They call it pink eye because your eye swells and is raw pink. It does itch -_-'' it makes it so you can't even open your eyes at some points. Hopefully, you'll never ever get it o-o

It's 'rarer' where I live... but it's pretty common where the humidity is high, like Louisiana. Pink eye was a common occurance, seeing as the air was practically water, and when you blink you shoot infected water out 8 feet, and it joins the heaby air. It spreads FAST in those conditions... and it sucks.
