"That inconsiderate cu.nt of a Skarmory..." I hissed under my breath, stomping off through the beech forest. Amor was being a royal jerk to me as usual. I wasn't in the mood to inflict harm upon anything, but she insisted. I wasn't gonna do it, though. She couldn't make me. I quickly relaxed due to the tranquil surroundings. The sun was setting and the breeze was stirring the air and dry leaves that littered the ground. I stopped and sat at the base of a particularly wide tree, and quietly sighed to myself. My abnormally long tail coiled itself around me, and I began to whimper silently. The tears began slowly, slipping from the corners of my eyes and down my soft pink cheeks. One of the vine-like appendages came to my eye and lightly wiped the endless tears away. Everything sucked, as far as I knew.

"HULLO THERE!" A rather loud voice boomed from behind me, causing me to spring upwards and scurry up the tree in fright. I was barely a few feet up when I saw the source of the noise. An odd, black and white Mawile stood below me. She was kinda small for her species.
"Awh I'm not gonna hurt yah," she tried to assure me. I wasn't completely calm, but I slithered down the tree and stood before her. /A steel type...oh no.../ I thought frantically. That was the reason Amor had so much power over me--because she was a steel type. "Stop looking so worried!" The Mawile tore me from my thoughts. A kind smile took up the lower half of her face. I relaxed a bit more. She had no intention of hurting me. I didn't wanna talk. That wasn't like me, but I had to.

"Who...who are you?" I squeaked. I'd never be able to get used to my own voice, I decided.
"Me? I'm Passion!"
/What a peculiar name.../
"What's your name?"
"...Viridi." She didn't need to know the last half.
"Nice to meet yah, Viridi!" Passion stuck out a white and and I flinched instinctively, then looked back to that warm smile. Arceus...it was impossible to resist. I placed one of my magenta hands in hers and shook it lightly. Her red eyes shone with kindness. A tiny smile crept across my face. This was a truly friendly Pokemon.

"So Viridi, you from around here?" She didn't know?
"I...I am," I responded hesitantly. "What...about you...?"
"Oh me? I travel," Passion responded with ease, much unlike my response. Explains why this Pokemon hadn't seen me.
"Mmm...it's getting late." She wasn't wrong. The first few stars of the night began to appear as the sky became dyed by a deep indigo. "It...it it." I simply responded, making sure she knew I heard her. I sat back down, reclining against the tree.
"Where's your home?" Yet another question...
"I just sleep wherever." My response came without hesitance this time.

"So...you're just going to sleep for the night right there?" This Pokemon was definitely an alien in this area.
"Nothing dangerous around here. No reason to hide." I gave her my reasoning. Surprisingly, I was greeted by silence. The sky was dark now. I hadn't looked back at Passion, so I just assumed she had left. Slowly, I curled up on the ground and was surprised when I heard a soft thud beside me. The Mawile was laying beside me...! I...didn't know how to feel. I don't like sleeping in the presence of others generally...but the weather was getting cold, and the night would surely bring a tempurature drop. It...would be nice having another warm body beside me. I let out a very soft sigh solely out of comfort, and fell into a light sleep next to the Mawile.
