this is Tetsuo from the manga AKIRA. (reference from the book was used)
AKIRA is one of the best Sci-fi works made, the movie is also one of the best animated movies existing.
It started out in Marvel magazines and then it was made into 6 volumes, highly praised as a great sci-fi series that stands as a landmark to japenese comics.
It discusses things such as problems with atomic bombs, sociaty, social isolation, inferiority complex, power and corruption.
