Akita laid her head down on her bed. She had enough things to do, and now a letter arrived in the mail saying she was in grave danger. At first, she had considered throwing the mysterious letter away and pretending it never exsisted, but alas, such things were not easy to forget. Akita also considered calling the authorities, but she was afraid the person who sent the letter would get her. So she kept it. Akita looked at her clock. It was getting late. She changed into pajamas and went to bed.

Forestry surrounded Akita. A worn out trail lay in front of her. Effortlessly, Akita lazily drifted down the path. Suddenly, a lone wolf walked out from a bush. Akita wanted to scream, but she was parylized with fear. This wolf was different from regular wolves, though, for it had wings and strange glowing markings. It simply said, "Akita, your life is in danger."

And then she awoke.

Akita lay in bed, cold sweat dripping from her pale, terrified face. The dream had been strange, and it felt as it had been real, even in memory. Who was that wolf, Akita wondered, and why did it say I was in danger? Worried and uneasy, Akita went back to sleep.

The next day, Akita woke up, still thinking of the strange dream. She flopped down at the table, cereal in hand. It was Saturday, and it was a nice day to go outside. She finished her breakfast and changed into jeans and a t-shirt. She went outside. The warm air and the gentle breeze along with the beautiful sunshine wrapped around Akita like a warm blanket.
Suddenly, the beautiful day dissolved into the dark, cold forest from her dream. "Oh no..." Akita gasped. "It-it can't be..." Her face fell. She again drifted down the path and met the wolf, but this time, unwillingly stuck out her arm, and with a searing flash of pain, the wolf became a simple tatoo on her arm.

Akita stumbled around in pain, but then it melted away. The strange landscape melted away, too. She was on the ground, in her bedroom, her mom frantically fanning her face. "AKITA! AKITA! WAKE UP!" her mom was yelling.

Akita opened her eyes and got up. She then said, "Mum, I'm fine. You can go now." Akita's mom left the room. Akita looked at her arm, and the tattoo was still there. Again, the tattoo flashed, and the wolf appeared.

"Oh my God..." Akita stood beside the wolf, parylized in fear. Suddenly, her senses grew sharper. She smelled the wolf with enhanced senses, and somehow knew the wolf's name was Crystal (yes, the wolf crystal). Crystal advanced politely, like a dog and it's master. Akita trembled in fear as the room began to dissolve around her yet again.

This time though, it was not the strange forest from her dream; it was a great big city with towering castles and the streets brimming with shops. "Whoa," said Akita, "Crystal, were in the world are we?"
