Sil's Past chapter 1: Prologue

(Sil's Pov)
It was the beginning of December, the fourteenth to be exact, and only ten days away untill my birthday. I'm so excited. I lived in a separate den than my sister and parents. But i'm still in their pack. I was resting, when my sister woke me up. "What do you want?" I say tiredly. "You can't smell that?!" She shouted in my face. I sniffed the air. Something smelled... like, like, smoke?! I smell deeper. "A fire?! But it's in the middle of Winter! How?!" I yelled. She just shrugged. I ran out looked around.
We live in a forest with a few other wolves. I saw Husty, a gray wolf, run past me shouting, "Fire!!!" at the top of his lungs. Cody, a dark red wolf with a black tail, also ran past me yelling "Help!!" My sister and I ran to our parents den. "Where are they!?" I yelled. They weren't there. "How should I know?!" My sister yelled back. We ran out of the den. I was about to say somthing else, but a giant flaming tree fell to the ground infront of me. "Aaaa!!" I screamed. "Come on! Let's get out of here!" My sister yelled at me. I took the lead and started running to the exit to our camp. We lived in a hollowed out bowl of land surrounder by trees and bushes. Right before I ran outside, I heard a giant crash from behind me. I turned around and saw a flaming tree separating me from my sister. "Soul!" I shouted. "Just run Sil! Run!" She yelled back. "I wont leave you! I wont run away when-!" I was cut off as thunder rolled and lightning flashed. The lightning struck a tree and fell. I quickly dodged behind it and ran.
I looked over my sholder to see my forest, my home, on fire. 'What would have caused that big of a fire?' I thought. After a while of running, I desided to turn back. I was walking back, and saw smoke in the distance. When I got closer, I saw that the fire had been put out by the ran. I was now walking through a soot filled forest, that was once my home. "Why... why here?" I asked myself...

I found what used to be our camp, but there was nothing there. I hopped down and sniffed. I sneezed. The air smelled heavily of soot, ash, and burnt wood. "Why... why..." I kept asking myself. I heard somthing behind me and turned around. "HOW?!" I yelled. The fire had started up again. I ran as fast as I could out of the forest and over the plains. But I missed one detail about the flames I saw. Behind the flames, in the darkness, glowed two purpple eyes. "I will have her soon. Very soon." It said in a horse voice. And the eyes disappeared. I kept running over the plains. Not stopping, not planning to. I just wish now I had taken the chance to look over my shoulder, for I was being followed by the purple eyes. And because I didn't, my life went from bad, to a nightmare. I'll just describe the feeling. Pain, astonishment, surprising... all those things suddenly washed over me. I slowed, and collapsed behind a small camp. My last thought was 'Will they kiII me, or save my life?' and I passed out
