, and Shadow. In moments a black hole began swirling from the top, the air whipping at increasingly intense speeds. Stones scattered acrosd the ground began flying around, smacking Shadow and the two dragons. "ENOUGH!" Rin screeched, standing near Lynx, glaring at both K and Shadow, but staying away from Drakos. "Why're you all fighting eachother?! I don't want my friends hurt, only the Nebula! They hurt Alex and Ivan, K!" Suddenly, the sound of marching footsteps resounded against the ground, and the co.cking of dozens of guns. Rin went pale, looking over K's shoulder at the huge group of Nebula employees gathered in rows behind the group. "W-we should be....running...."

Rin had been frozen in place as she stared at the soldiers, Lynx keeping them away with his ever-growing black hole. /Rin..../ The bey warned, but his partner was transfixed by the sight of the shadows holding the Nebula in place so easily. /We wouldn't be able to touch them, and then she can so simply pin them all to the ground....Alex was amazing. Dark always seems to have it easier, huh? They don't have to follow the 'righteous' path, the one with all the obstacles. They can hurt people without remorse or consequence.../ She shook her head as a small crinkle sounded behind her, and narrowed amber eyes rested upon a small package of crackers. He stomach roared at the sight of the food, and with a snap she had grabbed the plastic-wrapped substance and grabbed Lynx even as he continued to spin, cutting into her fingers slightly and leaving the remains of his black hole swirling, dropping rocks. She raced up the stairs, mind turning to the Russian boy, half frozen and injured. When she smacked open the door, however, only the bare, cold floor greeted her. With wide eyes she stepped inside, looking around in disbelief, then sat down moments later, staring at the floor. /Ev-everyone's gone. They all left, just like that./ For a moment her eyes watered over, but with a deep breath the tears disappeared, replaced with anger. "Who cares?! They gave up too easily and left the others to die!" Thoughts or the school of Nebula ran through her anger-clouded mind; how even as they were scarring her back, they whispered words of encouragement and strength, that the pain would end soon, and everything she went through would make her stronger. How the other students had looked at her 'beyblading stats' the tournament had produced with admiration. (Obviously they were appealing to her sweet nature and aren't really this way, not to mention Rin is furious right now and when you're mad you look for anything else, even if it's a horrible choice.) With a shaky breath she stood, looking around with hatred. /Rin.....don't do what I think you're about to do./ Lynx hissed, his voice nervous. /Be quiet, Lynx! I know what I'm doing! They abandoned me anyways, why should I care?!/ /Rin-!/ With an angry snarl Rin pushed Cosmic Lynx as deep into her bag as possible, to smother his wise words. With a glare, she pulled the pendant out of her back pocket, somehow still undamaged, and threw it skittering across the wood floor. She then raced out of the apartment flat, down the steps two at a time, and burst out of the door, sprinting towards the few un-wrecked vans, hands raised unthreateningly. (Whoops.... D: )

(Yeah, this RP is much deeper than the first in many places, and very dynamic. They'll calm down soon, though...hopefully.)
Rin yelped as K tackled her, and her eyes narrowed in fury at her friend's words. "Get....off me!" She was ready to struggle, only for the pressure of the blonde girl's weight to be roughly tossed off. The small blader felt a hand helping her up, and she looked at a face framed by glasses, a wry smile on the woman's lips. "I get the feeling that you're not going to fight." The Nebula soldier said, to which Rin nodded and spoke with a cold tone directed towards K. "That is correct, ma'am. I would appreciate your help, honestly." Her eyes locked on K for a moment, and though anger still stayed in her eyes, a bit of sadness was taking residence in her irises. /Rin, stop! You are being ridiculous!! She was obviously trying to SAVE you!/ Lynx was finally able to break through the mental barrier his partner had placed up, and quickly tried to strike a note with her diminished better judgment. /I'm just...done, Lynx. They will abandon me again, and black me out. I want somewhere safe..../ /You're talking nonsense!! She was trying to protect you ALL, and made a few mistakes! Shadow was correct, you're wasting the only chance Alex gave up everything for!/ Rin shook her head, staying where she was, ignoring her friend except a small worm of doubt now placed in her stomach.
