As Carina backed away, Notch's sword in hand, she refused to allow her fear to take over. She wasn't going to make the same mistake again. With the speed potion still in effect, she had a chance. She suddenly sensed Herobrine behind her, ready to attack. Unaware of this, he reappeared and swung his sword forward. In a flash, Carina turned and blocked it. Herobrine then lashed out several more attacks, Carina barely managed to block them. On the final attack, their swords locked against each other, Obsidian crashing against gold and lapis. "Hmm not bad" Herobrine said, suddenly another fire charge formed in his other hand "But not good enough!" he exclaimed and threw it. The fire charge exploded on impact, sending Carina skidding across the floor before coming to a hault at the far wall. She picked herself up, but suddenly realised she had no sword. It now lay on the ground behind Herobrine, who was slowly walking closer. The only "wepons" she had now were her bare hands.

Notch was still straining against the limit to break the obsidian chains, but they refused to give way.
Herobrine was now only a few blocks away. Carina was ready for him, or so she thought.
Suddenly, Herobrine teleported directly in front of her. Before she could react, he hit her off to the side and vanished again as she staggered off balance. Herobrine reappeared once more and quickly grabbed her by the throut and lifted her of the ground before smashing her against the obsidian wall. Keeping a tight grip, Herobrine looked back at his brother. "So much for your little creation, Notch. Or should I say, ours?" he said "What?!" Notch exclaimed "That's right, ours. Not everything in this pathetic world was created by your hand brother. It wasn't just the mobs i created, or at least had an influence on. Did you really think something you created entirely could have an ability such as the one she has? That, Notch, was my doing!" he explained "What?!" Carina exclaimed barely able to take it in. Herobrine faced her again. "That's right Carina. It's because of me you have a way with potions. You're mine!"

"You lie Herobrine! You were always unable to create anything that wasn't evil and corrupt!" Notch said. Herobrine faced him again before speaking. "Ah but you see Notch, that's where you came in. Allow me to explain.
"After you defeated me Notch, i made it so that a number of years before my return, i'd be able to tamper with one of your creations by giving them a special ability. I knew you'd believe it to be something of your own doing. I knew that when the time of my return was near, you'd have sensed it. Therefore you'd have chosen someone to take on the task of defeating me because you lose your power at night. So, seeing that Carina here had such an ability, you saw her as your best option. Correct?" Herobrine paused and awaited a response. He recieved none. Neither Carina or Notch could believe it. Herobrine really had planned everything, from the very beginning.

So intense! What will Herobrine say next? I'm holding my breath! (Not literally XD)

"Now Carina. I'm sure your mind must be bursting with questions. But, i know there's one that's been left unanswered sine you and i first met. It's about the cut on your arm right? Up until our first encounter, your ability lay dormant and unusable. So that night i equiped my sword with a once off enchantment. So the second my blade pierced your arm, the ability was activated. As for why you were unable to heal the cut, that was a little reminder as to who gave it to you.
"Now, there is only one more thing i must do, and that is to tae control of what i've created!" he finished. Suddenly, a dark pulse emitted from Herobrine's hand and into Carina's body. She could feel Herobrine taking over. Her heart and mind were being consumed by the darkness of his own..
At that moment, the chains snapped. Notch had broken free and now had his gold and lapis sword in hand. "I can't allow you to do this Herobrine!" he exclaimed. "Hahaha! You're to late!" Herobrine announced. He was right. Carina's eyes were now as white as his own.
Herobrine had taken over.

Inside Carina's mind, she could see the darkness coming in from all sides. There was nowhere to go. It was taking over. Suddenly, she saw a light piercing the blackness. She heard a voice. It was Notch. "You must fight him! He does not own you! I know you have the will to go against his power! Don't give in!" But it was no good. The light was fading. But then she heard something else. She heard the voices of Jake Gabe Fantasy and Viper. "Don't give up!" they said at once. But she barely heard them. The darkness was getting stronger.
In a final attempt, Notch charged towards Herobrine, but he was ready. Herobrine turned and hurled a fire charge. It exploded sending Notch flying to the other side of the room. "I've had just about enough of you!" Herobrine exclaimed as he formed two more fire charges, one in each hand and threw them both. Notch couldn't move. He was finished.

Suddenly there was a blinding flash and Herobrine suddenly felt something hit into him, sending him crashing back into the wall. When the llght cleared, both Notch and Herobrine saw Carina between them, eyes returned to normal and to Herobrine's anger, Neather Star Saber in hand. "But how?!" he exclaimed as he suddenly realised the third star was no longer around his neck. "I'm not yours to control Herobrine!" Carina told him as the speed potion's effect wore off. "Very well! If i can't control you alive, i'll k.ill you first!" Herobrine exclaimed and grabbed his obsidian sword. With that, they both charged into battle, lashing out with unrelenting attacks and strikes. But Herobrine refused to waste anymore time. Suddenly he vanished and reappeared just as quick, behind his opponent.
Carina felt a sudden surge of pain through her lower back before collapsing to her knees. Herobrine delivered another strike to her side, blood ran from it also. He came in front of her. "Is that all?" he asked menacingly, sword up-raised and swung down. But suddenly, Carina swung the Star Saber. It's blade broke through the obsidian sword and cut deeply across Herobrine's chest and left shoulder. He yelled as he staggered back and fell onto his knees. The pain was imense and his strength and power were ebbing as blood streamed from the wounds. He looked up to see both Carina and Notch standing before him. "....D-do as much damage as y-you want! You can't k.ill me!" he told them. "No. But i can banish you!" Notch replied "What?! No!" Herobrine exclaimed. Suddenly a Neather Portal formed behind him. "From this day fourth, I banish you to the depths of the Neather from which you shall not return through any portal you craft or come across" as Notch said this, Herobrine could feel the force of the portal pulling him in. "Herobrine, be gone!" Notch exclaimed. With these words Herobrine was dragged through the portal, unable to return again.

"You fought well. Thank you, all of you! You've saved this world as we know it. Now come. Let us leave this place" Notch told the five after they'd awakened. Notch teleported them out of Herobrine's lair. They arrived on a moonlit hilltop that overlooked a lot of the land. They could see for miles. "Notch, why are we up here?" they asked "Watch" he answered as he rose off the ground. Suddenly, a glowing light surrounded him and began emitting in waves across the land. The team spotted Witherville. It was being restored block by block with each passing wave. Notch was restoring the land and reviving the fallen. Soon the glow faded and Notch returned to the ground. Then, an orange and yellow light spread across the land as the morning sun peaked over the horizon.

It was no use, but he refused to give in. For the seventh time, Heribrine flew up to the open neather portal and once again, an invisable force reflected him. This time he crashed into the ground. As he picked himself up, Herobrine suddenly saw a tall dark figure. It outstreached it's hand to him, it's expression evil and it's red eyes narrowed. Herobrine obtained a similar expression, understanding why the creature was there. Looking up at the closing portal, Herobrine said "You haven't seen the last of me Carina. Nor have you my dear brother. I will return! This I promise you!"
