There's no hunter rank in Warriors. There's: (Highest to Lowest)

Leader
Deputy
Medicine Cat
Warrior
Elder
Apprentice
Kit

The Leaders are like Alphas.

The Deputy is like a Beta & Delta, and there is only one. When the leader looses their 9 lives or retire the deputy takes the leaders place and chooses a new deputy.

Medicine cats are the Healers. They can have special messages from their ancestors. There is usually one Medicine Cat.

Warriors are warriors and hunters combined. They are apprentices who have learned and vowed to protect the Clan at the cost of their life. Every cat will be a Warrior unless he/she is training to become a medicine cat.

Elders are cats who retired. They are treated with high respect.

Apprentices are, well, apprentices. The apprentices do as they are told. They become apprentices at 6 moons. They must battle train, hunt for the Clan then feed themselves, and change the bedding.

Kits are cats who are too young to become apprentices. So the Queens (Pregnant cats or cats nursing kits) look after them.

NAMES:

A Clan cats name is important to determine their rank. For Example:

Snowkit. - A kit's name will always end in kit

Snowpaw - An apprentices name will always end in paw.

(I will skip Warrior & Medicine Cat for now)

Snowstar - The leader ALWAYS has star at the end. No other cat can have star at the end of their name.

These names differ. There can be many suffixes. I'll give a few. I will capitalize the suffixes so it's easier to see.

SnowEYE
SnowTAIL
SnowFEATHER
SnowBLAZE
SnowLEAF
SnowHEART
SnowSTRIPE

Etc. The Deputy keeps their Warrior name until they become leader.
