Gojira 1954 by ABdow uNite

Request from @Zillaman101. Check out Zillaman's art! As you might have guessed, Zillaman is a Godzilla fan, and has drawn the monstrous creature on several occasions. I wanted to keep this loose and give it a watercolor/retro feel. This is why it is B&W, and not very busy or ultra-detailed. I wanted to keep it somewhat impressionistic, to keep a focus on the mood it is attempting to convey, rather than any specific element of the painting itself. Please also see @BrandonLeeRitter and @Nioxoin.

Gojira/Godzilla is without a doubt my favorite kaiju movie monster. What a great tribute!

I never saw the '97 version, but from ads it seems like they went by prehistoric realism which isn't exactly what inspired the monster. He's amphibious, not a T-rex, plus he spits fire, conjures electricity and is so massive a nuke can barely destroy him!
