^ No, it does not. It just means that kids thought it would be a good use of their time to take inappropriate pictures of themselves and send them to other people using Swapnote.
I hate to stand in the way of everyone, but I kind of wish people would stop blaming Nintendo. Nintendo is a company. They don't want to be responsible for underage people se.xting one another. They could get in trouble, and for a company, getting in trouble is baaad. Granted, they probably could have found a better way to deal with the problem, but for now the quickest and easiest way was to disable SpotPass. Might they come up with a better solution in the future? Perhaps. Might they not? Perhaps.
I just don't think Nintendo should be blamed. They were just doing what made the most sense. They can't know who's sending inappropriate content and who's not. And even if they just disable the photo feature, people could still be sending each other laviscious text/drawings. And as I said before, if you are a company, you SO do not want to be even CLOSE to being responsible for underage se.xting.
I'm just sick of people complaining about Nintendo. I don't dare continue talking about this, because enraged peoples will leap upon me and tear my opinions apart. :P
Glad to see that someone else is being rational...
