That I can tell you, I have one.
You can browse the Internet, buy apps (there are lots of free ones top), get music, play music, set backrounds, FaceTime (video chat), text, check the weather, ask the iPod something (you hold the home button until Siri talks to you), set alarms, take pictures and videos in HD, of course play games, check the stock market, and the new iOS7 software is pretty cool (it gave the home screen a new look), rent movies (usually $4 or more).
You can do so many things on it I reccomend you get it. I have the black one.
