Dark Suzy rules in the Realm of Souls (explains the weird floaty thingies) and steals from those who either deserve it or have darkness in their hearts. Her presence is quite frightening: so frightening that whenever she is present, all colors turn a couple shades darker than their original color (this excludes the souls). At night, this is when she becomes a Soul Reaper. In the day, she causes many hauntings in homes.
