Because of his ability he really enjoys good fights, though he doesn´t usually kill his opponents (unless they deserve it). If he gets defeated, he only sees it as a reason to go train some more.
Ragna often gets mad if someone talks bad about his "race", the Xaerta, because he is proud to be one of them (even if his blood has only about 1/32 of a Slython) and hates people who tell lies about them. He always acts tough around other people, but he cares for them more than he wants to show. Try to hurt one of his friends and... you´ll see what a living weapon is capable of. His partner Joker often tells him to loosen up a bit, but the only answer the strategist would get is "I am loosened up. You don´t want to see me when I´m angry." And in fact, if he´s angry, it´s hell on earth all over again. (like when someone hurts his friends... in fact he´s overprotective, especially when it comes to children, animals or people who get followed despite being innocent.)

Ability: His element is "weapons"; Subelement "metal". Therefore his name in the tournaments was "the living weapon". As soon as he picks up a weapon (made out of metal), his body builds a steady unit with it. His "Ildinr" first showed when he was 17. "Ildinr" is the name of this kind of power, which originates within a person. In Ragna´s case it were weapons, like Joker got "cards" and Lynden "books". The metal does not actually merge with his body, it just engulfes his hands without harming them. For Ragna it´s just like a longer arm. He sees the weapons as parts of his body, as if he was fighting bare-handed. That is also the reason why he can throw knifes or Axes very precisely.
The weaknesses of his power are - of course - that he needs a weapon to use it (Every Ildinr needs an object, but I´m not gunna tell you about them now). Furthermore, it really does only act as a part of his body. So the sword won´t magically fly into his hands if he reaches out for it. He actually has to touch it. Plus it won´t protect him like an Armor or move on its own.

Strenghts: (too lazy to write full sentences, so have some points.)

- He´s robust (do you even write it like dat)
- Good at throwing knifes & Axes and other stuff with metal in it
- LEEEROOOY (yes he´s good at storming in somewhere while Joker is still making plans)
- Can survive for 5 days without drinking or eating something
Weaknesses:
- (really) Unarmed combat
- staying calm when he´s really annoyed by something (see above)
- Surprise-attacks
- Not able to NOT kick someone who deserves it in the but.t
- Won´t fight against children or people who´d get killed by him if he hits them with his "hand" (sword.)
- His past always drags him down and sometimes leaves him sleepless for nights

Actual bio:
Ragna grew up with his parents as a nomad. His tribe were called the "Xaerta", meaning "halfblood" in an old language. Xaertas were hybrids between humans and other races that looked like humans, for example Slythons (shapeshifters who also have animal-parts in their human form, e.g. wolfears or the wings of a hawk.). However, the happy times didn´t last forever. At the age of twelve, his tribe got attacked and most of the people were killed. His mother and father protected him until they died, but in the end they couldn´t protect him from being abducted. The boy was sold as a slave, until a rich man bought him and brought him to his manner. They treated him worse than the dust on the ground. His name was either "filthy halfblood" or just "number 48". Every time he rebelled against them, he was just tortured in any possible way. His actions were a thorn in their eye. What he did encouraged the other slaves to stand up again. But as soon as they beat them down, they didn´t have the courage to rebel against them anymore.
Ragna was different. No matter how often he got tortured or beat down, he just got up again. He hated them for calling his tribe "dirty halfbloods". He was proud to be one of the people who did not judge others because they were born different.
Some day, he was about eighteen years old, they decided to just kill him off. But just a moment before they could actually cut his head off of his shoulders, someone bought him. Kilian, a young lady from a noble house. She pitied him when he saw his struggle. He´d die for nothing, just a faceless, nameless slave who dared to step up against the autority. /...

HELLO RAGNA!

On the way to his new "home", Ragna had mixed feelings towards that woman. On the one hand, she freed him from his prison and rescued him. On the other, he had no idea if it could even get worse. But the carriage was attacked by bandits. They tore him out of there and were about to kill him, while some others tried to get the girl. Laughter echoed through the desert-sand as they told each other what a good deal they made with the slave-master.
Immense anger floated up in his body. He was sold as a human being. And now that woman was sold to those bandits. In front of his eyes. He just grabbed the weapon that was pointed at his neck. And instead of hurting him, it was as if it would just become his hand. With one movement he killed the man in front of him. Not seeing the blood, just staring at them with his blue eyes, filled with hatred. It was a short battle, but the outcome was tragic. He managed to defeat them - yet he was not able to protect the girl who tried to save him. Shortly before she took her last breath, she gave him her collar - the sign of a free person, as she told him. From this moment on, he swore to himself to protect the people who were in need of it, even if they hated him for what he was. Because someone had to start it. Start the end of the senseless bloodshed.

Edit: The metal is actually able to fuse to his whole arm, but it´s very weak there, so weapons could cut through it. That´s why it looks like armor but isn´t actually real one.
