Wamth enveloped me, even within the dream. Usually I'd welcome it, but I'd rather be nice cold before having HER tails cuddle me. The silver tips of the dark snake-like appenages flicked about my face, neck and chest. All six of them. I wanted her to go away, but she'd just hurt me like before. I attempted to gather my voice, but it shuddered and cracked unattractively.
"Jaa-aaku-una...p-please...I-I want my w-w-warrior name..."
Her sickly motherly voice responded unwaveringly.
"But my dear, you have your warrior name. Kare(cahr-AY) Nikuya(nih-KHU-yah)."
"Th...That's no-ot a w-w-warr-rrior name...Jaak-kuna..."
All I could do was sob. Words spilled from my mouth but that evil vixen wouldn't set me free. Not ever.
"Of course it is, Kare sweetie! A fearsome one too! It means 'He who butchers.' Don't you think your opponents will fear a cat with that name?"
I didn't answer. I had no opponents. I was a rouge. Banished from the Clans. I heard they even made an addition to the Warrior Code to keep what happened to me from happening again.
I'm sure it won't happen again, though.
Jaakuna's told me many times I'm the final mortal she can speak to. That I'm the final living being she's put her trust into.
Oh StarClan, why'd I have to come accross that acursed knife?
Why am I even asking this...Jaakuna layed out my fate. Nothing was going to change. I was doomed the day I was born. But every day...

...I'm happy she was foolish enough to pick me, and meet me when she did. Every day I'm thankful she didn't meet me once I was leader, or even pick another leader. I even had the opperotunity to talk to a cat from StarClan.
"Stripedpaw...you would've been one of the strongest leader's ThunderClan's seen. Evil Distortion knew that and took you for herself, though..."
I'll never forget that StarClan warrior's words. Jaakuna robbed me of everything...possibly robbed the Clans...but I'm the only one she can hurt now.
And for that, I'm eternally thankful.
