In my religion, the Baptist religion, you must know that God sent Jesus to die for you and you must ask for forgiveness of all of your sins that you have committed in order to enter the gates of Heaven.
Doing good things in life will not give you permission into Heaven, there's even a verse that states it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

You see, the gift of God, meens Salvation, and Salvation is eternal life.
It's so simple, all you have to do is reach out and take it.
God offers this wonderful gift to everyone.
Including you.
This is also called "getting saved."
"How do I get saved?" some of you might ask.
Bow your head and pray and ask him for forgiveness and peace in your heart.
Ask him to save you from sin, and you will then be born again in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Also, I know some people tend to think "Well if God exists than why do bad things happen to people?"
First things first, God does these things to see how we'll act spiritually.
What does that meen? It meens He wants to see if you'll look up to Him for answers and comfort, or if you'll be foolish and blame Him for these things.
If your pet died, or your mother, or your best friend died, it's not God's fault, understand that EVERYONE has thier time.
If your mother died at age 70, you most likely wouldn't blame God, if she died at age 30, you'd blame Him wouldn't some of you.
Listen to me, my great grandmother is slowely going crazy and is dieing, my Grandma is getting really sick, it may be even fatel, but I'm not blaming God, I know those 2 will both be okay if they died tomorrow.

Of course I love them both dearly, aand I will miss them greatly, but I also know they will be taken good care of.

This is gorgeous. I adore the picture, but even more than that, the message was so true and perfectly written. You used Scripture to support your beliefs, not your opinions as some people do. I am happily saved, and though bad things still happen of course, I have a peace that everything will be fine in the end. :3
