But this is only cell shading, not blending. Look at some of my most recent artworks, you can't do that using your technique. The way you do it (cell shading) is only good for stuff like anime, not for if you want something to look realistic...

uh...i think that was a bit too MUCH shading on the paper...anyway, ill veiw ur gallery if u veiw mine!:) please go to my gallery and like some of my paintings

You could also smoothen out the line so it fades into the shadow with a low transparency spraypaint brush. That's what I do and you'll see it when I post my next Mario Kart painting.
