They didnt shut it down !! They only discontinued one option: Spotpass! Now, its REALLY stupid to have streetpass avalible and not spotpass. With streetpass it goes to anyone who has a 3DS and u walk passed them. With spotpass, it goes to anyone u want tomsend it to. Such as ur friends! This might be opposite, maybe its streetpass discontinued and not spotpass!
