They try to escape, but their owners whip/tor.ture them. So they are stuck in the cages everynight, although together.

Anya's past:
As I was picked up by two warm hands, I looked up to see a smile on a face. A pale face, with hazel eyes and straight brown fur down to her shoulders. As She snuggled me into the crook of her neck, I licked her cheek as she carried me to a huge silver den. As she put me in the seat beside her, I squirmed onto her lap, searching for warmth. She looked at me and blinked her eyes several times. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion then yelled "Anya! I'll call you Anya!" I wriggled from happiness and let out a little squeak.

As the car stopped the sky had grown dark, still full of grey clouds. Their was a slight breeze and she opened the door of the den and brought me outside, in front of a huge red house. As she stepped in the door, me in her arms, I was put down on a soft, burgundy bed. My bed was huge, And Beside it was my favorite food, Kibbles N' Bits amd some water. It stayed like this for two months, Until I heard a knock at the door.
